Thanks...I have a vivid imagination in color! Just the thing I needed this am... Wayne. Last time I changed all 8 tires in 14, I walked around and they used a torque wrench, took longer and about an hour of labor, but I felt real good when I rolled out ! I will definitely go all the way to OR. again and use Superior Tire. Carl

As the MCI link said, this is the way to do it...unfortunately, that's not what's going to happen 90% of the time! Carl

Great. Good to know...I'm sure someone will be looking around the Forum, looking to improve their rate of climb in a gas engine & $500 is a lot cheaper than Banks! Thanks for posting. Carl

Brett, I suspect some (2) go back to 01...scary! Dry rot, is way beyond cracks in side wall. Carl
-
Kay, short and informative! Lots of weight and inertia riding on those wheels...Thank You! Carl

Rich. Me also! I have no issue with the, why and where, on Joe's modification, but now I'm totally lost. gglenn. I understand what you have done, just not the why? Since even you're in doubt, why have you not taken the coach to Cummins, to verify if you are a CAPS II ? I also, wonder about the higher, way higher psi... Carl

FIVE. My coach was the first 2010, Tradition off the line, also the first 45 foot built...it's got every option built in, from Eagle and Heritage...same coach that was in the Catalogue! That's why it's a bear to work on, I have 3 different option manuals! Nice coach, but...overkill. Carl

We do, this whole post should have been under Electrical or Slideout....you should scroll down some more and see what's on the front page of the Forum! Carl

Herman. Your coach GVWR is? I'm around 10K more and 5' longer, + 9K in cargo! I dump most of air, then level...never need a portable step! As I said, I have 2 switches for my pre heat...I don't have to leave the warm coach and freeze my a*** off, plugging in and switching over 2 times! Carl

FIVE. I have no plug back there with the GFCI, other than the 50A...mine has two switches, one in closet and one on my Magnum control panel (Aqua hot diesel, Aqua hot electric and pre heat)...I have used it once. Herman, I'll send you a photo. Since I'm taking photos of the other side also, I blew a HP hose for my Jacks Wed. and have to replace it today! My next coach will be air level only, that's all I use anyway...used the jacks twice in 3 years! Carl

I'm glad you got the issue resolved. Thank you for the feed back and links! There will be an OP by years end with your problem... Carl

Interesting thought, but I have a feeling that a Tour Bus comes in at the same or more weight as we do! You got a half bath, fresh and black tank, big comfy adjustable seats, people and their luggage, Over the Road AC/Heat, all on a Prevost (most of the time in US). That chassis and engine is no light weight...as too all that vs mine? In some perverse way, it would be worth while to trade my tires in, because of tread wear, after 3-4 years! Instead of some cracks in sidewall, after 6-7 years! When was the last time, if any, that you passed a Newell or Converted Prevost on the freeway? Only time's for me, is when they enter or exit ! I love KISS! Like trouble shooting, it seems that most times, the answer to the problem is the last item on the list...good place to start. Carl

jbrunson. My wheels have never come off yet...49 years! Only ones I changed out was 16" and a couple of 19.5's...all the rest, since 1980's was done by a shop! Even Truck Mobil, use an Impact. Being precise is something that we tend to go overboard with, just my thought. Carl

Even better if you have the serial number off yours...can be hard to read, if it is, spray some graphite on the numbers and lay a piece of white paper over it and rub...number transfer... Wayne knows that, just forgetful at times!
-
Wayne. I'm happy, your happy, but I would not want us to be too happy...they might lock us both up! Carl

Jim, that's a brand that I know nothing about. I currently run Michelins, replaced them in 8/14 by Superior Tire in Oregon, no tax, got to love that ! I carry a lot more weight than you do and drive an avg of 14, 000 miles a year! Back in the 70's I used Cooper tires, and in the 80's it was 19,5" Kelly's...ever since that I've had 22.5's I have run Michelins...mostly because of availability! That all started to change in 2014 about the time I got my last set of 8...I have 315x80x22.5 on steering and 295's on rest. I probably wont have to do that again, as I'm fondly looking at Marathon and Newell. That's why you see old geezers rolling down the road in high dollar sports cars...it's a need, for one more time, then we hang up the keys! Carl

Chad. Have never heard a negative and know folks that have them. I run NITTO'S on my Jeep, Import and like them better than Baja's...2nd set. Just make sure they fit your rims and have the same carry capacity...there are some posts, under tires..2014 & 15 or you can enter Toyo under Search at top of main page. Carl

Don't know why I didn't notice this before, but found another GFCI today. It's right next to where the power cord plugs in to coach...it was tripped, pushed it in and now I have no blinking lights in coach again! My 50A cord comes out and retracts by an electric motor into and from a bucket, the other end is permanently plugged into the surge protector...makes it easy to replace cord, I have a new 50 foot, 50A in La., that I will put in before AZ. in Feb. The current cord is 30 foot...bucket is half full. Carl

Stenzhorn. Welcome to the forum! Catch 22 answer is that it will cost you $400 to file small claims at the clerks office, then you need to wait until your notified by the clerk as to when to be at court...don't know what your time is worth, but I would get the harness and get in touch with FMCA, they have been on top of this problem since the beginning! Carl

Carl. I don't know what a 329 code is, but I would either call Cummins or go to a Cummins, ASAP!

Hobart. Nice to get more than one feed back! I really don't remember if I got off gas or not, I do know that I kept my foot off the brake until I had control and clear vision of traffic, before heading for shoulder! Thankfully, nock on wood, I have not had one on a 22.5", all the others where on 19.5" and most on pre radial tires! Carl

Ray. Nice to hear from you! I suspect your correct... Carl C.
