  1. Wayne, what size fridge you got...a 10 cu ft Nocold? I enjoy going inside, it's like a rest area, I get to move around. Besides, I only fill up every 700+ miles. Have gone over 1,000.
  2. Sorry! I missed the MI part. That said. We get heavy freeze and big storms in TX. so, we got a 22KW Generator for backup at the ranch and 18KW at Beach house, both run on LP...250 gal. each! Never can understand, why anyone who lives in extreme cold weather conditions, don't have the same!

    Lost bushings

Sorry, but I'll go with Brett and Bill on this one. I have never heard anybody complain about poly bushings, me included and I have them on mine!
  4. Even in freezing temps. I don't do anything to the AH, I'm on 50A., and I leave the electric switch on...keeps the AH with hot water!
  5. Yep! The same in 1978. My DW was from Lebanon, NH. Father in Law & Mother, from Boston! They educated me about Boston, from 1976 to 1988. A lot has changed since then!
  6. Motto for coach? Eva is from where? I know Eva's from Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Germany!
  7. Samsung, LG, Maytag and several others, are Chinese owned now. Parts and service must be obtained via the Holding Company Headquarters in China! I got the info from internet, Linda had a Maytag washer that broke and could not get parts to fix it. After several attempts, we gave up...it's now sitting in the back 40! We replaced it with a GE.
  8. Hope he's on the road out of there!
  9. 1978GMC. Welcome to the Forum! Wow! You did a great job on that coach...rode in one, back in 1984. Best ride then and now! 🤩
  10. Kay, stay safe! The future don't look good, for the Gulf of Mexico either!
  11. Sorry, currently a Michelin user, but both Toyos and Continental, is on my short list. From the response so far, no Cooper!
  12. Kay is in GA? I thought he was home in Birmingham, AL. area! I-20.
  13. When you leave, head for Salem, get on I-40 and head for Memphis! You need high ground and I would get one or 2 starter batteries, fully charged and take them with you...campgrounds are going to fill up fast...you let this go to long and now you need to put as much distance as you can, between you and coast...if your 3 hours now, you need at least 10 or 500 miles! Good luck!
  14. Wayne. $360 is a dozen "Prime Beef" Rib Eye's! Or 4 nights of R & R & GS in a nice campground.
  15. Where exactly are you located? How far from coast?
  16. Update. I had the coach at John's garage yesterday. One's I was level on Jacks, not air, the slide went in/out/in, no problem. It does need a fix to get the floor bow out. It's bowed in the middle of slide length, reason is the fridge is leaning forward and there is a center wall that is a brace for the oversize 16' 6" slide! The coach is going back to John Oct. 12. Estimated fix is 2 days and $700+/- $100. TCC was 6 to 8 weeks out and estimate was extensive renovation & $2,000+. MH of Texas, was 8 weeks out & cost unknown! The slide has 5, 4" rollers now and will have another 10" roller under fridge and replace the wood that has the bow in it. Fridge will be blocked, so it will not lean forward. John has 21 VIP Prevost Limo bus's and have done the conversion in house...they range from 2004-2016 & sleep 4 to 16!
  17. Kay, the mans got a point. 😂
  18. dennisandeva. Welcome to the Forum! What's your RV choice?
  19. Kay, I feel your pain! The reason I moved my Cigarette boats from Galveston Island to Clear Lake, TX. was fuel. The HOA decided that it was unsafe to fill inboards at the fuel dock...5 blocks from my dock! 🤬 When I built my first house, there was no HOA. They caused 2 things to happen, 17 boats left and the owner shut down the fuel dock! Still is.
  20. PUT the D...battery charger on the chassis battery and go first thing in the morning! If you don't, you will be evacuated....coach may or may not be there, when you get back! Your decision...
  21. Rummer has it, that the EPA will discontinue mandatory DEF....Seems that the exhaust is killing trees! Have not been able to confirm.
  22. Well, all I know, is that Flying J/Pilot headquarters is in Knoxville, Tenn...also, where the CEO & Owner lives! A family buss. Jimmy Haslam! Interesting read.
  23. Richard, the odds are good, that the Auto shops in his current area (Carolina) is closed due to a Major Cat 4 hurricane! bburns8, Do you have a fuel place nearby? Go fill up coach and fill up water, get what food you need and head South West, NOW! Your house batteries don't have anything to do with you driving the coach....Crank up and go! Don't be a statistic... The further South you get, the further you'll be from the "Dirty" side of Florence!
  24. I think Byron has stock in Flying J. Wonder what he uses, when there is no Flying J or other name brands around? Such as most mountain area's of Colorado!
