  1. Is anyone finding the rotation of the forum topics to be annoying?
  2. Try this company. Its family own and they build a solid quality product. Two of my friends have it on their 40 ft coaches and put their full HD dressers on them. They are electric . www.getoverbilt.com No problems towing a toad.
  3. Welcome, Try www.KileyMold.com they sell mounting brackets for your ladder and other brackets as well.
  4. I have had nothing but problems with this system. I have a '07 Newmar Kountry Star with the Atwood Level Legs. Been thru it all with them. Every time I went to use them, either set up or leaving, I had my fingers crossed hoping they would work. Replace a whole jack, on Atwood. Replace a motor on another one. Still crossing my fingers. After the last malfunction it turns out to be the controller. Big $$$, if you can get one. Call to Atwood, who has been great to work with, turns out the controller is discontinued. Great now what do I do, they said I can buy a whole new system, jacks, controller, etc. Its the relays in the controller, cant handle the power, they burn out. After much research I found a company that makes a replaceable unit. Cut out the Atwood controller and now I have a manual/momentary air dump switch and a hand held remote to operate each jack individually. Works Great, no more crossed fingers. And oh, it was $145 shipped to the house. Check forum " Electric or Hydraulic leveling" I have the company name and parts number.
  5. Just filled up for $2.93 a gallon, this is in New York of all places! Rt. 87 at exit 10. Now I can enjoy the Adirondacks seeing that they caught all the escapees!!
  6. Tireman, Considering what we shell out for these units it is shameful that they don't have more confidence in their products. I just experienced not being able to get a replacement control board for my electric jacks that are 7 years old. Manufacture stated that it is discontinued, my surmise is that they knew it was poorly designed in the first place. Car manufactures have to be able to supply replacement parts for ten years after the manufacture date, why not the RV manufactures? When asked what my options where, seeing that a 40ft coach needs to be level, they replied, we can sell you a new set of jacks with a new control board! They know they have us!
  7. OK here is my solution to the discontinued circuit board. I ordered a controller which will be a manual operation with a remote. Anyone having this problem might want to check this company out. I ordered RF340-4PR-TO $135. www.gamainc.com
  8. Brett, these jacks are electric. Made by Atwood called Level-Legs. The above # is the relay part that I cant find anywhere, any help would be appreciated.
  9. Here is the number: Nec. En2-b1n1s.5j2.305
  10. It appears that the relay is no longer available either. Thinking of the possibility of buying a controller 66275 rev 5 is for a Ford chassis and I can get the relay's out of it.
  11. Thank you both.. Rich, school is still in and I'll check that avenue and see if he/she can replace the relay. I'll keep you posted.
  12. ATWOOD CONTROL BOARD I have a '07 Newmar Kountry Star 3910 with Atwood Level-Legs. I need a control board for the system. It appears that one of the relays in the board have failed. A call to Atwood states that they have discontinued this item. Newmar doesn't have one either. The system is useless without this board. The Atwood part number is 66274 Any suggestions?
  13. Dale, I have used several different types, liquid and powder. I have found that if you have an elbow in your toilet drain to the tank that powder types don't deposit into the tank itself as quickly. There have been times when you accidentally run out and have to go to a neighbor to get what they have and it to me is a test to see how that product works. Only to go back and use the one that is tried and proven to work the best, by me. I use Thetford Aqua-Kem Liquid. Its 100% bio-degradable and breaks the solids down and controls odor very well. An 8 oz. bottle is recommended for a 40 gallon tank. I have a larger tank and dump it before heading home, then treat the tank and leave it ready for the next trip. You can find it at Wal-Mart or Camping World and just about any camping supply store.
  14. Friends of ours stay at Carrabelle Beach RV Resort, they spend about 2 months there during the winter. He also mentioned that a new RV park was built a short distance from there: Coastline RV Resort. Good Luck and enjoy!
  15. On my Spartan chassis there is a large round reservoir and it has a filter inside it, there is also another external filter ( looks like a oil filter ) and has a gauge on it. It holds hydraulic fluid. If these filters are dirty it will affect your steering.
  16. If your into wine, there is a hugh wine fest at the Watkins Glen race track in late July. Dry camping in the infield of the race track. Great vendors, wine, food cheese, music. On your way out on I-90, NYS Thruway, stop at Turning Stone Casino, exit 33, they have a really nice rv resort. Then proceed west to exit 42, Rt 14, and go south along Seneca Lake. You pass a ton of wineries on your way to The Glen. You wont be disappointed!
  17. I-81 thru Virginia and Penn has very steep grades. Good road otherwise. You take 81 to 88 (just into NY) to 87 in the Albany area then either continue on 87 north or take 90 east to the coast then up 95 to Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. Book your campsites early once school is out they tend to book up Have a safe trip!
  18. Many years ago I stayed at a KOA for the festival. They had a Good Sam package at the office which included a shuttle bus and tickets. They left the campground early and you went to a welcome tent that served coffee and doughnuts. You got there when it was still dark and that's when they light up the balloons. I thought it was a good deal.
  19. I don't think you'll need them if you are only air leveling. However, you don't know how out of level the grounds you will be parking on is and possible having to use your jacks.
  20. Mark, what was the final verdict. Been watching this and waiting to hear the cure.
  21. Mark I told you it was under the bed not realizing you have a different floor plan. I had a 200 Itasca Horizon. Remove the engine cover and on the back wall should be a black box with the colored air lines going into it. That is the instrument control module. The Freightliner part number is 1539-10159-01. My original one had a letter A after the part number the newer one has a letter E, indicating to me the this part has been updated numerous times. Let me know if this helps.
  22. Mark, there is a letter E after the part number. Mine original one had a letter A, this telling me the part has been updated several times. This is a Freightliner part. That fixed my faulty gauges.
  23. Mark, I told you it was under the bed not realizing you have a different floor plan, mine was a 2000 Itasca Horizon with the engine under the bed, I'm sorry about the confusion. Take the engine cover off and on the back wall should be a black box with the air lines running to it. That's the instrument control module Part # 1539-10159-01 Let me know if this helps.
  24. Under the bed there is a instrument control module. It has the colored air lines going to it. Freightliner updated this module several times.
  25. Try this company, they might have what your looking for. www.ultrarvproducts.com
