All I know how to do is post the dash cam. Maybe Brett knows how to block the sound. DW and I had discussion about calling 911 as I believe that driver needed to be taken off the road and DW said none of our business. I hit the brakes and change lanes to stay out of the mess then got behind him and saw no plates. FILE0053.MOV Looks like the file has to be downloaded to view. 5 minutes long with the truck coming into view about 1.5 minutes. Don't download if you are offended by the oh s word. -

On the 1st we went to Pensacola NAS and spent the night on the dock with generator running. The cold from the NE followed us so we were smart enough to plug in the heater in the basement. When we checked in both camp grounds there suffer frozen water pipes but was able to get it going again during the day when it warmed up. We kept the heater in the basement going the next night as the cold was to go to 25 F. Then we headed for a 2 day trip to Fort Hood, TX and ended staying at the campground near Belton, TX. We had no sewer there and was already two days on the road. We conserve water use for 5 more days until we go to NAS Corpus Christi. We got to NAS Corpus Christi OK and was behind a 18 wheeler that drifted off I-37 and hit the guardrail. I have the video saved to the laptop from the dash cam. I posted it on facebook but may also youtube. I went to the left as he went to the right and lucky wasn't in too much danger. It was 74 f today but windy, tomorrow supposed to be the same and then clear up. -
Anytime rain has ended I run the slides in and out to drain off the water.

No we took 322 to 50 down throught DE and MD and across bay bridge. Then we ended on 95 right at the bottom of DC then to Richmond VA. We follow 95 to 85 which took us to Charlotte, NC. We heard about the bad weather on the island during the week and 40 cars in the ditch on Camano Hill Road. That road is less than 4 miles long. -

Had to make a unscheduled stop at Blue Beacon Truck Wash late yesterday afternoon. $53 well spent for both the coach and toad. Got caught on snowy roads in DE and MD. Clean up in NC -

Yes the snap disc wiring is 18 gauge or less so a low amp wall thermostat would work. I'm not going to work on it in sub-freezing weather as it follow us to Charlotte, NC -

We decided to leave Dover AFB and the cold snap here is colder than usual. Been in the teens lately with 8 f coming in on Sunday so we are leaving early. There is snow forecast for tomorrow so we will leave in the morning. We have been doing well keeping everything thawed out so far. We are going back to Charlotte Motor Speedway for a couple of days then to FL. -

White Rodger makes a 2 terminal one for garage and barn use that goes down to 35 F. It is simple and would be simple to installed. I have to go through the process to be sure that is what the problem is. Jumping the "snap disc" and if it turns on problem found. -

The thermostat is external of the cargo heater. I will check once I get in warmer climate. -

I don't think it's the heater itself but there is suppose to be a thermos disk behind the big white plastic wall. It's just a one wire in and out to tell the unit to turn on. Seems like a simple thermostat can replace it. -

Wow finally a connection that will allow me to sign into the forum. Other connection would allow me in home page but told me to create account to go in to forum. Then said my account exist but no access. I email admin but no response to fix. I'm now in Dover AFB since Monday night. When we got there for some reason the inlet to fresh water pump froze and shot the last water out then pump cavitate. I hooked up street water hose and that got us through the night then the hose froze and so did the hydrant handle. For some reason the cold weather package was not working in the basement and the hydrant heat tape cord was not long enough to plug in the pedestal. That morning I went to the exchange on base and picked up a 6' extension cord, adapter and small ceramic heater. I plugged in the hydrant heat tape and it didn't take long to get it going again. I hooked up the hose after thawing it out in the shower stall to the blowout to prime the water pump. Then I fill the fresh water tank and install the small ceramic heater in the basement to keep the pipes and water pump warm. Since we have full water and gray and black tanks were low we are good to the 1st of the new year. Then we will be heading south hopefully to FL within a couple of days. When we was in Charlotte, NC I finally replace the entire porch light and LED bulb. That gave me so much trouble last year and quits again this year. The finishing touch will be when I get home is to paint the white plastic to match the coach. I think the problem with the cold weather package is the thermostat that turns it on and off. The main switch is on and I haven't ever seen it active. I wonder if I can replace that with a surface mount thermostat? -

Been on the road since Saturday and already having problems. First the Aladdin system quit all together. Rather than to find the fuse i hooked the three cameras direct to the LCD monitor with rear being default. The aladdin system was so unreliable that I don't miss it. As for the turn signal being side cameras I decided to leave them as manual. That way i can keep an eye on the toad during the lane change. The mirrors are set up right so I'm aware what is on the side of the coach so I don't rally need side cameras. I tried wazes gps and is a bust, It keeps shutting down so many times for no apparent reason. Had to use google maps to get to where I'm going. I ended up destroying the coach long rock guard pulling into a service station to reset the Wazes. I wonder if it would be best to take it off. The coach already have mud flaps. The tire monitor keeps going off and i stopped several times and check tire pressure and they are fine. The tire pressure monitor appears to be 10% higher than the tire reading. I may try to change the batteries but I don't think that would help. I'm at Ft Bliss, TX right now and leaving in the morning. I probably end up somewhere near San Antonio tomorrow. -
If something goes wrong with the residential refer the manufacture will say it not designed for an RV so no liability. That is if it breaks down or catch on fire you will be out of luck with recourse. At least I have a safety device on my fridge. Residential mean just that, it not designed to bounce down the road. Here is a search for certified rv refrigerators. https://www.google.com/search?q=certified+rv+refrigerators&spell=1&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj_yJ35zPnXAhXMy4MKHet6CWYQvwUIJigA&biw=1280&bih=956

I wonder if it made a trip to Alaska? Lot's of MH and TT got damaged going through the Yukon. I seen entire axle laying on the side of the road.

Fuse I was speaking about was looking at the fuse in the panel not the jumper wire. Speaking about the jumper wire fused or non-fused, why not use a test light instead. That's what I was taught about 50 years ago. It's a lot safer and you don't have to drag a power source from somewhere just find a good ground. Maybe at the motor itself.

It's the heating elements in the Norcold that cause the cracks in the tubing as it get to hot and cause a crack in the tubing by overheating. I don't use the heating elements only propane and have a aftermarket controller not the recall box. I don't think a residential fridge would last longer going down the road.

Was nice of you to take your panel off to show where the fuse, errr circuit breaker is. Reason why not able to find a fuse because it's a circuit breaker. I was to lazy to take mine off and take pictures. If they can't find the fuse or circuit breaker don't be jumping motors.
