  1. A dark caulk to blend in with the latch maybe. It will also waterproof it,
  2. One of the things I saw recently was that if you have an accident collect all the parts that you can. The body shop may have a better chance at repair versus replacement.
  3. Have you checked the manual on the Ford web site to see if it is towable 4 down and what steps will be needed to tow it?
  4. They don't weigh it. If it is over a 10 pound bottle it is restricted, even if you say it is empty. Take the bridge.
  5. DB, propane is limited to 10 pounds per bottle. Anything over 10 pounds is not allowed through the tunnel. I'd wager your propane tank is over 10 pounds of propane.
  6. Joe, I-77, is that "Fancy Gap" Climb? I read where it is 6 miles at 4.5 to 5% grade. Long climb.
  7. I know how you feel. I would even consider an extra 100 miles or so by taking I-84 to I-77 and then I-95. Probably about an hour and a half longer. I would almost do anything to avoid what you indicated.
  8. Going South should not be a problem as all the Snowbirds are driving North this month.
  9. DB, besides the MH, Kids, and family, bring a lot of money. Disney World is expensive, as are the campgrounds.
  10. No one mentioned that it could be the light fixture itself. Pull lit down and check the back side wire connectors and meter it there for the proper voltage. typically one light fixture is not going to be the only fixture controlled by circuit breaker or fuse. they are typically wired as a one point control.
  11. Ray, read the policy. My policy stated the full payment.
  12. Wow! What a find and a project. Some inside pictures before, and all pictures after, please.
  13. Ray, I don't know what your insurance policy says, but when my MH got totaled by Harvey, page 26 stated they (Progressive) would pay me what I paid for it. My son, a lawyer, said, "No dad, they will depreciate it." Nope! They paid me what I paid for it 10 years earlier. Look it over, and I hope that is the case. Premiums are not cheap, but it was worth it.
  14. Is the space open? Bill, we'll be in Shipshewana, IN for the month of August and 'till after Labor Day. Come on down!
  15. It's all a state of mind, right? Knew some Benoit's in North Brookfield, MA.
  16. Sorry to hear all that Ray. I hope progressive does you well.
  17. Nah! I think there should be more study involved!
  18. Sorry to hear that Ray. Such a shame that they could not put out orange cones or something to warn drivers.
  19. We are still home in Texas City. Had RV friends from BC and Arkansas visit us for last week. Had a bunch of fun Part of our RV Mutants group. We all started hanging out on a forum in 2013, had a get together with about 20 RV's in 2014 and many of us have become good friends. RV life is great.
  20. I spent 19 years in Central Mass., but it was an accident of birth!
  21. 10:05 p.m. and it is 74˚ here. Just sayin'!
  22. Wow! Has this forum/thread died!
  23. Dallas is 280 miles from me. West of Dallas is further. We did get some smoke smell the other day but no stronger than what the refinery plants put out. People ask, "What's that smell?" Reply, "Money!"
