  1. I have used Blue Beacon with good results but it is very important that you tell them not to wash the refrigerator vents, could cause a problem.
  2. We would love to go to Chandler but other obligations force us to return to Michigan. I hope all of you have a great time at the meeting. Roland
  3. Carl, Pie sounds mighty good ? when I was little I had a pie for my birthday, I wanted blueberry and in February they were hard to find in Ohio where I grew up. If we go that way we will be sure to stop.
  4. Thanks for the info, we are returning home March 1 due to previous obligations, if weather permits I will take that route instead of 10 all the way.
  5. Any info on taking rt 60 out of Phoenix to Deming NM?
  6. Thanks Carl, I think that is what we are going to do, just upgrade our current coach for now. If we make the plunge to full time then we will move up. Roland
  7. RV cam said the camera is weather proof and can be mounted outside. Only proviso is to not use pressure washer spray directly on camera. I am going to cover hole in my RV with a piece of white plexiglass and mount camera to it. Thanks for the help and Bill watch out for someone at the back of your MH.
  8. Bill, I thought of you and how I could get to your RV. Roland
  9. Any idea where I might find the metal cover plate for a 2005 Fleetwood Bounder 38 N back up camera?
  10. The Fisher Paykel won't run on modifies sine wave? What type of house batteries do you have?
  11. What is the best practice for turning the water pump on? When hooked up to city water do you need the water pump or should it be turned off? I think it isn't necessary when hooked up but don't know if you harm the pump by leaving it on. Thanks, Roland
  12. Try in the low 20's during day. That is why we are in Arizona now!
  13. When I lived in Ohio we went to several nice courses in Indiana. A good sport that helps prepare you for hunting. Roland
  14. Thanks for the help, I am going to talk to TC and proceed from there. Roland
  15. We will be traveling back thru Texas when we return home from Arizona, would Texas Custom be able to do such an inspection or would I be better off to go to Indiana in the spring for a factory inspection if they do that?
  16. No Bill, Still looking and getting info and prices for doing major upgrade to our current 2005 Bounder, Much cheaper than changing MH but no 1/2 bath. Only concern with present coach is most of it's life has been spent in Michigan with outdoor storage in winter. I wonder about rust to chassis and other components. Roland
  17. Did you use the old wires? My monitor is in my dash, I have had the dash apart and I can remove the monitor but not being very electrically inclined how difficult is the hookup?
  18. I need to replace my backup camera system, it is not working and I would like to go to color. Are the new wireless systems a good choice or would I be better off staying with a wired system?
  19. We have a disabled son who travels with us sometime and it would much better for him at night. Also my other son sometimes takes the RV and he has three women to deal with! Roland
  20. If I told you I was more of a Buick kind of man rather than Cadillac what brands would you recommend? After seeing the Foretravel ( which is beautiful ) I think I will be able to get something for more like $150,000.00 want to stay more the size of our bounder which is 38'.
  21. We are considering upgrading our Motorhome and are not sure what way to go. New or used? Our current unit was used when we bought it. I want to get something at least a little newer with a bath and a half. We want to stay under $200,000. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
  22. I installed our signal booster in the chassis battery compartment and it works fine. It is on the driver's side rear.
  23. If my main interest is charging the chassis batteries should I hook the solar to them. my inverter is the 458, had brain fart in previous post! We never boondock so house batteries are not as important. I know they are needed but when RV is in storage I have them disconnected. Roland
