  1. Since all the corrosion needs to come off, why not remove the valve first, then work on the top of valve? It may not even need to come off, unless you have a drawing of the inner parts of the valve! In the picture, it looks to me that the valve and tank fitting are 2 separate parts. IMHO
  2. Jeff. Understood. As you can see, we don't get much activity in the C class, unless it's the MB Sprinter! I see no reason why you can't, as long as it does not exceed the weight as noted in the Born Free manual/chassis. I'm confused. There is a Jeep Cherokee and a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (4 door Wrangler), but have never heard/seen a "Jeep Cherokee Wrangler Unlimited"!!! Do you have a photo?
  3. The seats that I put in my Tour, I could adjust the air and I never had any of Joe's symptoms...Not cheap, around $1,800 each installed. Suspect it's more now.
  4. I'm in NE Texas, 72 rain, thunder, high wind. Tonight the same, but 50...Tomorrow, same. High temperature 54/32. All going NE ! Any questions? We moved grass twice this year, between freeze's!
  5. RayIN. Thank you for the update! Carl
  6. Jeff. Welcome! Click on Towing-Toads behind motor homes. You can click on about 5 questions, pertaining to pros/cons of Edge! Carl
  7. Roland. With no records...I would take the $3,000 plunge! Go thru your CAT manual recommendation of service for 60K to 80K, check off anything that you have a record off & get the rest done! Same with Allison. When was the last time you had the brakes and bearings looked at?
  8. Roland. Yes, they where in stock and they installed them! I had the old (2 years) sent by truck to a friend in Galveston, told him, they where being installed later on my lower boat dock! He did it while I was gone...great for fishing!
  9. In ref: Generator, have you checked to see if the on/off switch, on generator(it's a circuit breaker) is on? How about Inverter, it also has it's own, on/off. Look at all battery connection and clean of any corrosion (green),check for a good clean ground wires and any loose wires!

    Another Bad Pet Story

Kay. Don't set the bag on fire...throw it in the truck or SUV! That way, they have a wonderful aroma from a hot car/poop on the long way home! I would put a note in it..."Remember me"?
  11. The only problem with both of those videos....you can come close to replicate a black tank in motion, but no cigar as far as I'm concerned. Bill, I and others have used ice/some water/soap and calgon, then emptied out tank at next campground...it works! In a Plexiglas box, in the trunk of a car, with no water/soap or calgon....off course it won't work! They make $$$ by disproving something! I can't stand people that want to prove a point, by taking it out of context.

    Atwood Levelegs

You do know that this post is 18+ month, since last answer?
  13. I hope it did not rain! I would not be any where near that plug...
  14. Roland. I replaced both at a Freightliner Shop in Kansas City, on a WB 2007 Tour, 40KD...WOW, what a difference air seats made!
  15. Probably some one in Kalifornia or PA.! Since Joe L. took the photo, that eliminates KA. Even they have enough sense not to be in the NE during winter!
  16. Thomas. Went from Franklin to Ashville, 2 years ago. No problem and good road for my 45 footer + Toad. Just take it easy on some corners, we are not a roadster!
  17. Gary. Welcome to the Forum! Call Fleetwood (REV Group) Tech Dept. They have the information you seek and should be able to email you the fuse description!
  18. Tim. Nice to learn something new, great idea! I would still use some Dawn and Calgon in tank! I have a built in San-e-Flush and use it...by filling the bowl with Dawn & Bromide, every other time I hook up water to it, really keeps both gray and black tank clean! My toilet is a electric flush macerator kind, so I have no way to look into tank!
  19. Brian. Welcome to FMCA & Forum! Very nice 06', wish you and DW lot's of good, fun, memories, in the years to come!
  20. One gallon hot water and half a cup of liquid Calgon flushed into toilet once a month! Works. In your case follow Kay's recipe!!!
  21. If you do need a low flow pressure washer, try Granger Tools internet or there might be a store near you, Low's, Home Depot or Tractor Supply. I have a 200-1,000 psi that I got from Low's, also a big 2,000-7,000.
  22. Roland. Take a look at Air seat for your DW. It acts like a hydraulic and does not move with the coach or give her the "Bump feedback", like a regular co pilot seat.
  23. Roland. Good choice! You'll be happy and so will your DW...that's all that really matters! Carl
