  1. Does it look like this? https://www.summitracing.com/parts/snn-10237?seid=srese1&cm_mmc=pla-google-_-shopping-_-srese1-_-stant-products&gclid=EAIaIQobChMInMuS3Mvk2AIVko2zCh3zHw_MEAQYAiABEgJoh_D_BwE
  2. Herman, I feel your pain...replaced ours three years ago, Girard told me the new version had replacement blades, I took a different approach, I put this around it to keep it protected. That is a Strobe light cage for a utility truck strobe light.
  3. Wil, why I was asking where they came from...aftermarket don't come with mounting hardware, only a CAT technician would know that the hardware also needs to be replaced as those bolts are once and done. CAT comes with the bolts in the box, so that would promt the tech to replace them. I had a guy in our shop that took the shortcut, didn't replace the hardware, truck left the shop 3 days later one injector came through the valve cover all of the oil and fuel hit the turbocharger and burned that truck to the ground. Keep in mind that mess all started with someone taking a short cut. I still have the photos from that mess .
  4. For a few extra $$ over diodes most vehicles have these plug and play kits. http://www.hopkinstowingsolutions.com/products/dinghy-towing-harnesses/?p=all
  5. Patrick, I have had several Delco alternators on Freightliner trucks do the same thing as you experienced, it could be a defective alternator, assuming that is what its equipped with. One recently at 18V Allison went into Limp mode and wouldn't shift. That alternator was only 8 months old from the last over voltage problem. The Freightliner dealer should be able to fix you up. Delco QC has drastically dropped off in the last few years in general, starters not lasting 1/2 as long as before also.
  6. Will, who did the work? Are those OE CAT replacement injectors?
  7. HEUI injectors are notorious for failures, especially if the engine is idled a lot.
  8. In my experience they have the rule so they have the ability to refuse you. I have on several occasions stayed at places with a 10yr rule, I email them a photo while booking the reservation, usually get put on hold and have never been turned away and our coach is a 2002. I will say all of the times we have stayed at these places it was a great experience and relaxing. A few have explained why they have the rule and after you hear the stories you will understand. As with everything now a days it only takes one or two to spoil it for the rest of us. Manholt is right, usually in FL or CA is where you will find these.
  9. The link below is what I have ran in HEUI injection engines for a few years, works well with the oil side of those injectors and keeping them free of sludge. http://www.archoil.com/ar9000-friction-modifiers/ Your engine utilizes the same technology as the Powerstrokes listed. There is a video in there somewhere explaining the issues and hurdles of a HEUI system.
  10. So...you did follow through with the propane injection? Come on spill the bean's....how does it run?
  11. My point exactly! I couldn't imagine having to live with that, knowing my negligence caused that. I even ran the breakaway with the BO Patriot we had.
  12. My main reason is breakaway safety. Should something break tow bar one of many hardware hitch hitch riser i don't want my car striking some innocent person, can you imagine if at 65 it crossed the highway and into on coming traffic? This coach I feel it back there upon braking before the M@G system, ever so slightly. The last coach was significant, yes it would push us until the Patriot box would engage, felt like we were rear ended.
  13. Ok, I think that's the same one we have. You recommended it a few years ago, i bought it, we still have it. DW was wondering if you upgraded. Ours was having problems over the summer in the heat. Works now....
  14. Puff, what camera are you running now? I still am using the same one you recommended a few years ago. DW was asking....
  15. Puff, not sure about Scott free. I'd be he need to change his shorts after that
  16. WOW! Looks like his phone was more important than driving.... That could have been much worse
  17. You need to block out the sound, just show the footage . Glad you weren't a part of the mess.
  18. Any other Monaco/HR/Beaver product experience that problem that you are aware of?
  19. I don't think the intention it to remove it for filling, mine was empty and it took two of us to lift it out, and a lot of foreign words could be heard from a block away that afternoon
  20. There's my new MOTTO , that might take a while for me to accept.....glass half full
  21. Don't know how but just stumbled upon this post. Glad you got it fixed up! I was just about to chime in and tell you to bypass the dryer and see if it builds air then. Since the temps dropped here they have been dropping like fly's.
