I have a rear radiator, is this repair something a non mechanic with moderate skills can do or best left to professional?

What would be an expected price range for replacing the engine thermal regulators?
  3. Is there anything new in Internet service for RV travel? Looking at cost and data amount. Would like something that can be turned off when not traveling. Thanks, Roland
  4. Bill, This is exactly what I did. We drained the tank, cleaned it and brushed the surface with a wire brush attached to a drill. We then cleaned the surface again and applied 2 separate coats of JB Weld. I finished the repair with a coat of rustolium paint. So far so good. Roland
  5. We have had progressive for 2 years, 1 claim which was handled great.
  6. Lenp, Really great idea for well nut! I don't think ATF would damage the rubber grommet so this could be the cure. Thanks, Roland
  7. Bill, You recommend using acetone as a cleaning solvent? What about a wash with simple green and then finish with acetone? Thanks, Roland
  8. I plan to completely drain the tank and use black star spray to kill the possible rust. Thanks for the help! Roland
  9. The leak I have is at the bottom of the reservoir tank, a small hole. The screw sounds like it might work, if not I will try epoxy.
  10. I have a small <1/8" leak in the reservoir tank for the Power Gear leveling system of our coach. New tank not available and used is $625 for tank and pump (which I don't need). Is there any leak sealer I could use for this? Fluid is ATF and I think the tank pressure is minimal. Tank is metal.
  11. We are on our last day of return trip from Pheonix to Fenton Mi. All went well but I am sad to leave summer. Oh well, spring will get to Michigan in July or August. Next year we will try to go for 2-3 months so we will be able to meander a bit.
  12. We had a Safety Plus installed on our coach before starting home from Arizona. It has paid for itself already in the help it gives in high wind (25-40 mph). I consider it a good investment.

    Washer

This is what we do also, we try not to use any questionable or less desirable cg. I am going to remove our washer, we can use the space for other things.

    Washer

    Ours is a single.

    Washer

We didn't want to fool with It and usually don't do laundry daily or every other day. Just easier to use laundry facility with multiple machines.

    Washer

Carl, I have not removed it yet. I know it is not worth a bundle, it has never been used and we simply want the space. It has been easier for us to use campground laundry. Roland

    El Paso, TX

Do you know anything about Mission RV Park in south El Paso TX? Deming is shorter than I want and Van Horn is longer than we like to go per day. Roland

    Washer

We want to remove our washer/dryer. It has never been used. Is there a market for this?

    El Paso, TX

Need campground recommendations near El Paso, TX. We will be starting home the beginning of March.
  21. Thanks Carl, I plan to have one installed before we return to Michigan. Roland
  22. Any thoughts on the safety plus or roadmaster steering devices? I put new steer tires and had alignment before our trip to Arizonia from Michigan seems better but still has slight wander or fidget on highway. Tire pressure is correct for load. Thanks, Roland
  23. Do you have any information on what we are suppose to do to tow until modification is made? Should we run with Jeep in accessory position?
  24. Carl, You mentioned a campground near Memphis on I 55, do you know the name? Thanks, Roland
  25. Thanks Brett and Carl, Like I said we will go to Memphis and check things. Will probably go to Little Rock and then south to Dallas. Thanks for the info on 40 Carl. We are allowing 9 days to get there, hopefully only take 7. Roland
