    GPS

Rand McNally overdryve 7 for rv. I like it because i can plan a custom route on pc and just sign into tripmaker and it is on the gps and ready to go. Can drag to route of my liking
  2. Does the Energy Management system monitor the current draw after the main breaker?? Seems possibly like the circuit that monitors the current draw possibly went kaput. Do you have a clamp on amp meter you can put on the 2 legs and see if there is a draw there. Are batteries bad and maybe converter draw. Try unplugging it.
  3. We had one that did the same thing and it was the fuel pump.
  4. Don't you have an air tap in front and a hose?? I can run my 50' hose from my air tap in front of the rig and fill the tires or anything else needed with the engine on the RV running
  5. Generally with the Winegard systems you can take off the cover on the satellite dish on the roof and change dip switches from DirecTv to Dish.. If you have a Travl'r system you will need a conversion kit which is a couple hundred bucks to purchase. You will need to obviously change receivers. We have the Wally Receivers. Also a good thing with Dish is that they have an App for your phone where you can change your local channels right on the app while traveling . . . No charge to do so. We have a pay as you go account with no contracts. I never have to call dish for service.
  6. It sounds like the progressive dynamics ems is bad. Did you try to bypass it for a day or 2 in a campground and see if it still does it.
  7. There is usually a "pump controller" that those switches go to and there is an output that goes to the pump. The controller allows you to turn on the pump from different locations. That unit might be going bad. They are fairly inexpensive.
  8. Not hardly. The chassis and air ride. The engine is totally different depending on which model is chosen. Horse power differences etc. Not just more "bling".
  9. So it won't turn over or it won't start up? Did you fill the filters with diesel before you installed them??
  10. We have Dish pay as you go. Can change local channels right on their smart phone app. DirecTV is moving some or all of their channels over to a new satellite or system so I've been told and the DirecTV equipment will need to be replaced soon. We even get all the channels in Hi Def which it is getting harder to do with DirecTV
  11. FMCA has some good plans. We have the Elipsis Jetpack and Sprint Hotspot. We use the Sprint mostly because it does not slow you down. It is truly unlimited and is 50 a month plus the government fees. When you hit your gig limit with Verizon it is like hitting a brick wall. We also have an online business and process orders daily.
  12. There are really no cons with this coach. We love ours. Just make sure the windows are not fogged and Aquahot is fully serviced before delivery. Also make sure tires are new. Anything prior to a 2013 is a great rig as they do NOT have the schwintek slides. That is why we purchased a 2012. There have been issues with the Schwinteks on the 2013 and newer full wall slide. I think it was corrected in 2015 but not 100% sure. They are great rigs . . . If you purchase one you will enjoy it.
  13. You can get them at Sullivan tire in Chicopee. They have em right on the rack there.
  14. Sounds like the SG (specific gravity) was low and they froze.
  15. They have Smoke Diesel Repair coming out this AM as Loves won't do RV tires . . . Guess it depends which Loves you go to. They put 6 new tires on my RV in Florida. Had to sign waiver for damage.
  16. They must carry one of those 40 ton small air jacks with them.
  17. Not everyone is as Manly as you and has the ability to physically change a 200 lb tire and rim on the road. Glad you can do it.
  18. Loves has a truck tire center there and 24 hour road service. . . Hope this helps
  19. Pilot Travel Center Cookeville, TN (931) 528-7100 Open 24 hours Love's Travel Stop Baxter, TN (931) 858-6150 Open 24 hours $2.56/Regular
  20. What year is your Journey? There were some 2006 and 2007 Journeys that had a bad board in the load management system. I had one and it would only show 30 A.
  21. Sounds like you are losing a "hot leg" somewhere. Could be in transfer switch, panel etc. Need to pull panel cover off inside rv and start checking the legs with a volt meter. should be 240 vac across the 2 hot legs and 120 each leg to ground.
  22. The lincoln will do that without a Toad Charge. We had 2 different MKX and they needed to have the battery charge off the rv while going down the road http://www.lslproducts.net/ToadChargePage.html
  23. I just put 8 tires on mine and got rid of the 8 year old Michelins. I went with Dayton tires which are actually Bridgestone. They were done at a Loves service center and was out the door mounted and balanced for $3600. Also I would not do regional tires on any RV. I put the D510S long hauls on mine. I have so far put 2000 miles on them and can't tell the difference between them and the Michelins other than I have more cash in the pocket to play with. Michelin must have "gold" belts in them.
  24. For the money you want to spend I would not even look at a Thor Aria or any Forest River Product. In my opinion JUNK. You can get a nice 42' tour for under 190k like we did. Ours is a 2012 and had 26k on the odometer. Look on RV Traderat Winnebagos, Newmar's and Tiffen's
