Are they new and with a warranty? What brand? Are they going to be used as starting batteries or house batteries? If house, are they deep cycle batteries? Give us as much info as possible and we might be able to give you a reasonable answer.

If they are installing new pedestals, the wiring should be to code which should be buried with direct burial wire or in conduit. Cords laying on the grass is for temporary use.

I also have aluminum wheels so if I need to move tires around I remount the tires in the new location. I always keep the tire rotation in the same direction, I have heard thats not necessary be I do it anyway.

Because its about the same size the output would be the simular. Two 6 volt batteries have about the same capacity as two 12 volt batteries. Its the area of the plates in the electrolyte that determine the capacity.

Construction is more robust and is less effected by outside interference. The booster is not required for toad sensors.

I recently had my coach painted and was offered diamond shield for $1200. I asked how much to repaint the front end sometime down the road and was told $800. I opted for the latter.

Some shops give only 1 year warranty. I will post some pictures as soon as I figure out how to!

I think that the best way to store is to block up each axle so the tire is off the ground about an inch. It can be done with blocks of wood.

In June I had my 93 Coachmen Santera painted and it turned out better than I had ever imagined. It was done by Mike's Custom Painting in Bremen In. I spoke to Mike at the Indy rally and made an appointment to have a couple of small things taken care of on Wed the 5th. Everything was taken care of with a smile. The service is perfect and the paint job comes with a 2 year warranty. Very satisfied with the job and the service.

Most of the systems probably work ok. I am using Tire Minder and having good luck. They have consumer replaceable batteries in the transmitters. The factory service is unbeatable which is very important as far as I'm concerned.

If the tire is under warranty the tire company should pay for the repairs needed. -

The new K&N filter is doing a good job of filtering. I beta tested one of their filters for 1 1/2 years, then had the oil analyzed. Came back ok. I have been using one of the first production units since May and everything is good. I have a ISB 275. The filter material does not filter less.

As pointed out earlier in this posting by Mr Wolfe you do have a total of 50 amps. I don't understand your math. As far as not applying to 99.9% of the readers, I know of a number of users of this type of system. Its not that complicated and any one with a basic understanding of electricity can do it with minimal expense.

Just pointing out what can be done, so you don't have to be restricted with the way you bought it.

Just checked into the Wilmington Oh Thousand Trails which has 30 and 20gfi on the pedistal. Plugged in both the 30 and 20 amp cord and am running both airs.

I have tested led bulbs and they are not as bright although they draw less current. -
Most of the parks we have visited in the last year and a half have only been about half full. We are going to be in 2 more on our way to Indy and when I made the reservations 3 days ago both had between 100-200 spaces available. Should be able to find an exceptable site.

I have been using Tire Minder with replacable batteries in the transmitters. I will be beta testing the next generation transmitters when I leave Sturbridge Ma tomorrow. So far so good.

New Flat Tow Vehicle Needed
desertdeals69 replied to peterp31's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
I would recomend getting a vehicle with a standard transmission. The less modifications you have to make the better off you are. Just look at the postings on this forum with all of the unhappy results from misinformation and products. I tow a 99 Silverado 1/2 ton with a 5 speed manual transmission for over 100,000 miles. -
It's true that they are not located in all of the places you want to go. However back in the 70's we traveled to all of the lower 48 states twice so chances are that going back to a state again today, we have been there or close to it. While not located in the "hot spots" we find any area has things to see and do. We spent 3 weeks in Jefferson Oh and are just finishing up 3 weeks in Sturbridge Ma. not far from Boston. As far as initial investment goes we went to a TT presentation some years ago and the buy in was in the $8,000 range. I went to ebay and bought it for $99 plus transfer fee of $750.

The annual fee is $585 for me. The initial cost is dependent on who you buy it from. I have the use of any park in Thousand Trails, Leisure Time Resorts, NACO, Outdoor World and Mid-Atlantic. Just under 90 parks. I can stay in any park for up to 3 weeks and then go to another for 3 weeks and so on. I can make reservations up to 90 days in advance. Up to 5 of family can do the same for a fee of $30/ year.

I have never stayed at a KOA because of cost. I prefer Thousand Trails where we can stay up to 3 weeks at a time and then go to another one, all with no daily costs. We do have an annual fee of $585 but thats the only expense. We are in our third week at Sturbridge Ma and going to Pa Sunday. Not all our campgrounds are where we like but with some planning we stay around 100 nights in the system per year.

Norcold Problems Starting On Propane
desertdeals69 replied to QuiGonJohn's topic in Systems and Appliances
You might verify that you have the correct lp pressure. It should be 11 inches of water column or about 1/4 lb. We usually test at the stove by taking one burner off and hooking a manometer or pressure gauge to it.
