alfa wiring 2002 Alfa, See Ya, wiring, electronic systems
manholt replied to MissAdventurer's topic in Type A motorhomes
MissAdventurer. Welcome to the Forum! There is a Chapter (Club) on the Internet with just Alfa owners, I believe FMCA also has one! You can also call Fleetwood Tech Department for help. I suspect some motherboards need to be reset....However, it would help us if you could tell us, what does not work?- 25 replies

Spullon & WBill. I checked and only found it on RVTrader. There is a whole page on the Internet, with places that have concepts for sale $24,000 to $44,000 !

dtl9900. Welcome to the Forum! The way it works, is that you find the Truck Tire Michelin dealer in your area. Explain that your a FMCA member and what size tire/tires you need...get the earliest DOT number possible. Then call FMCA and let them know who the dealer is. If you just need a quote, you need to get that also from a dealer with the fleet price. Carl C.

Jim S. We are under a Red Flag Warning for all day today...same wind as you had, gusts to 40+! We are delivering Linda's coach to TCC this morning for body work and paint...she backed into her own iron post (I cut it down) for $4,800 in damages! Quote "I forgot it was there & I installed it"!

Rhino Flex barbed end has come apart at swivel connection

Jim S. I know, I remember! Just wondered if the new coach was going to be the same model. Carl -
MB Sprinter Van, makes a 4x4, so does Ford E-Series, Chevy Van, GN Van and Nissan! All, towable...Not cheap! If you enter Remco, you will still get Remco!

I used Superior Tire in Eugene...great folks and they get to do it all again in 2019...Unless, I have a New Coach by then!

Lyle. Is the new coach, the same 4369 Dutch Star? Hope you post some photo's, when you get it... -
Richard, Very nice to see. All 3 cookie cutter coaches that I had, from 73' to 83', had almost the same interior as yours. The only difference, was a back bath and a little change in front, since they where gassers! Custom Coach is a chapter of FMCA. Herman's friend, who makes M&G brakes for toads, in Athens, Texas, is a Charter Member! There are also the Bus Nut's Chapter!

Yeah, with the wind gusting to 40, you can sit back and watch the birds fly backwards! Or go by the golf course and improve your vocabulary, in several languages!
-
Wayne, there's no fun in that...Golf improves your balance, stamina and vocabulary!

Spullon. Welcome! I have no first hand knowledge of the Concept, other than CC built it to compete with Prevost, from 80's to 2005. 40 foot, 500hp and most are in the $40,000 range today! RV Trader has them for sale. Also others, that also carry Prevost. Carl C.

Dan. The only one's that are difficult to find, are the one's you need at any given time!
-
Jim, how long will you be in the area? Perhaps you could meet up with Roland for a day...The 2 of you are very much alike!
-
Wayne. Herman was referring to older units, not the once that have come out today. There has been a lot of changes made over the past 30+ years, mostly positive! My first coach was a 1967 Winnebago Class A, new..$8,300. Compared to the insulation of today, I would not even want to step back into a 67'! Same applies to all Class coaches, including yours...the first Class C or modified C and today's, are 2 different animals. So, please do not take it as a personal attack...

Also, remember, I had a coach that the inverter was located under the boot dinette seat !
-
Both of mine are like Herman's!
-
Keith. When you come up to the lower 48 in May, have you thought about coming to the FMCA Convention in Gillette, Wyoming? We have a Forum Meet & Greet, we get a visual to the shadows on the Forum! The first time I meet Herman, he looked nothing like his Avatar, no black hat or shades! Since I have been down under on many occasions, would like to meet you in person! Where are you at? Carl C.

AC. I bought my 8 Michelin tires in Oregon 2014, Fleet price, plus FET...No tax in OR.

Where is the fuse for the water pump.
manholt replied to wildebill308's topic in Systems and Appliances
I have a in line at pump and a stab in under bed, in a box that also has the stab in's for all my pad lights! (10' Fleetwood, American Coach, Tradition)! -
Keith. I had my generator serviced 2 weeks ago. Same thing, it ran, showed 45A on each leg, nothing came on...got it run out on the slide and found the CB had been turned off, as soon as I flipped it on, everything came on! Call your brother, save a trip and stop the worry!
-
Roland, yes. However, if I may suggest, since you just plan to drive in and out. Wait until you leave Alpine and take the road to BBNP and go thru park to Marathon in your coach! Durring your stay in Alpine, take a day trip to Mt. Davis and the Observatory...another evening trip to Marfa, you may see the famous, unexplained Marfa lights!
-
Skyking. I would not buy the new JL Wrangler...push button start...you may have the same issue as the other warblers!

82/sun/ light wind yesterday. Wind is 20 today, with partly cloudy and 84...Think (hope & pray) winter is gone in Texas, or at least my part of it.
