  1. I loved that show! That was back when television was interesting to watch, today it's drivel and touchy feely programming. Mr. Kuralt took me places that I dreamed of, later I decided to see some of those places in person. We''ve now stayed and sightsee'ed in 47 states (including the Conch Republic) and 8 Canadian provinces.
  2. tiresafeguard is the brand name. The website has no method to locate dealers/retailers. The website reminds me of when Truck Systems Technologies was a startup website. Even though the shape is different safeguard units have the same inlet/outlets as TST sensors.
  3. I think you must phone the company to find that information.
  4. I suspect he meant high cacacity batteries, often people using cell phones are a victim of the automatic spell-checker.
  5. Norcold 12xx series has 2 OEM fans near the top of the coils.
  6. And they are not ladybugs, they are Asian beetles. Lady bugs have smaller spots and do not bite.
  7. Welcome to the FMCA discussion forums! Yes, if you have a FMCA road map recommended RV parks are highlighted for each state. If you wish to purchase a map you may do so from the FMCA store for $17.
  8. Did you take your MH to Cummins Coach Care or a Cummins factory repair shop or a Cummins authorized repair center, each has a different role.
  9. The CBS evening news ran a segment from TX showing the extensive damage to one house that was without power, plumbing in the attic burst and ruined the entire house. This cold is not supposed to happen and construction techniques have been established accordingly. I feel sad for all those affected.
  10. Perhaps we should have a tongue in cheek emoticon.
  11. Carl 35% is available if that helps.
  12. It appears the MH tires are not resting on the trailer and there is blocking under the MH frame. Perhaps that rear binder strap needs tightened to raise the rear of the trailer?

Welcome to the FMCA discussion forums!!! I have a few suggestions; first buy the latest copy of the Truckers Road Atlas it contains a wealth of useful information, buy a GPS unit specifically designed for RVers it has settings to input your length, height and overall weight when properly set it will not route you onto roads unsuitable for your MH. Keep a link on your laptop or tablet to big rig rv parks, no one website contains a complete listing of the lower 48 states.
  14. How much does it cost to fill your fresh water system with H2O2?? The fresh water tank is not being sanitized unless the entire interior is exposed to a minimum of .5% H2O2 solution.https://www.cdc.gov/infectioncontrol/guidelines/disinfection/disinfection-methods/chemical.html
  15. Is the back strap holding the rear of the trailer up so it won't drag?
  16. It's no different than using diluted vinegar to clean your coffee maker, Add vinegar and water @ 50/50 ratio to fill tank, turn in heat long enough to warm the mixture then drain and flush.
  17. The engine heater warms the coolant, thus the drips. Warm coolant expands and puts pressure on the joint and hose clamps. I agree with richard5933 recommendation to tighten the constant pressure clamp bolts a bit _do not collapse springs. I had to do that a couple years ago, no drips since.
  18. That would earn the truck driver a ticket here in Indiana. Vehicles axles must be cross-chained to the trailer.
  19. I was her caregiver for 8 months, now she is caring for me. She has never been able to ride in any vehicle for over 1-2 hours since, which drastically changed our traveling style/plans. In our MH she would lie on a sofa while I was driving.
  20. The plastic gas tank, it was behind the axle, she had just filled the tank. The wrecker driver said being full prevented the gas tank from exploding, there was little room for gas vapor.
  21. Want to trade weather? In S. Indiana, the forecast is -9°F tonight and tomorrow night, more snow Monday.
  22. You will note 12.2VDC is only 60% charged. I agree with others, have your batteries load tested and replace if they fail.
