  1. Great prices, they should sell quick.
  2. Carl there will be no arching if the cord is dead which will be until the progressive unit throws it's relays. If course I'm also afraid of campground pedestals but their breakers are also inside the box.
  3. Jimbo as a rule of thumb it is best to run one hour per month to exercise the generator. This not only gives you clearer fuel but keeps the winding in good shape.
  4. Hard wire a Progressive Industries 50 amp surge with voltage protection will solve of having to hit the breakers. Voltage will only flow only when the circuit is approve. The best investment you can make to your coach. They have a limited lifetime warranty and BBB rating of A+. The hard wired one protects you from a bad cord so I recommend that over the portable one. Link below is one of very good price and the second link is to the manufacture. https://jet.com/product/detail/30d648357bb84626819727a473eee624?jcmp=pla:ggl:electronics_a1:electronics_accessories_power_power_strips_surge_suppressors_a1_other:na:na:na:na:na:2&code=PLA15&k_clickid=4a0f955d-a0a1-41a6-88f6-b8e469c404bf&abkId=403-187134&gclid=Cj0KEQiA3t-2BRCKivi-suDY24gBEiQAX1wiXNBmLlBh6xZqMLdfG72Zk5jkTq4UqOj3ZMIkMe45Dz8aAmvR8P8HAQ http://www.progressiveindustries.net/

  6. Nice to have a good laugh before having to turn in for the night.
  7. Bill if you looks at their before and after pictures you will see they fixed structure and rot damage. They specialized in roofs and are a FMCA commercial member. Yes they have a thick spray on coating that makes the roof very impact resistance. Won't hurt to call them.
  8. I believe your right and the slide has a lot to do with HWH.
  9. Carl I told him and he supposedly did that.
  10. Again call the link I pasted as they have several location in Florida, Texas and Arizona. Click the link so you can see before and after pictures of roof damage repair. They will throw away the rubber roof and seal directly to your roof plywood which is better. http://www.davidspermanentcoatings.com/
  11. Had the wife plug in the coffee maker, a tea pot and a toaster at the same time. Yep it popped a breaker on the inverter. There are 2 of them outgoing and one incoming power.
  12. We haven't a problem like that but it could happen filling around a curve. Normal cruise down the interstate shouldn't be a problem. To stop the ice maker all you have to do is lift the wire arm until it locks in up position.
  13. Um I think the title says 2004 Monaco Knight. Try this link many comes in a roll and cut to fit. May have to use weatherstripping glue. https://www.rvupgradestore.com/RV-Gaskets-Seals-s/307.htm
  14. All coaches have their problems and Newell is no exception. I see the owner on the roof one day and I question about is his satellite giving him problems. He said no. Well we have a good cable system in the resort. No again. So what was the problem. The Winegard digital HDTV motorized sensar antenna power up down sticks. Winegard told him they discontinue the model and no parts to consumers. Newell left him hanging also. Guess money can't buy everything.
  15. There is a company called RV Flexarmor that repairs roof. They do so before they coat the roof. Maybe you can get insurance to pay for most of it. Link below. http://www.davidspermanentcoatings.com/
  16. That sounds like it would be a great engine for a small pickup or a 1500 series pickup.
  17. Herman what if you got to your destination and have no ice cubes. I just told you how my coach is setup. The inverter outlet has a label on it that reads for icemaker only.
  18. Herman, you got it backwards, inverter is for icemaker when driving and dry camping. The shore power is to power the two heating elements when not on LP that will spin the meter fast. Also the shore power one should be active when the generator is running.
  19. Yes I had already looked up that monitor $450 plus to replace with a LCD and adapter bracket. It would fit in that same dash cutout as the old one. When I put it back in the dash and it continue to work, I tried not to blink.
  20. There is a new type of slide that requires no topper and not only wipes clean but shuts flush without the tell tail flange on the edges. I saw one up close on a high end Newell coach and it looked great. This one also had electric front door with two heavy duty arms that moves the door to the back of the coach. I hate to think how much that coach cost.
  21. I had two of the toppers replaced at Coos Bay, OR last summer because they starting to rip. The other two was replaced when I brought the coach. ShadePro that did the work did a great job and have the new toppers nice and tight and tighten the other two. I also got a drop screen from them for the 17' awning at a great price. They are at many of FMCA rally's and I recommend them as was the best money spent for professional work. Other companies seem to try to run away with your wallet.
