Rick. Just read the comments to Linda...she's cracking up! Herman. She said, she put Patches in the box 1 time as a pup! No, she did not threaten her with a rubber mallet !
-
John. Doesn't matter...very old, baggy cloths that I drive in! Smell? About like my hands, before I was them. Any type of fuel, to me, smells like money!
-
Bill. Triple R is a FMCA Chapter, if they are at a Rally with other FMCA members...of course they will invite folks in...Lone Stare and all the others do the same! We all look "Scruffy" at a big Rally! Keon. I think some one or a group of folks, will make personal gain, if we open to all RV's...only explanation that makes any kind of sense! How or Why? I don't know!!!

Foot of the bed...no cat ! Used at night by a dog! She's a 15 year old Rat-Terrier, trained by my Girl Friend ! The Lab holds it at night.

Carla.. Agree with that sentiment...me and mine are more Valuable than stretching the envelope! 7 years is max for me!

Why No Kitchen Oven in Late Model Diesel Pushers?

Byron. Different strokes! -
FIVE. I place mine in my pocket, uncomfortable enough, so I don't forget to replace it ! As to the drilling a small hole, take the cap to your work bench and drill away, a squirt of compressed air will get rid of any cuttings....mine is plastic and metal and not solid. Newer mind Herman. I understood you!

Mine is all electric and have run it on 30A and been very comfortable. As BillA and Herman noted, you learn to be selective at times and yes, kick in generator if your needs arise! Aqua Hot on electric is cheap, on diesel it burns .32 gallons of fuel per hour...but, then if you can afford a new DP, your not concerned about $15 bucks extra...propane also cost $$$.

Isaaac1. Glad you chimed in...your points are appreciated and well thought out. Bill. The odds of anyone, thinking that you don't belong to FMCA, at a FMCA rally is Slim and None! Just like at a GS rally..., Have never had anyone try to recruit me. Ross. X3 Herman. Point taken! Is that also in ref to Article 2 ? Carl

Agree...I carry one, even though I have a Progressive built in...Like Bill said, plug in to post and see what you got before plugging in coach.

Yea, all 700+/- miles of Gulf Coast in Texas...personally, the water is a lot clearer in Alabama Shores to Marcos Island, FL. Also, the key's is all part of the Gulf of Mexico! Hope she and I will have good weather in England...I'll be in Norway and Sweden, the last 2 weeks in July!

3 year old tires! You got another 3 years left, before you got to keep a sharp eye out for cracks in sidewalls! Why keep a used tire?

Rich. I have Re-generation on my coach, Dec 09 chassis and 425 Cummins. It only affects the exhaust temperature and turbo (don't know why on turbo) but exhaust goes from normal 480-560 (depending on time of year ambient temp) to over 1,200 for 12 t0 15 minuets! My guess on OP's problem is a small overflow for coolant and a second thermostat that was not changed out.

Yep, noticed that myself. It's a changing evolution, that we don't need to mess with! Said it before, we have not had a noticeable decline in revenue, in the past 4 years and what part of a "Not for Profit, Tax Free Corporation" , don't you get? So, why does FMCA feel it has to make more money? It only then means, they have to spend more money! It's got to balance out, if we are to remain "Not for Profit"! I guess, we'll never know the real reason. for the proposed change! Carl

Joe. It's a wonder?
-
You don't. Key on=power for lights on toad, key off=no power. As DD said, you need a separate wire for a lift, normal operation is off a 12V battery!
-
Herman. DOT on inside off tires...I run across that often, including 3 of mine! I know where you where, why would you not be looking at tag coaches'?
-
Bill. Is that Quote for Car Tires or Truck Tires? I don't run car tires! I will not go against a professional opinion. Don't forget the Liability rule and Disclaimers!
-
So, you put on 3,000 miles since you bought coach? CAT never looked at it. Is your mechanic a Certified Diesel or gas mechanic? Just what was done at the time of Service?

Don. Bill has a reading problem. unless it's on the computer, it must be wrong!

Air Force 1 vs Roadmaster Brakemaster Systems
manholt replied to punxsyjumper's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
Since we are in the digital age, and have been for some time, you don't need a switch to turn off mileage.
