No it is not normal. I would first check the door switch. It sounds like the switch may be activated for a split second but not long enough to stop the dryer. It may need adjusting or replacing

I have Dish Network and I use a Winegard MiniMax Roadtrip ($700). It only has one LNB but it will automatically switch from satelite to satellite. When you initially turn it on, it will search for the satellites automatically. As far as the pay as you go, you have to buy the receiver up front. Do you have Dish in your home? If so, you can take one of your receivers out of the house when you travel and use it in the RV. You can then have Dish in the RV without any additional cost.

I would also check your filters and also see if there are any obstructions in the filter area that is restricting airflow.

I looked at this place prior to spending 5 months last winter in Florida. I chose to go to Ocala Sun RV Resort which is one exit south on Highway 484...then 1/4 mile west on the right. Big lots, super fast and free Wi-Fi, cable television with HD channels, and a reasonable price per month. They have a new clubhouse and the bathrooms all have walk-in showers. You can call Denise (the owner) for more information. Please tell them that Rick from Vermont asked you to check it out.

Go to http://www.workhorse.com and register your coach. You can then print out a manual for your chassis which may assist you in addressing both questions.

As an alternative to running wires to power a fan, there is a small fan that can plug into a USB port. The Dish Network box has two USB ports and your other equipment may also have USB ports. Check with Radio Shack.

Do you know if this is an electronic speedometer or a cable-driven speedometer?

Go to http://www.ubnt.com/ to read all about it. I have an omnidirectional antenna attached to mone.

The Bullet M2 can be setup either way so you both are right. I have one and it works wonderfully in pulling in a stronger campgroung signal...as well as the WiFi at a McDonalds 1/4 mile away.

I would also look in your basement for any outlets that exist to make sure a GFI is not tripped. I had a similar problem with mine and that is what it was.

Vehicle Instrument Panel Display Malfunction
vtbigdog replied to dveasey's topic in Type A motorhomes
There is a manual for the cluster which will allow you to run diagnostics. You do a gauge test, warning light test, LCD test, backlighting test, speaker test, switch inputs, analog inputs, and frequency inputs. Send me a private message and I will email it to you, as it is too big to paste into the forum. -
Vehicle Instrument Panel Display Malfunction

I have not seen your situation but I have encountered loose wires in the dash that have caused the radio and back-up camera to stop working. You may want to remove the panel and see if there are any loose wires. -
The distance you can expect a signal is directly proportional to the type of antenna you are using. An Omnidirectional antenna looks like a stick and is designed to be able to receive a signal in any direction. This is good for line-of-sight. If you want to pull in distances farther than that you need an uni-directional antenna that you can point in a specific direction. In Florida this winter, I could see three Wifi sites. Using an omni-directional antenna I could see 25 sites. One of them was a McDonalds about 1/2 mile away. I couldn't connect to it. Using a uni-directional antenna I pointed it at McDonalds and was able to connect to the Internet.

Probably there are relays in that box as well. Best thing to do is to remove the cover and when it starts clicking, place your finger on top of each square relay and see what that relay controls. You can then post that here for additional comments. A clicking relay may indicate a problem with the device that is attached to that relay and not necessarily the relay.

I installed a Hawkshead TPMS system prior to a 1,500 mile drive from Ocala, FL to Vermont. The peace of mind is incredible. I have 8 sensors that have removable batteries...two on my trailer and six on my coach. It was substantially less than $700..and less than $500. On the first day of my trip on Easter Sunday I had three flat tires on my trailer...first the right (I put on the spare) and then the left 500 miles later in the middle of I-95 in North Carolina. While sitting there the right tire I had changed in the AM had the valve stem break. ERS came and changed all three valve stems and I was on my way. I was alerted to an issue with each tire long before they went flat. If I had not been alerted I would have possible destroyed all three tires and possibly the rims, so in my opinion the TPMS paid for itself the first day

Traveling To Essex Junction, Vermont
vtbigdog replied to Kagin's question in Destinations/Attractions
I live 5 minutes from the fairgrounds where the rally is being held. You can spend days in Downtown Burlington which is on the shores of Lake Champlain. There is a Marketplace which has many nice shops and restaurants. Click on the Visitor Tab on the atached site for more information. http://www.ci.burlington.vt.us/ -
You may also have coolant loss as a result of a head gasket leak between the coolant jacket and a cylinder. This would result in coolant being expelled form the exhaust, albeit in a very small quantity If you tow a toad, see if there is a film on the vehicle.

Well Bill, I stand corrected. My channels are gone. shows you how often I watch them.

That is not accurate. Dish Network does not offer DNS Network feeds. You can order them through MyDistantNetworks.COM and its a lot easier than dealing with DirecTV as the original topic creator has had to do. And the feeds are all in HD/.
-
Reading this thread brings back memories of dealing with DirecTV...and they were all bad. That is why I switched to Dish Network. The cost of the satellite dish to receive HD on Dish Network compared to DirecTV is substantial. And Dish service is far superior in my opinion

It may look like something is dripping on the tire and running onto the wheel, but you may find that something behind the wheel leaked and dripped downwards onto the tire. In other words the wheel was oriented 180 degrees from when you noticed it. This could be wheel bearing grease, or lubrication grease, or brake fluid. Did you have the coach in for service? Could be the mechanic just spilled something

Dropped valve stem cap into front wheel/brake?

Extend the jacks and get that tire off the ground and then rotate it and it may just fall out -

Which Motorhome Will Keep Its Value Best?
vtbigdog replied to Barbcollins1@yahoo.com's topic in Buying an RV
Depreciation is only a factor when you sell and also keep in mind that the selling prices of items like cars, trucks, RVs and the like are often below what would be a reasonable value. That is just the way it is. From my perspective I would purchase the RV that suits your needs, particularly if you are going to keep it for several years. Both RVs you mention will be nearly fully depreciated and condition will be the determining factor when selling. -

Running Malwarebytes Anti-Malware software should remove the virus from the host computer, but if anyone has opened any of those emails they received, they would also be infected. FYI...this produce will also remove viruses and cookies that Norton and other anti-virus programs cannot detect...and it is free.
