  1. Good point. But other than Memorial weekend & The Great Pumpkin, I can't think of anything else in Sept or Oct. Local Fairs abound, and football games!
  2. Sorry Ernie, I can not tell and I know where it is! Great work!!!
  3. johnBC. Welcome to the Forum! Did you notice, the last response from poster, was a year ago?
  4. Splashman. Welcome to the Forum! I'm guessing that you have a Norcold 1200? If so, you should have gone for a residential unit $2,800 dollars ago! No Colds problem started in 1996 and has not gotten any better since, numerous law suits and fires caused by them! Why don't you want a residential electric fridge?
  5. I had a couple parked beside me in June, they had Toyos on a 2009 AC Eagle 42 foot. They loved them...just returned from spending Summer, Winter here, in Chili...that was their second r/t on the tires! We where in Ruidoso, NM. They where from Calgary, Canada.

    Tire inflation

Agree with WBill. Joe S. Koni by Renegade, has dual on tag & drive! Next year, you'll have your choice of current set up, or single drive & tag! Prevost by Volvo is considering the same!
  7. We all have our own reason's, of where and why we fuel up. I go for 5% or less BIO, along with lower price, ease of in/out. Not looking for restroom, food or a shower! In regards to "good quality fuel", 99.9% of the stations have that today...30, 40, 50 years ago, it was different. I'm not brand oriented. The big fuel stops, like PFJ, Loves, Petro, have a high turnover and get their fuel from various refineries! What you don't know, is when it was refined and how long, has it been stored, since being refined & delivered. There is a small refinery in Three Rivers, TX. that supply Loves and PFJ in south TX., but not the Pilot that is 2 miles away!
  8. Why pay for H/U, if your not going to use it? That's lousy money management.
  9. If you have not done it. I would call Tiffin Tech in Red Bay, AL. There is also a Allegro owners Forum! Bet others have had this issue.
  10. Mid entry, is it a 2004 or 5? 40' or 45'. FIVE. Ditto! 🤣
  11. You can take any secondary road you want. In Texas, you'll find that most County Roads are paved and all Farm to Market roads are 75 mph. Since you have a toad, CA. is 55 mph! That gets real old, real fast. If your on I-10 East of Barstow, take as much of Hwy 66 as you can! Are you planning to take the Coastal Hwy from Washington down?
  12. My Beach house was built in 2006 and I have 3,770 sq. feet of that crud...I'm the 2nd owner, bought it Feb. 2007. Had it spray painted a light tan, match walls, most people don't notice it.
  13. Maddie8511. Welcome to the Forum! Ohio to Seattle, I would make my reservation day by day. Coastal from OR thru CA, I would make reservations at least 2 weeks out, especially the further south you get, in CA. What Southern route? You did not say. I try to avoid Interstate hwy's as much as possible! US & State Hwy's are, for the most part, fine! What is the make, model & length of your coach? I have my info under my signature! Carl
  14. FIVE. You might be right, never tried it. As for fog, rain & dark, I'm not a happy camper, when that happens in coach. I still have to H/U & get wet. There are drawback's on both! In a full time situation, we would want our toys with us & that means a Stacker trailer. In a 5'er, you would need 2 trucks. Since we have a beach house and 3 ranches between us, I don't think full time is in the cards!
  15. We do ceilings for friends also! You know we cook... Sulfur powder, long pants, boots and long sleeve shirt. Twice a year, but not too bad in fall. All clothing hits the wash after and a soapy hot shower! You'll be fine! You'll also smell nicer... Love bugs: Not many in Hill Country, now Galveston is a different thing, both in May & October...we also get the swarm of sugar bees in East TX. around April.
  16. Last time, I used a RV fueling lane, was at a casino. Cars would not let me out ! With the help of some employees, I finally made it...that was he last time, 4 years ago!
  17. OK. I saw a Landmark at Six State Rally...Big 5'er with 5 slides! So, I looked it up and that's a nice looking RV. If I ever go full time (witch I doubt) I would get a 5'er! Much more room and bang for the buck!
  18. It was hash browns, ham, bacon, diced onion, diced green bell & Jalapeno peppers, 2 eggs over & gravy on top! Bill, NAPA has them! You done good.
  19. Have you called Newmar Tech? They may have one in stock. You can't be the only one!
  20. 1 should be block heather & I think, that is the the one that don't work, until you plug it in, in engine compartment.
  21. Your Prevost? Ditto on Brett.
  22. LSD & PCP, has been banned for a loooong time! I filled up at a Conoco Truck Stop today. $263.13 for 90.1 gallons/$2.919 a gallon! That was on Hwy. 59S service road, across the road was Flying J at $3.329 cash or $3.379 credit...don't know what you boys have been smoking! A little LSD?
  23. That Bill, explains a lot ! You need to show and tell, your Cardiologist. I'm doing a pork tenderloin and fresh asparagus in an hour, James is doing a spinach salad and wild rice, Linda made a key lime pie! For breakfast in the morning, I'll take a picture of the "Slop"! Then explain it. Our favorite place to eat out here!
