  1. Carl, Life West, is that anything like Life East????? Herman
  2. Is it a 4 wheel drive unit and if so does it have the neutral switch? I have a friend that has a 2013 King Ranch and the neutral is built in. Herman
  3. Carl, They were called FRED (aka FRont Engine Diesel) FMC made a gas pusher back in the early 80's. There were problems with cooling and dust intake. I may be mistaken about the time frame. Herman
  4. Joe, The in motion is so the kids may watch TV on the back TV. When I redid theTv's my front unit would play even with the ignition on. Our grandson was with us and was watching TV and every time we would go under an overpass it would drop the signal but come right back on. Herman
  5. Joe, Colaw's has several trays(used) in stock' Do I remember that you or maybe it was Blake that was going to the Bass Pro Store in Springfield? Colaw's is just West of there about 35 or 40 miles. I will be there at the end of this week. I to am looking for the slide mechanism and can make the drawer myself. Herman
  6. WC, Welcome to the Forum. If you at in W Springfield at the rally you may go to registration. There is a program book in your packet. I don't think registration or information will open till Monday and maybe till Tuesday. Also try later to see if you have better luck later. Herman
  7. Sorry DD, the DW nor I can hold it that long ?. We do use us rest areas when we can, but have been known to pull on to the shoulder of the road and use the water in the tank to flush. We also will overnight at WalMart, Sam's and Cabela' s. We will shower and all. Herman
  8. Fresh water tank for Coffee, Showering, brushing and flushing. We use bottled water for drinking just because we can keep it cool in the fridg. We keep our tank clean and flushed three to four time a year. We have a double filter in the bay. Change the filters three time each year. Normally keep about half a tank full when traveling and use camp site water when hooked up. I guess you can say that even at our age we still like to live on the edge. Herman
  9. 10-4, I understand but take a look they have excellent views of each coach. It may give you a base line on pricing. Herman
  10. Well said Carl. Hearing of beans in Chili is like fingernails on a chalk board . Neither is supposed to happen. Herman
  11. Mike, Welcome to the Forum. I don't know where you may be located. However here is a website you might check out. They have nice clean coaches that you may interested in. www.motohomesoftexas.com Herman
  12. Good morning Carl. All I was saying was to keep on breathing for a long time. Herman
  13. Sorry, let me say that I had one of the most wonderful Mother-in-laws a fellow could ever ask for. She passed away in 2005 and has been missed everyday since. God rest her beautiful soul. Herman
  14. I do close to the same as Carl. We always dump at our last camp ground before we return to the house. We will dump the ice in the tank when we are about 50 mile from home. We have a dump at the house. I will dump and rinse several times and then add just a small bit of water then store the unit in the garage. I also have a 50 amp plug that keeps the unit going and will make ice for the next adventure. Herman
  15. Congratulations to you both. In September we will celebrate 52 years. And as it has been for the past several years we will do it at Six-State. Bill, I can't imagine how much better the air could be since your procedure. The air is so fine up there in the Colorado mountains, I didn't think it could get any better. Remember it is't breath in, breath out, and continue for the next 50 plus years. Herman
  16. I did just about the same when we stopped taking my mother-in-law with us. Herman
  17. Joe, A bidet from what I know is for cleaning not power washing ?. Herman
  18. Good idea Tom. I now know of another thing on your bucket list . Herman
  19. Priestlake, Can you see your Black Tank? If so you can purchase a tank rinse that can be installed without any problem. Check most any RV store. I got one several years ago at Camping World (aka CW). Herman
  20. Roy, As you may be aware, there are 10 areas in FMCA. Six-State Rally Association (aka South Central Area) like all areas have a Rally each year. This year we are going to be in Shawnee, Oklahoma, September 12th to 15th. You may learn all about it at http://www.sca-fmca.com/ . It is open to FMCA members and motor home owners. Come and enjoy. 21. I have always said that when you are in a rolling earthquake anything that is plugged in will eventually become loose and fall out or off. Herman
  22. Bill, Take it easy you have a lot of fresh air up in Evergreen to inhale. You are probably familiar with the RV accumulator tank and I don't think that is what you have. If it was Blue I would suggest that it might be a Nitrous Oxide tank to improve acceleration when passing. Picture? Herman
  23. Joe, For the bay door latches, all it required was the latch. The company for the latches is: RB Machining/RV Div. 661-274-1966.......661-269-3233 motorhomelatches.com A look at their website may have information and door latches and plungers. Herman
  24. Bill, Your correct we have passed it many times. It reminds me of the arch over I-44 at Vinata, Oklahoma. However it's a McDonald's.
  25. Roy, Be sure and try to experience all you can. Everyone that goes comes away with new ideas, new RV product, new friends and great memories. I see in your picture you have a small one. David and Loretta Marlowe have lots of activities for all ages. Hope you enjoy everything. Tell us about it. Sorry we won't be there this time but do go to the Forum Meet & Greet and tell everyone I said hello. Herman
