I am having a problem with my full wall slide. It is leaving marks on the floor where the nylon rollers are. Has anyone had this problem ? If so how did you fix it.

I have been lucky so far if the coach has been down the shop has had a place for me to park. This time I guess that they will fix what they can and order the parts. When the parts come in I'll go back.

While here in Phoenix for the winter and maybe longer I have needed some repairs. Instead of packing up and going to La Mesa RV, I found a mobile service that would do the work under my extended warranty. The people from ASAP came out the next day saw what was needed took down all of my information and said that they would be calling me in two days. This they did but from that point it has been nothing. When I have called I get no returned calls. When I do get a call its sorry Winnebago won't sell us the part, or we can't fix that. They seem to have an excuse for a lot of things. When I first called them they said that they do warranty work for La Mesa RV and that they except Good Sam warranty. I guess not so much. I will be going to La Mesa soon. This is just a heads up that this should be a place to stay away from.

We too are staying outside of Phoenix and going home for some time in December. I plan on setting the temp at around 60 on the heat pumps. I also plan on getting a larger LP tank like 30 lb and to hock it up externally . Where in Phoenix are you?

We too are living out side of Phoenix. And will be going home some time in December. As far as heat I am going to set the heat pumps and then find a large external propane tank ( 40 lbs ) and set it up outside of my unit. With luck it won't get to cold. What campground are you in.

We have a residential frig. We use the expandable curtain rods. They work great sometimes things do shift.

Sorry to say it is not just your Camping World. Is seems to be the mentality at most if not all of them.

Is it possible to add solar panels to the roof of the RV in order to help with the A/C units. We will be staying in Phoenix and would like to help with the electric bills at the campground.

Have placed mine in the same location in the motorhome as I have in the car. There has been no problems.

My wife and I spent part of last winter around Chicago. We had the heat type on the water and the heated water hose. We also got a 120 gallon propane tank. With size tank we were able to keep the temp up and the basement nice and warm. If a refill was needed the propane company would come out and refill, no need to move the RV.

hsbsafety, Welcome to FMCA. Do you have the Schwintech System on that slide? I have it on my 2014 Journey and have had to have it fixed once so far. What is it doing or not doing?

Manholt, I know what you mean. We no longer have a house but we use our kids address for mailing. We now ask for an Advance Tech who will set up my local channels but will leave my mailing address alone.

I agree with wolfe10. On most of my vehicles the oil had to be change at 3000 miles. The exception was my honda it was at 5500. Since you have only 2000 miles since your last oil change you should be good.

Today on I ran into the problem of trees. RV mounted dish won't work. So I get out the carry out dish. I set it up turned it on and let it do it thing. With in 15 minutes we had Dish TV with HD. Since I have Dish the switches are all in the correct places. As far as who has the better HD , well that seems to be a matter of opinion. My Vip211z is from my house and we use it for both the RV mounted and the carry out dish.

I have used the tailgater for many years. I also use a tripod. When I set it up I use the compass setting on my phone in order to make sure that I have a clear sight. I look at southwest 213 degrees because I have dish. I also see that you did not mention how you connected to the 211z receiver. On some units you can't use the line for cable TV.

I used the worst dryer sheets and Irish spring soap. I placed the dryers sheets around the coach and cut the soap up and placed them on paper plates. . no mice

My Journey does the same thing. They say that it needs an adjustment. When I get to Phoenix I will have it done at La Mesa Rv. It should not be a big deal ...lol, but then it is a Winnebago.

Just had the same problem on my 2014 Journey. Cummins 400 DP. When I called Cummins to ask what type of coolant and color they could not tell me. I was told to call Freightliner and ask. Freightliner told me purple and a 50/50 mix. I checked the over flow reservoir and it was low filled back up to max line. Knock on wood all is well.

We have Allied thru FMCA. We had Foremost which was really costly. USAA could not cover us because of our size at 42 Ft. They sent me to Progressive.

We use a Sentry Safe. It is portable and Hinden in the unit. The alarm system that we use is 2 good size dogs. If you can get past the dogs you have earned the safe.

Need some help. We have a 2014 Winnebago Journey with an Ideal Rest bed. The issue is that the the bed must be put up like a hospital bed. There is several inches of room to allow the inner mattress to move. When this happens the inner mattress stays so we end up with about 3 inches of mattress at the bottom and a gap at the top. We are looking for any ideas on how to stop this. The manufactor can not help nor can Winnebago but the latter is no surprise.
