Thank you Ian! Since I don't have much cold and no where near your weather, it had me baffled..
-
Dial it down to 5 amps-- say's so, in your Owners Manual, suggest you read it cover to cover. I know, it's boring, but it's the only way your going to know your coach!

IMHO, I'm guessing it's a 36 LD!

Sure hope it's a match! Agree with Rich ! 🙊

Holes look round and uniform in size, like a tool was used to allow water to drain?

Welcome! Also try to start and listen for Lift pump..

Denny, On I-70 is as Herman said, lots of passes and tunnels. 60 miles from Denver, climbing all the way, is Eisenhower Pass, 11,118 feet...I was there July 14, 2018 on my way to Gillette, WY. It was snowing! I only took I-70 East Bound because we came out of Cortez, CO. I-70 also has a lot of Semi's crawling up the passes and in a coach, I'm not as nimble as a car! Check CDOT for construction and closures! Not saying to you that you should stay away...that's your choice, but if you have not had a lot of Mountain driving in a coach with toad, use caution! Also, use your gears and exhaust break going down hill...If 40 is good enough for a 18 wheeler, it's good enough for me!

It has been mentioned before and IMHO, can't be said enough! Thank you for bringing it up!

Wayne, as you well know, upper echelon does have a history of putting the cart in front of the horse! Frustrating as it can be, we are just along for the ride...- 46 replies

Bill, what information or suggestions, can you add for OP, that Brett didn't cover?

Welcome! Mine is all electric coach, so I have plenty of phantom draw...I have a trickle charger for my start batteries. My house batteries are charged by my 50 amp shore power and I leave both my inverters on and turn nothing off. If I only had 15 amp, then I would dial my inverters down to 2 amp a piece and only leave the residential fridge on. Not knowing, what make and model you have, it's difficult for us to give you suggestions!

Bill, your attending rally's with Lone Star Chapter also.

Others are doing it...why not you? I would place the motor in the toad or bay...you don't want it to walk! Why not a elect trolling motor?

Brett, you beat me to it. Have a great sail & Happy Safe New Year! Be nice to see a photo of Beach & Lobster on grill.

Welcome! I was on I-70 from Grand Junction to Denver last July...not doing that again! Been on I-80, both directions and prefer it, just not much to look at. US rout 50 (the loneliest highway), wonderful drive, just have a full fuel tank when you get on it. There are some service, but few and far between..Truck Stop when you get to US 93 Junction! A lot of Mountain passes, and some of the most beautiful scenic views anywhere...take your time to explore, stop & take pictures! I took a week, last time in 2014. If my rig has no problems, yours won't either!

Yep, I remember well, when we only had one AC and no ducts and a small microwave...we had to turn of one to run the other! It beat a tent on the beach!
-
Yes, Welcome and Happy New Year! You could do South Texas in winter and Big Bend National & State Park in Spring! You only have about 850,000 square miles of Texas to play in!

The more, the merrier! Mine is Silver Leaf, when it stopped working and my screen turned blue, I found out that I had a spliter. one cable in (from rear camera), 2 out, one to computer and one to rear camera part of screen. My splliter was located behind a fake wall panel in my driver side cabinet. Replaced and problem went away! In your coaches...don't know where it might be! If it was up to me, I would have the splliter behind the monitor!

Roland, when you leave RV Park, turn right and go the length of the Island, you'll have to pay $4 at the bridge, but is a nice scenic hwy, when you get to surfside take a right over the Intracostal Bridge and go to the first light, about 4+ miles, turn left and follow road around, until you get to Hwy 36, turn right and stay on 36 about 25 miles, then turn left on Hwy 521. You can stay on it all the way to Hwy 35 or you can turn off at the Bay City rd. and it will take you to Hwy 35, then turn left. IMHO, I would stay on 521 until it merges into 35! Interesting drive & if the little cafe, say's Sea Food, or Cat fish, it will be good eat's. Little Rustic, but good. Where the trucks are parked, guaranteed. When in Galveston. Try Shrimp & Stuff and Press Box for Lunch. Dinner, Salt Grass, Fish Tales, Fisherman Warf, Guido's, Landry's or fish taco at Salsa! Mario's has great Italian...they also have a Lunch Buffet, Galves Hotel, has a Sunday Brunch to die for, make a Reservation!

Wayne, like me! It will happen. I suspect, I'll be on a couple of them in Canada, this Summer!

Roland, do you have a water pressure gauge built in?
-
I run 2, the front zone & rear zone, on 50 or 30, except when it's over 90 and humid, then I run middle zone...for that, you need 50 amp! You get 45 A on each leg, that's usable! So, when on 30A figure 27 usable!
-
Wonder what happens if you get it on your fingers? The guy pictured was not using gloves.

Ian. Happy New Year! I'm happy for the correction! Forgot about exchange rate...now I feel better. Since I can run, without stress, a easy 1,000 miles between fill ups, I figure 3 in Canada! The 2 big ticket items on this tour is the Ferry's...close to $3,000 for my rig & toad. Pre paid as part of Tour cost. Linda is taking notes on RV Parks, in case we come back on our own, in a big rig! Bill, my card is Credit/Debit, I never use pin#'s and the card adjust's for exchange rate in any money, be it Euros, Dollars or Yen! I don't have to call anyone! All currency, changes daily, some will change while your buying it. Do check with your, Coach Insurance and Health Insurance. Leave your bar at home.
