Good ones Herman!
-
Carl, improve your golf game. Take a two week vacation and then quit altogether!

Yep! IR will bounce around on shiny objects, especially the ceiling and tile floors. SFCampbell, I just recently had the traveler changed out to Dish and went with the Wally. I'm now interested in the Hopper3. We have the hopper3 at the S&B with 3 Joey's, It would be nice to take it with me when we are on the road, or get a second one for the MH. I don't need a Joey in the MH. We watch the same channels and the HDMI Matrix sends the signal to all the TV's.

We have stayed at Branson Stagecoach RV Park. It is/was a Passport America Park so $25 a night was reasonable for that area. It is about a 15 minute ride into Branson,

Having the front end checked still applies. Roadmaster is a customized Freightliner Motorhome Chassis
-
As an '07 you have some bumpy road miles and things can loosen up. I would take it to a chassis specialist for your chassis and have it checked out. In my previous 2008 MH with a Freightliner chassis and when I had it in for an annual inspection I mentioned the slight wander. When I picked it up the technician said he tightened all the front end bolts. What a difference it made. Eventually I had a Safe-T-Plus installed.

We had rain here yesterday for a couple hours. Nothing real bad. Today was much cooler but very sunny.

Joe, Today was DRUNCH (Dinner and Lunch) at Lambert's in Foley, AL. Home of the tossed rolls. Temperatures were only in the high 50's and low 60's. Come on down,

To me SOS is made with chipped beef. Had a lot of that in the military. Great on eggs over easy. Sausage and gravy is sausage paddies all broken up and cooked in the rich thick creamy gravy. Big difference.

SKI Mobile (S=Spending, K=Kids, I=Inheritance) Or see signature. -
Ah! On the road. Week in Gulfport, MS., two weeks in P'Cola, cabin fever diminishing. No telling where our leisurely trek back will take us.
-
If you are in Houston I could give you a great reference. Oh well - good luck. We lost our 2008 to Harvey. Found a 2015 and made arrangements to have the air line installed. Went to pick up the 2015 and walking around to my surprise was the air fitting on the back of the 2015.. For once I got lucky.

Call SMI and ask them. They should have a list of their dealers.

Finding Good Food On The Road..that someone else cooks
wayne77590 replied to TimeTraveler's topic in General Discussion
Hey, I'm married to what I call a gourmet cook. It's how I keep my round shape. Shhhhhh! Don't tell him. -
Carl, don't fret. It's the best thing that has happened to him today. To RPStewart, If you can plan ahead you can view he gas station via Google Satellite map. When I drove a Gasser 1 ton pulling a 21 foot TT I look for those on the road that had a straight (parallel to the road) island. Made for much easier pulling in and out. Many of the modern GS's have islands that on the extreme edge can accommodate large vehicles.

Finding Good Food On The Road..that someone else cooks

Kelly's in La Marque, TX has some really good food and the quantity for the price is outstanding. Always left overs for the next days lunch. Their CFS is excellent and look at the menu and prices. Kelly's. The CFS is around $8.50 and seniors $7.50 with 3 sides, free bread and cornbread. Another place we like is "The Fish Place" in Dickinson, TX. They had a fire and are re-opening now. Varying seafood but also steak, haburgers, etc. Their Jalapeno poppers are to die for as is their catfish - with an all you can eat for about $12, Presently in Gulfport, MS and both Gulfport and Biloxi have the Half Shell Oyster House. it was so good the first time we took friends a couple days later. Excellent food. I liked the seafood pasta so much I had it twice. Noodles in a creamy sauce topped with crawfish and crab claws. Absolutely nothing beats Earlene's biscuits and sausage gravy and my added fried eggs also smothered with her gravy. To die for. -

Ah grasshoppers, I sent an email to Aqua Hot services and here is what was said What I Sent. "Hello,There is a little controversy going on so I thought I would ask the experts.Should the Aqua Hot burner be turned on for one cycle on a monthly basis. It is said to keep the nozzle clean,ThanksWayne" -------------------------------- The reply. "Wayne, We do recommend that the unit be ran at least once a month if it's not being used for daily use. This does keep the fuel moving and helps prevent clogged nozzles. We still want to have the maintenance done annually but this should help prevent any issues you may have when pulling your coach out of storage. We also recommend running the heat zones as well. This keeps the antifreeze moving as well. Also since Propylene Glycol is Sugar based, running your zones will keep the check valves from sticking which could lead to a lack of heat. Thank you,Emily Higbee Customer Service Technical Representative Aqua-Hot Heating Systems, Inc" ----------------- So there you have it,

How did you make the floor?
-
I have that in this coach. A 3 burner gas stove top and a 28 gallon propane tank taking up space.
-
How old is the house? I was under the impression that houses were 15-20 amp. When in storage my MH us plugged into 110v15A and the converter keeps the batteries charged. Your furnace is most likely propane with 12v blower so the batteries should stay charged. As stated, there are other considerations in cold climates. p.s., I'd go with 50Am for future purchases and the cost for 50A install versus 30A is not that much more. Just make sure the wire gauge can support the 50A. AWG-8 will do but AWG-6 is better. It has to be wired for RV as previously stated.

Carl, The Sunhiners are having a rally. Don't know if they are FMCA but probable are,

Yep! Also when he was finished my cost went up several dollars. I did argue that point, he put me on hold and then came back and all was well,
