  1. Give them a call tomorrow: http://www.pressurepro.us/home.asp Advantage PressurePro LLC 205 W. Wall Street Harrisonville, MO 64701 Telephone Main: 816-887-3505 Toll Free: 800-959-3505 General email: info@pressurepro.us
  2. Bill, Irrespective of which side if the discussion one is on, I find it offensive that one would question that the results (sent to Mandel & Associates, an independent CPA firm) would be "rigged". We are talking about a well-established CPA firm here, not national politics. If you have some "insider" FACTS substantiating that a CPA firm would rig the results, would be very interested.
  3. Since this is high season AND internet communication is pretty good, I would say NO, communicate NOW.
  4. Ray, I would certainly invest in a phone call to ask the question. Corpus was just on the dry side of Harvey-- Rockport took the brunt of landfall. Then it "wandered" north and stalled, dumping 50+" of rain on the Houston metro.
  5. That are was pretty hard-hit by Hurricane Irma, so verify that you get current/post-Hurricane information.
  6. Certainly if plans for the Keys this year, following Hurricane Irma, best check with the CG!
  7. I believe the important point Joe is making is that there are DIFFERENT restrictions based on class of roads, with Interstates and main U.S. highways being less restrictive than secondary road. Would be good for a retired trucker or someone with more details to chime in. Best, if a link to a site with details. It is a subject I know NOTHING about, as no interest in a long coach towing a long trailer.
  8. Welcome from across the pond. Hopefully those familiar with Florida may know of some CG's that do rent cabins or trailers-- alternatives to hotels. As I am sure you are aware, January is high season in FL.
  9. Bill, You can only be right 99% of the time. Only Janet and perhaps the Porsche expect 100%.
  10. Yup, I remember-- not suggesting it was you who released the details. Apologize if it did not sound like finger pointing directed at you. But as an organization as a whole, I think we could do a better job of announcing what IS with no "sneak preview" with, perhaps some of the details not quite worked out.
  11. Ya, we at FMCA have quite a history of releasing "sneak previews" of programs before everything is finalized. Sure has come back to bite us on the backside. So, at least I for one would like to see a program announced AFTER all the details have been worked out. Guess that would take some of the "drama" out of it-- but that may be a good thing.
  12. And, if it is the ignition solenoid, often a light, sharp rap will temporarily free it up if points are stuck.
  13. Mikelangley, Welcome to the FMCA Forum. Just drain your hose and pour your sanitizer in it. Reconnect hose and turn it on. That also sanitizes the hose.
  14. Either ignition switch or more likely IGNITION SOLENOID. The ignition switch triggers/closes the ignition solenoid. The points in the ignition solenoid may be welded closed.
  15. Riverside is one of the eastern-most communities in the LA area. So, for those coming from the east, anyway, traffic should be a non-issue.
  16. I totally agree, Northern NM is one of our favorite areas, but NOT in winter in a motorhome. We summer many times in Angel Fire, NM, but it is a SKI RESORT at over 8,000'. Average low in January is 6 degrees F! Suggest a more southerly route-- check on your return and you may be able to visit some of the beautiful places in northern AZ and NM.
  17. You can scroll through the Destinations/Attractions section for places on your route. Here is one: http://community.fmca.com/topic/11492-us-90-san-antonio-to-van-horn/ You can also use the "search" box at the top right and enter particular towns/cities/attractions along the way.
  18. Ken, What does the 20 amp fuse supply-- only clearance lights? Since everything else works, that is first speculation. But 20 amps is either for other circuits as well (very likely) OR, if only for clearance lights DOES indicate a real problem-- they should not draw anywhere near that much. Yes, water in a clearance light or bare positive wire to chassis metal could be causing a dead short. But, that should cause the fuse to trip when engine is off, as well as when on. Color me puzzled.

I agree, since refrigerator works fine on shore power or generator, the refrigerator would NOT be my first suspect, so do not start by trying to pull it. Said another way, from the "out" side of the inverter to the refrigerator is exactly the same on shore, generator and inverter.
  20. And, when first started and at 1000 RPM or higher, even 14.0. If higher, next question is what alternator do you have/what battery isolator do you have. If a diode-based isolator, there will be an EXTERNAL SENSE WIRE on the chassis battery side of the battery isolator. It is a small gauge wire (just a signal wire), and even a little corrosion or loose connection at either end can cause excessive voltage.
  21. NoviceKnomad, Welcome to the FMCA Forum. No, an alternator is very unlikely to cause this, unless your chassis battery is so discharged while driving that the battery is dead. What is voltage at the chassis battery? I have no schematics on your particular coach, but most motorhomes use an IGNITION SOLENOID. The ignition switch/key turns on the ignition solenoid when then powers all those things that are on when and only when the ignition is on.
  22. For excellent, free information on you engine, call the Caterpillar RV Hotline with your engine serial number: 877 777-3126.
  23. omnidynmc, Welcome to the FMCA Forum. First thing I would do (before other non-preventive maintenance items) is change fuel filters. Your description follows restricted fuel supply IF when you downshift to a lower gear and symptoms go away you also back out of the throttle (since that would also call for less fuel flow). If the above 2000 RPM is also at WOT (Wide Open Throttle) and no symptoms, it is likely not a fuel restriction, as that condition calls for even more fuel.
  24. Did the same as Tom-- found the widest TV that would fit, then removed and cut down the box vertically to align with new TV dimensions. Add one more thing to the mix: sound. If you don't have external speakers, look for a TV that has FRONT speakers. Speakers at the bottom work great, as they don't impact the "critical dimension" (width).
  25. Brenda, I shot your post off to a hands-on Caterpillar tech. Here is his reply: Hi, first place to look coming off the chassis batteries: look for two wires connecting the positive and negative post. Possible broken connection, dirty connections. Then follow red and black wire to inline fuse holder or fuse block and look for blown fuse 7.5 amp or 10 amp. ( no power to ECM). At fuse block look for fuse for neutral safety switch or little square relay that says neutral safety relay or start relay first. If major work was preformed, check to make sure connection at wire harness at ECM is not loose if removed. Let’s start in this area first.
