  1. It is a fixed triangle and can't do anything except follow behind the RV. The sides would have to get longer and shorter for it to not follow.
  2. I wonder what is up with that. T Mobile trying to get rid of us???

    CODE READER

Yes it will. You clear it then you will have to turn off ignition and turn it back on to disappear.

I use BlueFire for motorhomes. Can get the dongle on Amazon and use the iphone or android app. There is also scanguage for diesel rigs with the J1939 connector
  5. I dont believe the heat inside the rv will kerp the fuel from jelling because the fuel tank is not heated. They usually use a “winter blend” in winter climate areas to keep that from happening.
  6. Had an issue 2 nights ago in Lordsburg, Nm Showed full signal and connected to T-mobile 4g. Could not open anything at all. I can't see Lordsburg being overcongested with traffic as there is not much there. Called Tech Connect and they responded in an hour. I am now in Tombstone and all is working fine again. Tech connect says they did nothing on their end . . . Go figure
  7. Currently in Lordsburg, NM. Alcatel hotspot shows full bars for signal. Going to hotspot page shows connected to internet. T Mobile has us network throttled or managed to the point where we can't even open a web page. I think it is getting time to dump this CRAP service with them. We pay for unlimited internet but are currently getting NOTHING
  8. I just did a search online and picked one . . . We're staying at Picacho KOA for a week on the 15th. There are 10 or 12 RV parks in the area. Hope it is warmer there than where we are now in Marathon Texas at a balmy 23 degrees this morning. Our rig is 12 years old and no one even asked the year or age. As long as it does not look like a rolling dumpster you will be fine.
  9. If it is front wheel drive . . . Yes it can.

    Gas or Diesel

I do all my maintenance also myself. All parts are available at NAPA and even Amazon. They have all filters, belts, etc. Oil changes cost a bit more due to the amount of oil required but it is worth it for me. I would also suggest if you get a diesel pusher . . . Find one with a side radiator as they are much easier to service than a rear radiator rig.

    Gas or Diesel

Yup I’ve had several gassers and it us a pain finding a gas station to get into and fill up. Most filling stations are set up for cars and not a 40’ rig with a car behind it.

    Gas or Diesel

Our diesel sits all summer in Massachusetts at our house there. No issues. . . . You're gonna get a lot of opinions as to why one is better than the other and my gasser rides just as nice. Only thing I can suggest is go to a dealer and take both for a test drive. Every gasser I gave had rides like a truck. Can't hear the person next to you talk. I will NEVER purchase another gas rig.
  13. It is OK . . . I prefer the Bluefire for motorhomes app and OBD device.

    Inverter

Have you had the generator checked for voltage output and frequency. Check voltage input at inverter/converter. How old is the converter/inverter. Never heard of inverters not liking generator power as long as it is putting out properly.
  16. Are you sure the headlights have not just burned out
  17. I just got a replacement as my MiFi 8000 went bad and it is an Alcatel Linkzone2 and it is only a 4g device. It does not say anything on it about being 5g compatible.
  18. Call FMCA and ask for the Tech Connect Department. That is how I got a hold of them the other day.
  19. I finally got a hold of someone and are replacing unit.
  20. It just amazes me that you can't get a hold of anyone in the tech connect department. Can't file a ticket online for troubleshooting or anything. I have a battery that bulged in my unit and need a replacement. They certainly take your money every month though
  21. The only thing I can think of is drill it and get a roller pin at a hardware store or try epoxying it . The glue is only temporary though
  22. In my Allegro Bus manual it says you can use the dump feature to give you more clearance for a low garage or carport. I don't think you can turn much with it in lower mode. I have the PowerGlide chassis. Not sure which you have but it sounds like you can't if you put it in gear and it raises. Try putting it in gear and hit the dump button.
  23. He was asking about Apps and not GPS units. I have a Garmin RV 785 and a Rand McNally Overdryve 7 I like both. They each have pro's and con's. Both are for sale because my new rv has the Garmin built in.
