  1. Thank you Herman, it is much appreciated. Roland
  2. We will be heading down to Aransas Pass the end of next week. We were suppose to be there the beginning of December but our youngest son’s kidney transplant failed and we needed to wait until he got settled in with dialysis. We plan to be there thru March and then Castroville for April. Roland

Great news! Rest and follow instructions and you will have a speedy recovery! Roland
  4. I don’t think Covid 19 will go away anytime soon. We have less than 3% of our population who have acquired the disease, in order to get community (herd) immunity we need 60-70% of population with antibodies. Until we have a viable vaccine which the population will accept and use many more people will be infected. Fortunately we have learned much about the disease in a short time and the recovery rate is good and death rate is low. This disease is serious, it is now number 3 on the list of cause of death so we can’t ignore it but we can’t let It destroy our economy and country. I am glad to hear that Texas is still open with safety measures in place. Bill we will be staying at Southern Oaks Luxury RV park thru march and then we are going to Castroville to Alsatian RV park for April.
  5. How is Covid 19 in the Corpus Christi area? We will be down for the winter December 1. When we left this past spring the count was very low. are restaurants open? Roland

  7. Carl, that is prehistoric dirt right! 😀 Is Texas starting to open up again, we will be down in November to Corpus till April and then to Castroville for a month at Alsatian. Roland
  8. You might find the paint codes on a closet wall, in my Bounder they are on the bedroom closet wall.
  9. Carl, Try Colaw RV, I was able to get the doors that I damaged on my MH from them. They are friendly and good to deal with. Roland
  10. Be sure that the ground wire contact is good.

Tiffin offers it on their gassers.
  12. Coming homer to Michigan this past May we used Texas toll road, I do not have a pass. How long does it usually take for Texas to bill you? Roland

    Forum

Glad to see that the forum is back! Hope everyone has been well and no COVID 19 problems.
  14. Way to go Carl! Hope you both have many happy years. Roland
  15. I had a similar problem and found it to be caused by a small wire connected to battery, the covering had worn thru and it caused a short.
  16. Carl are you going to stay at Mountain High RV park while in Alto? The whole area there looks great.
  17. 70 yesterday, 60 and rain today. Golf course is open. I would say even UP is snow free by now. Safe for you to go Bill!!!!! Roland
  18. Alsatian will open golf course this coming Friday . Hopefully with other courses open it will not be crowded. We will be here until 5/11 and then we head north to Michigan.
  19. I played Tuesday and hope to play this coming Monday weather permitting. There are several empty spots here, I talked to the office today about the possibility of staying in May depending on what is happening. Roland
  20. Carl, in talking to a few of my friends who are still in practice they are not doing any surgery except emergency surgery. Very rare for cataracts to be deemed emergency. Hopefully we will be emerging from COVID 19 by the end of May but it all depends on when people wake up and follow directions. Better to wait a little time then have a problem. Roland
  21. Carl, sometimes if you store the med in refrigerator and use cold it stings less. Everything will go fine.
  22. Puff we were down by Corpus Christi since January 1, before COVID 19 broke out. We will stay here until safe to go home. Carl are you having cataract surgery? Good luck, normally a very safe uncomplicated procedure. Roland
  23. We arrived yesterday from Aransas Pass Southern Oaks RV Park. Park is nicer than last year but only 50% full. Have a tee time for Tuesday . Castroville is still fairly open, but restaurants are carry out only. Bakery and the meat market are open. We will be here for the next month and then see how things are going in Michigan to head home.
  24. We have been in Aransas Pass near Corpus Christi since January 1, only problem here is low inventory in grocery stores. We will be moving to Castroville the 27th of march and intend to return home to Michigan early May. We don’t have a set schedule so a few days one way or the other doesn’t matter. Toilet paper and meat have been the biggest problem as the hoarders have gone into action. Roland
