  1. Since I'm old, what does that orange symbol mean?
  2. Boys, I was standing on our front porch. Here are a few more images and one is the 300 amp alternator. The tan paint is Astin Martin origin
  3. Negative- that is the air intake grill.
  4. Sorry, no plans for that rally.
  5. Not normal - I give folks pieces of luxury vinyl planks to lay on main floor and where the slide comes in thus preventing any damage. Do this and get rid of those rollers that installer put on.
  6. The stepwell slide cover comes out from under the copilot chair. Bluebird had that unit on steel and the chair sits on a steel bridge. The main floor is plywood over that steel. In order to have the slide come out level, carpet had to be used there. If I had my chance to redesign that, the steel platform would have been removed and the cover elevated to eliminate the carpet. I'll buy a Prevost Royale before I do all that.
  7. This installer NEVER messes with how the slide moves. I work around how the factory manufactured it
  8. Carl- who was your friend? Two of us guys started the original Wanderlodge Forum decades ago- he may have been a member and I saw him at the Rally in The Valley in Perry, Ga
  9. It is a 97 model with series 60 Detroit diesel. 43 feet long. Easy to drive with the 10 airbags.
  10. my avatar is the photo of my Wanderlodge
  11. Get rid of those OEM treads and get some new ones by Roppe- add your wood to the risers and then install the treads- I also got rid of the metal on the bottom step that the paint has been scuffed off
  12. if it looks like this- it can be made over
  13. I think I'm snake bit- all of Aug is open, Sept 15th and Oct 1 are open.
  14. I have a couple open dates
  15. Every coach with slides operates differently. After all the flooring is removed, I lay a piece of new flooring on the main floor and retract the slide to see what is going to happen. Sometimes you have to use some lvt planks, sometimes you don't.
  16. If the slide moves on top of the hard surface, you can get some LVT planks and lay them on the floor so the slide glides over them.
  17. Sales people at dealerships should keep their views on sales- not on flooring. You can add wood on the slides, also.
  18. Engineered wood is a great product. You don't need any quarter round to cover the gaps against the walls or cabinets. You can add that to the slides, also
  19. That section of bluebird is out of business.
  20. Engineered wood, adhered with urethane adhesive- never any problems.
  21. tile weighs- depending on the grade around 5 pounds per square foot. couple that with the thinset and grout and you maybe pushing your CCC limits. Engineered wood weighs a lot less.
