  4. Water heater was working normal and then yesterday it stopped. Will not work on electric or propane. It is an electronic ignition Atwood 10 gal. Help! Service can not get here until Monday.
  5. Pioneer RV park just north of Phoenix. Most of the parks here in Phoenix do the same as I say we passed at 13 yo. But had never asked before.
  6. We were ask this today in a park we stayed in for a month last year, wanted to see our registration. We passed muster with our 2005,my wife said maybe we should get a newer mh 😄 because she likes this park.
  7. There is a good KOA at Brookville Ohio, just west of Dayton on I 70. Convenient to Wright Pat and Air Force Museum. About 15 miles west of Dayton. Safe area to stay. Many things to see and do in Dayton area. Roland
  8. Bill, I thought you might help convince me My only hold back is how much longer I will be doing this (health and age) both are ok now but no guarantee. Not sure I want to invest big dollars, and if I am going with older coach I think I should keep what I have.
  9. The quality of the road makes a great difference, today we traveled I 20 thru Ms and La into Texas, some of the road especially in Texas was smooth and we had little noise and other parts had strip joints and general roughness which made the coach soun d as if it was falling apart.
  10. I realize all rv’s will make some interior noise going down the highway, it seems to me my 13yo is getting worse. I have tightened what I can and on smooth roads it is not bad but any road roughness sets it off. Is this a problem of age or do the 2-3 yo coaches have the same problem? Do more expensive older coaches have the same problem and what about newer coaches such as Newmar? I am loosing my hearing but still can’t block out the rattle.

  13. Sorry Kay, we are headed out early. Maybe next time. Carl, we will be in Arizona till the middle of March. Yes Joe, it is a nice place and we plan to come back when we have more time to explore. We didn’t have any issues with the fuel or the mh so far Roland
  14. Yes we are heading southwest, will hit Ft Worth in 2 days and then on to Arizona. This is a very nice park, good sites and if you have time lots to see. we got out of Dodge at -11 on Friday, so far all is working good and no problems. Roland
  15. SHOUT OUT TO KAY! Thanks for the great recommendation of Tannehill State Park near Birmingham, great pull through in the woods for a great price. Dark and quiet. Roland
  16. Generator started fine letting engine block heater run
  17. No fuel filter, will try to get one

  20. Wayne and Carl, please get the temps up for me when I come thru next week. 65 would be just fine and try to hold down the rain.
  21. The only way I know of to self finance is to take money out of savings, out of retirement funds or home equity. With the current stock market I would not want to lose gains to finance mh so equity loan is only path and as previously stated this is probably not a wise decision for most of us.
  22. Carl, we did air up the tires to 110#, last I checked them with the cold they had dropped to 105#. Joe, I plan to check into the air dryer while we are in Arizona, not sure if I will attempt myself or go to Freightliner. I think I will use Freightliner and have the entire chassis serviced. Ray, I agree with slow start and do practice that . Thanks all for help, we have moved up leave date to Friday for a better weather window. Roland
