  1. Are you sure?? Last year I went option for option bolt for bolt on a Anthem and Allegro bus. As close as apples to apples as possible and the bus was $60K more.
  2. Nce vehicles but way too much money when going new for the awd especially.
  3. you can buy G4 LED bulbs at lowes??
  4. I believe everyone here is talking about Interior G4 ceiling lite bulbs and not headlites??
  5. I looked at them all and I like the full frame Suzuki Grand Vitara 4x4.Its all wheel drive plus 4 wheel lock and also low range drives good, excellent brakes and handling,30MPG, very lite to tow,Needs no mods, extremely well built and was price wise new the cheapest of all small 4wheel drive SUV out there.we love it.Not saying its the best but its pretty dahm good
  6. So???? how do they stay in business? Do you people not have any laws in the US that would take care of this deal?
  7. BUT? Surely this is totally illegal, is it not? I mean, if you file a false income tax return they put you in jail, nowadays.
  8. One should be reporting this guy to the appropriate authorities. Obviously its a scam, but surely the dealer that sold it to you would be fully aware of this situation?? Did you bother to contact the people whom sold you this policy and see what other customers are saying etc?

    Slide Motor

Anyone know if there are such things as EHD slide motors that direct replace standard duty slide motors??
  11. Not really. Its not rocket science, no different than jumper cables or any 12V hot wire. One has to assume its someone who knows what their doing and not someone whom has not a clue.
  12. Like other have said.buy a 1.25 amp battery charger(aka) battery minder) or if your plugged in to SP run a jumper wire to your chassis batteries from your house batteries.
  13. Like the last two replies.Get a battery minder type product. Costco has a real good battery minder unit on sale for $44.95. Just be aware this is not a charger and if your battery got real low you have to use a normal charger to charge before the Battery minder works.
  14. There may be a battery connection problem at the batteries, assuming your sure the batteries are in good shape and not dead. If the disconnect switch was off they should not work either way. At least that's how my DP works.
  15. Craigs list is best source out there.Maybe also try ebay. Used ones are usually 1/2 or 1/3 what new ones are and can't really ever hurt a base plate.
  16. Well it should be important because that what this whole thread was about?? Its not what's important to you because its not your claim. The op claimed he was held up getting a release because the insurance would not pay out till they received cost copies of product received. You beek off and say they have no right to this information. So I disagreed because you have no right to dictate personal opinion to a company paying out their own cash.
  17. Clyinders extended on a loader bucket etc are not the same as Cylinders extended under a motorhome so hard to compare however I have sat for 5 months with jacks extended and no problems. The only problem I see is if in storage and one leak's down and you don't catch it in time you can do wall and cabinet damage etc and possible windshield problems.
  18. What year and does it have IFS?? Mines a 2008 and has IFS and high winds effect it very little. I drove through severe winds from Reno to Indio a week ago and it handled it very well. No death grips on the steering wheel. I had a 2002 Bus and it was SFA front suspension and it was terrible in high wind.
  19. JIM, Why did you not ask them if they in some cases require a copy of the cost to vendor invoice?? as actually that's what this is all about.
  20. All Allison transmission information is all found online: http://www.allisontransmission.com/servlet/DownloadOnDemand?ApplicationID=155&DownloadID=5
  21. Did not know they were no longer replacing tripped sensors. I have never personally experienced a tripped sensor as mine seems to function well as is. In regards to bypassing the unit its very simple procedure but as I said if you do bypass make sure you monitor the fridge closely to make sure it was false alarm and not the for real deal.
  22. How would that cause the overheat red lite to come on especially if both coolant temp gauges both show 178??? and if the coolant was that low it sure as heck would not show normal temperatures.?? unless this is a low coolant warning? and not a heat warning? then it may as others have aluded to simply need topping off
  23. As you know by now the Black box controls the 12V power required to run the fridge. This box will trip for one of 2 reasons: 1) the coolant has leaked low and the fridge overheats when it tries to cool down causing a high flue temperature resulting in the heat sensor shutting don the 12V supply which is how the system is supposed to work. 2) You simply have a tripped/faulty recall sensor and (my opinion) should be replaced. The latest recall sensor will have a E on it. I have heard of the magnet fix but I say replace it. You can bypass the recall sensor and carefully monitor the fridge and see if it cools OK. If it cools properly then simply replace the sensor control box. If you bypass the sensor and try to make the fridge cool do it during the day when you can monitor the fridge to make sure its cooling and not grossly overheating.
