Bet that cost more than $7.99 for a bottle of Slick Mist. One bottle does coach & Jeep, 2 times!

They also are the one's that will take your lug caps & center cap off your wheels, thinking they can make $$$. $38 for the set, but a nuisance!! Twice, in 2 weeks! -
On every coach with a generator, that I have ever owned, it says in the owners manual, that after you start the generator, let it warm up for 2 minutes (longer in cold weather), before putting a 25% load on! Then gradually increase load to full. My 10 kw does it automatically...same with my 18 kw at the beach house! Also, turn off heavy draw units, like AC and wait 2 minutes, before turning unit off. The above is for both Gas, Diesel or Propane! Is your's a one or two stage unit? My 10 is one stage, the 18 is 2.

Wayne, that's what I have.

Richard. In the past 16 hours, you have had a lot of input, from folks that know far more than me...I guess it was stuff that you already knew!

Roland...the Wrangler has it now also, electric steering! I was thinking about getting a new Rubicon Limited...think I'll pass on that.

Blue Beacon is nation wide, at large Truck stops like Pilot, Flying J, Petro. When I used to wash coach, I used them...just get in line and pull in, like a car wash. For my 45 foot and Toad, it's $63 for wash & wax! I use Slick Mist by Lucas...get it at Wall Mart and most Auto Stores...spray on, wipe off with micro cloth! Other than what I get from rain, have not washed coach in 4 years now!

Per Ford, Ram, Chevy and GMC. The most common mistake made, is by people who have aux fuel tanks, is to put the DEF in the aux tank by mistake! Since the aux tank is not used as much as the main tank, it can be easily overlooked. Per the Internet... -

If I remember correctly, Pilot had this same problem about 2 years ago...massive law suit by truckers & truck companies! D Benoit, separate tanks! FIVE. Just make sure it's not over 3 months old...DEF has a 90 day life! -
Warranty, start at purchase. As long as it's a new unit, don't matter what year it is!

2500 Allison and no full throttle downshift - at times
manholt replied to elizabethmeyer's topic in Chassis
Good point, Kay! Mind is set on 2 components, forgetting other's! If that is not the problem, then I would suggest to Allison, drop and replace my transmission! Time is expensive and irreplaceable! -
I have beefed up stabilizers on mine and now running 3" lift with 35"x12.5"xR20 Nittos...no wobble at any speed, towed or driven! Like Joe, I send mine to alignment shop in Austin, Texas, every year! Have read that the 2018 & 19, has all kinds of issues, including separation of body from frame and separation of rear axle from frame! While out four wheeling!

Are they original sensor or after market...what brand? #2 could mean passenger side or dual tire or in line! What does the screen show, mine are on the Silverleaf and has a map for each tire/sensor.

Diagnostic is not cheap! I think Steve knows what happened, but does not want to commit. If it happens again, then head to Cummings! You might want to have the pump looked at, when you get back! Did you fill up the coach with fuel & add a Biocide? Peace of mind, while sipping a Mai Tai on the beach!

Norcold Refrigerator Lawsuit Settlement
manholt replied to blakeloke's topic in Systems and Appliances
What surprises me, is that a high dollar new coach, still use No Cold and a residential frig is an option on a $600K unit. -
We have one like it in the main and secondary pump house! Solar panel maintains the batteries. Got it at Home Depot in the Garden section.

Has the Cummings Tech, plugged into the engine or transmission with their portable program yet? Has anybody, done anything yet and what have they found? -
Welcome! In the upper right corner of this page, is a Search Box...write in Electric Step or Troubleshoot ES. There is an extensive post in 2014/15 on Lipper Step! You do need to keep the hinges lubed and clean...I do it every month and use a dry spray lube. Anytime you work on the step, STAY AWAY FROM IT'S PATH OF TRAVEL...It will hurt you badly!
