When I worked fleet, many of our dump trucks had this third filter. Was really hard to get to and easy forgotten on driver side cab over design front engine. We knew it had it purpose and was caught with a few problems because of it.

Or he can bolt them over the outside and not see the original round holes unless he wants to square (rectangle) them up.
-
You just use a bigger hammer to tap them in. I'm sure you can find round ones with a search like I mention above.
-
Brett idea is worth checking out but here is another. I just ordered for a electrical contractor a pair of 7 x 6 LED Head lamps for his work truck. Maybe yours can use the round ones. Anyway we will see how well this will work for him as this had great reviews. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L6S5SVK/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

LOL my bus is 4 eyes with low beams outboard and high beams inboard with driving lights at the bottom. Not six because the driving lights turn off when high beams are on.
-
I have projector headlights on front of mine with halogen bulbs and work great. I don't even need the driving lights with them. The high beams are very bright and separated lens. They are made by Hella. Very small and mighty good.

I sure hope you have motorhome insurance not just car insurance. There is a big differences between them. Talk to your insurance provider.

Dave, welcome to the world where RV wiring is marked but not so clear. I recently got caught on that looking for a blown fuse when I was making a wiring harness for my toad. From coach to toad. Got the wiring harness made up and no left turn on the toad but have it on the coach. Looked at fuses panels seen one that had park, left turn and right turn but no mention of trailer. After checking all the wiring to the toad and on the coach I pulled the left turn fuse on a hunch. Yep 15 amp fuse blown and only for the trailer lights. Glad it wasn't a wire halfway up the coach.

I believe it $ if you had to replace the cooling unit or replace the entire fridge with the $ around $500 Max. Not worth the bother as the lawyers is the big winner here.
-
Yes my last toad was a Jeep and I got scolded and accused of hitting a SRX when I parked next to one. When I told him I own one of them too he didn't believe me. LOL

Thanks everyone, hopefully she is felling better for awhile longer. She agree to toad the SRX Cadillac. LOL

Visit San Juan Islands Washington State
huffypuff replied to bchampton's question in Destinations/Attractions
I live here in Washington and on an island except the one I'm on has a bridge. Going on the ferries by foot is the best as most attraction is nearby. -
Bill, it don't have anything to do with my happiness as I do have fun. That was an old saying that goes back way before my time. I was having fun with it.

Thanks everybody. tomorrow morning the long weekend starts for us. I am hopeful this will continue as we all know, make the DW happy and all will be happy. If she's not happy, run and hide.
-
Well looks like we will be back in the saddles again until DW says no. Never mind me, I'm just a resident and driver. We are going to take the coach out this labor day weekend Friday til Monday. Then third week of September to a chapter rally in Oregon. She is talking holiday and winter run to the east coast. I don't know what to say, just doing what I'm told one day at a time.

Update, I took a picture of new monitor mounted in the dash.

Like if any of those websites have any meaning to us.

Same here Bill and if you mention you got a hinnie bite you get another one. I replied to them to take their membership and shove it as I don't want to be part selected few that gets shoved around by members, not allow to complain about it and get warnings if I do.

I emailed the owner of http://www.rvcams.com/p/WeldexMonitors/WDRV-7063M-UPGD.html about having color cameras and got a reply a few hours later. He said wow I would of never expected that, thanks for sharing the information with me.
-
Well since it's not showing wiring and shows a couple of lines going into it there had to be an explanation why it's not vented.
-
Are you sure that is a picture of a 300 amp alternator? Looks like some kind of pump to me.
-
I used the Weldex conversion kit to fit the same hole in the dash. My system also have the Aladdin with engine date and trip meter with compass and calendar. For that reason all cameras go through another computer and only the six pin feed goes to the monitor. Also the monitor has to be set to manual rear six pin only. The Aladdin has been a little quirky with the B&W monitor so I will see if it will be better. If the Aladdin was to quit I can hook up the three cameras direct and put the monitor in automatic. jleamont direct hook up and automatic will probably fix your friend system. Even the old monitor I took out had auto mode with triggers for right and left cameras. Default is rear camera with tilt and sound.

I replaced the rear view camera today and got a pleasant surprise. When I replace the old Weldex B&W CRT monitor with a color LCD I expected to still see B&W from the rear and side cameras. Imagine my surprise when I received color images from the cameras. I can't figure out why the builders install color cameras and B&W monitor. I don't think the builders saved much.
