    I've had both Coachnet and Good Sams and I've had good and bad experiences with both. I truly believe it has everything to do with the person at the respective company that takes your call.

    Oh no....I had forgotten that stuff. Only one way, time to grow new skin. As I recall, I disposed of all my work clothes after that stint. I was 7 on 7 off working out of Galveston for Penrod Drilling.

    I really don't know what it costs, Bill, if you say $39 I trust you looked it up. I just remembered reading about this planner that met most of the OP's needs. Like I reported, I've never used it. It makes no difference since the OP never visited the site after asking the question. Have a nice day.

    The reason they joined was for the tire program, however, they found a dealer that beat the FMCA program price. They voted yes to go along with management. Their words not mine. They will not renew their membership as they see no value. When I asked them about the assist program, they replied they never go more than a few hundred miles from home.

    Two things I'll point out, Carl. First, "she" was driving. Second, we were in the Big Bend "area" between Study Butte and Alpine where the speed limit is 70+ mph most places. There is too much beauty to drive faster than 45 mph while in the park, plus, there are a few dips than can be interesting even at that speed.

    I would like to pass along a comment from some new motorhome and new members of FMCA. "If we had read the forum on FMCA about letting towables become members we would have never joined." I can't help but wonder if FMCA is not getting some new members because they are reading this forum.

    Unfortunately for the other manufacturers, we drove the Newmar first. I was tremendously disappointed in both the quality and workmanship in the Fleetwood line-up. I drove Fleetwood, Thor, Winnebago and Tiffin. All in the 40-45 foot range with tag axle and there was no comparison. The XC Chassis with V-ride suspension and the steerable tag axle made a noticeable difference in body lean. I paid special attention to body lean yesterday as my wife was driving at 50 mph around some curves in the Big Bend area, there was no lean to the coach. The place mats never moved on the table. You're going to love the ride and drive of this coach.

    Congratulations! We purchased ours in August and have driven it almost 2500 trouble free miles. Just returned today from the Davis Mountains and Big Bend National Park where the wind howls this time of year. I drove 398 miles one day with a 20-30 mph with gusts to 45 mph. The Comfort Steer made the day a breeze - pun intended.

    I did see the sliver of the moon with Venus shining brightly Tuesday morning. Beautiful sight to see for sure....we're talking about the demise of the CC brand I believe.

    Progressive Industries. Great customer service and lifetime warranty and its much more than just a surge protector. I've used them for over 10 years and I can't tell you the times its saved my coach from faulty wiring, low voltage and high voltage.     What are you towing with? FYI...it helps if you add your information at the bottom of your posts, including year, make and model of your coach.

    The repairs should have never been started until all parties agreed on the amount of time and money. Most extended service agreement companies won't pay a nickel if pre-authorization wasn't obtained. BTW...most of these agreements have more holes in them than a 10 pound onion sack. Buyer beware.

    To answer the OP's questions. 1. Title it in the state you claim as your domicile, you know, where you file your tax return, etc. 2. As far as insurance, I would suggest you do your due diligence and purchase the policy that makes most sense and cents to you.

    Driving back on I-10 from Katy, TX on Friday, I passed several trucks loaded with crushed cars. I assume they are flood cars coming out of Houston headed to the steel mills in Mexico.
