The only conclusion I have is you walk past one no matter which way you go. The problem is when you get in there is when you remember you forgot to switch the pump on. I figured after 4 years if we didn't learn by now we weren't going to. That room needed some TLC anyway, wallpaper border was starting to peel and I'm going to refinish the wood near the toilet. The tile backsplash add on (another post) it will be refreshed.

Good to hear back from you!

Like a bank vault . As I said before they don't make them like the use to If the fluid film doesn't work this product is amazing, it's not just a rusty bolt penetrating oil, it actually bonds into the pores of the metals. http://www.pro1energy.com/products/rig-maintenance/xpl-101-penetrating-lubricant/

Carl and Linda are in for a treat this June . I'll have him laughing so much he'll pop capillaries

Fluid film is a good recommendation, too bad you are so far away, I have a can in my office at work, I'd give it to you. Herman, not sure...came that way and it works...what's yours look like?

Herman, glad to know I'm not the only one, I was starting to think this coach was miss built. Haha, I get the same from my DW, mine knocks on the windows and talks like I can understand, so I move my mouth with no sound until she gets mad and opens the window

Richard, I think you miss understood, here are two photos. My door jamb is sealed from the elements then there is another gasket to seal it from the interior. Perhaps you could retrofit something?

2000 Allegro Bay Electrical/Ignition Issue
jleamont replied to BILLYBAUDOIN's topic in Type A motorhomes
Billy, those in the photo look like the house solenoid and something else. My gas coach had two also, one was for the salesman switch in the doorway don't remember what the other one was for.... Ford always are round just like the photo, (unless replaced by someone) to be sure follow the battery cable on the starter up, it will be at the end of it. Since it was an incomplete chassis when Tiffin got it who knows where it ended up. Glad to help -
2000 Allegro Bay Electrical/Ignition Issue
jleamont replied to BILLYBAUDOIN's topic in Type A motorhomes
BILLYBAUDOIN, Welcome to the FMCA forums! How about this solenoid/relay? Was this replaced? The small terminal is from the ignition switch, sending power to starter (large cable lead). If you can duplicate it its easy to test with a 12v test light or volt meter. -
https://www.steelerubber.com/drip-rails Scroll through their catalogue, maybe something will pop out to seal the jamb.
-
Carl, I was just thinking the same thing, maybe a small channel above the door opening to move the water flow, or an overlapping door seal so when the door is closed it keeps the jamb dry? We have about an 1/8" rubber flap that is attached to the door, when its closed it covers the jamb.

It wouldn't work on Apple, which is odd as it was uploaded from an I-phone, works great on a PC.

Forgot about that one, I also have one in the wet bay and the main panel with the genset controls, which come to think of it doesn't have a problem either, just the one's on the hall sink circuit. It didn't make sense to have switches near every faucet except one which happened to be across from the toilet, of all places that is where one needed to be.
-
Herman, do you have a switch in the lavatory area on a Dynasty?
-
Brett, from the wiring diagram below and the photo above of my coach it looks like the same controller in your link. From the schematic below I believe I have a ground problem. Ill Call Monaco today and see where the ground is located for this specific portion of the circuit, check it and clean it.

Digging through an old photo I believe I located the water pump controller on the right side of the photo

Herman, just dawned on me...those lights breathe, and a few other stuff while changing colors or you can select one color. Same manufacturer Rick used for his underglow. Not sure if the video loaded, since I'm on mobile I can't tell.

Once I add the upper row against the LED strip it should transfer some of that through the tiles, plus there's no grout yet either. You ever want to tackle something that makes you wish you hadn't, grab a wire fish and pull wiring through an RV . The water pump was a huge pain, the lighting was fairly simple since the wiring runs the coach floor tunnel against the right wall along with Aqua Hot plumbing and electrical. I grabbed my 12v source from the old refrigerator circuit which is on the opposite side of the bathroom sink wall, just beyond the pocket door on the front side, the other sink is directly behind the toilet. If I had to cross sides of the coach I wouldn't have done it.

Installed lighting and some tiles this weekend IMG_4242.MOV

Thanks guys! Once I pull the coach from its winter home I will dig into this deeper. It's too close to the garage to open bay doors while in hibernation.

I added another water pump switch to our lavatory room (toilet and sink). I wired it to the one in the hall vanity. While the switch and indicator light work, it has the same issue that the one in the hall sink has. When you press the button sometimes you have to press it several times for the pump to come on, both switches on this circuit do the same. All the while the other water pump switch in the galley doesn't have this problem. Is there a relay for each switch location or one pump relay typically? Before this I thought I had a switch going bad, after this I can't help but think there is a relay somewhere going bad. Photo of new switch below

I have a Rand McNally, I use it for a wheel chock, literally its that useless as a GPS... I use it for a wheel chock. The long cord makes it very desirable for a wheel chock, you can toss it on the ground, kick it under a tire and then you have a lanyard to remove it without much difficulty, hang it off the mirror, then you wont have to bend over to remove it . I was so frustrated with their tech support, I photo'd it as a wheel chock, emailed those with a letter to the president of their company, tech support and posted how terrible they are as a company all over the web, hope they spend millions cleaning up their tarnished name. After they ripped me off and several failed attempts to repair it they could have made good and refunded me, but they chose not to so..... My $400.00 wheel chock gets quite a bit of attention and some good laughs around a CG. I have actually had others ask me if I need another wheel chock while camping as they had the same experience with this company and its electronic products. Their customer service is like no other, but not in a good way...well maybe CW is as bad, although I have not experienced much like this in my life. This is a company that should stick to paper maps, I think...think they got that figured out but I would still exercise caution. I have a Garmin in my company car, works great, Jeep and Honda have Navigation built in.

Here's the tile, not installed yet.

I swear by these things! This TRC unit has saved us 4 times in 4 years with this coach alone. Too bad I learned the hard way on the first coach, cost me an ATS, fuse box and a new A/C unit . Before the big debate happens on who's EMS is best I also have a Progressive that I use at campgrounds, picked it up from our HR club member that sold his coach.

Rick, for under the slide toppers a broom handle with a rag on the end, just tape it below the end, wet the end with 303 set it in the groove and push it down. Kind of like a big Q Tip.
