  1. Tracey. Have you checked to see, if in fact they did change the water filter? Why did you replace the water pump? Carl
  2. Don't forget the ACME Oyster House on Bourbon St. across ally from Bennigans....great shrimp stew! Can only speak for myself, but I'm happy to give you all the time and whatever advise you wish for...anytime! Carl
  3. Ernie. Did you get another Bird? Bernie, if you get to Texas, take it to PPL and sell on consignment or look at their units and trade. Carl
  4. BillA. Generator problem and long trip/camp grounds was the OP...now in a holding pattern! Carl
  5. Congrates on the twins! Given a choice between the 2 systems, I'll take AH. I have never run a tank of diesel down that far on my AH, the few times that I have needed the system for a long period of time, I check my fuel level each week, Since it heats my coach and my water for showers, laundry and dishes, I never take anything for granted. It's a lot easier to go find a gas station in the middle of the night and weekends, than propane! Carl
  6. Bill. Happy belated everything! Where have you been? Thought you fell of the edge of our planet... have not heard from you since the Chili Cook Off in PA. this past summer! Carl
  7. Ray. We have been lucky the last 7 months, they have all found a bolt to hang on! Carl
  8. Brett, Kay. That's some pretty neat stuff, thanks for the link....I have a unglazed tile and it's a bear to keep clean! Carl
  9. Mine are all accounted for! Except for some folks I know...
  10. Welcome! I have had Brake master, nothing wrong with them except having to remove from brake petal before use of toad. I have had the Invisi brake and it worked OK, but my foot kept running into cable each time I drove toad, then last year, at Perry, GA. FMCA rally, I had the M&G installed. I'm very satisfied with this system and the ease of hook up or un hook is so nice. No effort and very durable, have had to make no adjustment to it and I really abuse my toad in the Mountains of NM and Colorado! Highly recommend it. Carl
  11. I have screws that I occasionally find, have no clue where they came from...in coach? Yes!, but where?
  12. Apart from the generator. How has the coach behaved on this long trip? Also, how is Hana doing? Carl
  13. Keon. Since you take regular gas, any station off the Freeway will accommodate you...I'm the one who has problems due to size. SC does seem to have the best price! I can't help you on BBQ, not my favorite meal. Palmetto RV Park, just North of GA, boarder, off I-95 is good and there is a large gas station there. Have fun! Carl
  14. Wayne. I know. I'm surprised your coach did not come with one, my 07 did. It is a great thing to have, I leave mine on manual while traveling and then switch to auto in campground. It came on 1 time in Florida, while we was out looking at Alligators...Lucky loved them, she would just sit and look! Crazy. Was told on our return that the parks transformer blew and there was no juice for 4 hours! Carl
  15. Herman. Thanks, I needed that as a reminder of why we live in Texas! LOL Joe. After 49 years off motor homes, can't agree with you more! Someone dropped the ball....again! I'm more interested in knowing if it's a C9 or C9S engine? Due to the mileage, I'm guessing C9. As BillAdams said, have the inspection done first...(Joe, your backyard). Carl
  16. ck. Thanks for information. I do remember the Sportscoach and it's been a long time since I last saw one of the originals! I have had Class "A's", gas/diesel since 1967. What threw me also, was ref to something that has happened and won't happen again until next year! Carl
  17. Tarheel. Just right click on his ghost image and it will say message, click on that. I hope his is not a C9S engine! Carl
  18. I fully understand that part, but I did not pick up on that question from OP, after re reading his concern, I can now relate...sorry, my bad. I do wish we knew how long it's been there? 3 or 4 months is no problem, several folks who live up North, leave their DP's sitting outside thru winter. Year after year! Ask JLeamont, he's in PA. ObedB is also in PA. Carl
  19. Question. I'm not as bright as I used to be, but what does SOI stand for? Carl
  20. The front is now moving and you should be good by Monday! Carl

    Tire Recommendation

That's a good thought, Brett. Joe, you may want to go with the 315 up front, I found it to be a smother ride, besides that it's getting difficult to find new 295's! Wish I had done all of mine at 315 in OR. instead of 6, 295's and 2, 315's! I only got all, because OR has no Sales tax...that saved me a bundle! Carl
