Mark, there are many reasons, why I have had Class A's since 1967! There is only one reason why I don't have a B or a regular C....I'm 6 foot 8 inches tall and at 74+, I refuse to stoop over! -

We travel in 2 Class A, DP's about 5 months + a year! Linda has a 2006 Phaethon 40 foot, 350 Cat...her hobby is rock collecting and making jewelry (heavy stuff)! Between us, we have 4 homes and I'm putting both of mine on the market this month...we have no mortgages on anything, we just enjoy our travels. Linda has 2 small ranches, so we will enjoy the wildlife in Burnet, TX (only one acre to move around house, the rest we take the tractors and bat wings too, once a year) and Tree Rivers, TX. I will still have the 5 sections in Nevada and 2 sections in West Texas. Medicare and Blue Cross takes care of our health here and a Universal Policy takes care of us when we are in other parts of the world. Linda and I travel with folks who are not into "Beat out the Joneses"! We all enjoy camping and traveling...yes we hit the road with all types of RV's and income levels, no stress!

Wayne. You got my Vote! I hear that kind of talk in campgrounds all the time...poor little doggie! At the last CG before getting home 10 days ago, I went and told all the owners of small and medium dogs, who was not on a leash that if they came around our dog and got chewed up, I would sue them...I explained to them, that in Texas we have a State leash law and my dog would suffer a guilt trip, anxiety and confusion, because she was not allowed to roam free, but your dogs are! We where at the KOA in Mount Pleasant, TX.! They all got the hint or maybe they figured that I was nuts enough to do it.

DD. Interesting hobby you have! Mine is collecting old, high end watches...every 2 years now, I sell one. Mostly to Christy's Auction House...supplements Social Security entitlement.

Looked up the new owners of Roadtreck today...Hymer Group...Did not know that Roadtreck is a Canadian Company, did know that Hymer is German and has been in the RV business since 1956. The Hymer would be a perfect Toad, Fiat chassis and gas or MB diesel. I would chose the gas version! (Dodge engine), serviced anywhere! -

Well said. We have a 16 year old Rat Terrier and a 14 year old Lab mix, the Lab was a rescue dog and now has come to accept people and most other dogs...Linda trained it for 3 years and I for a year now. I have never said a loud word to her, she was beaten and miss treated by a man, so it took her a year to get used to me!

Have had one diesel car in my life...MB, POS after 12K miles! 3 Silverado Duramax and one Ford F 350 diesel...all great !

Yeah. From the old school and it worked. Now, we have the new and improve POS stuff, that streaks every 5 years, no matter how much wax you throw at it !

I have found that a small dogs is more aggressive than large ones, and most owners of small ones, just laugh it off ! Go figure.

The "old geezer" pass will be $80 in October 2017. Now, still $10 and covers all National Parks, Forest and BLM.

Ice, snow, mud, grass and sand, I leave to my toad. Last time Bill saw snow & ice, was near Grand Canyon after Chandler, AZ Rally! I was there also, but in the Jeep.
