  1. We take a few frozen left-overs with us but mainly cook fresh things. We have an Instant Pot, Air Fryer, and Blackstone 22" Griddle. The possibilities are very large with those three appliances. The left overs would be for the one night stops.
  2. I can't quite make out what is wrong with the rear wheel on the SUV towing the man cave.
  3. We have used Bank of the West a few times and their rates and customer service has been very good.
  4. I"m not sure if Android has the same capability, but Apple TV will Mirror an iPhone and no wireless network is necessary. It does it strictly between the iPhone and Apple TV. There is an app for the Android called AllCast that will stream from phone to Apple TV. Not the cheapest way to get it done, but ATV is a one time fee. I don't know what AllCast's costs are. Search on "How to Connect Your Android Phone to HDMI" without the quotes. Here is One Result
  5. It's all about today's permissive society, and the bottom dollar. If you do not get satisfaction from the owner/manager, be sure to leave a review on Campground Reviews. Be honest and review both the good and bad things at the campground. Many in our world visit camground reviews before booking reservations, or stopping. My pet peeve is dogs not on a leash or tethered.
  6. If'n you are a hankerin' to use duct tape, go with the Gorrilla tape, it should last a few more seconds. If'n you are going to replace it, heat it up before you bend it.
  7. I'm pretty sure Rich that they knew what was meant, but yep, happens all the time. Same with fuel savings programs.
  8. Bill, maybe a glue gun for re-fabrication.
  9. Trust me, even the owner's manual may be incorrect. I once had a suspicion and contacted the manufacturer of some car (way back when) and they said it was not towable 4 down and that the manual was a "cut and paste" from the previous year and they they were correcting it. So be careful. Best to see if anyone else is towing it.
  10. Thanks Herman. He is alive and well, even if he doesn't have a pulse. He is kept alive by an LVAD and is doing fine. They moved from Arkansas to Florida and are loving it there. He is active and about, just has to stay relatively close to a hospital that can cope with the LVAD.
  11. Thank you for serving Kengineer. You MOS is in the same category as Carl and me. My MOS 2691 when I retired.
  12. Yep! My MH policy states that I have to check on my MH every 2 weeks or they are not paying. I'll wager my life insurance policy has some provisions also..I'm going to be dead so I'm letting DW tend to that!! 🙂 I personally have a friend who used the FMCA Assist. He was from Arkansas and vacationing in his RV in Florida. FMCA Assist provided a Lear 125 hospital equipped flight for him and his wife back to Arkansas and provided for the transportation of their MH back to Arkansas. Well worth the yearly FMCA fee of membership. Yes, there are exclusions but all in all it is a good program in my opinion. I'm just not planning on using it any time soon, but I'll keep my menbership.
  13. You're lucky! There usually are not quick answers on this thread.
  14. Escapees in Livingston will forward mail, and more.
  15. I think it is because if the community followed the guidelines, we did, they would not catch covid. Long discussion topic, eh?
  16. My coach is on a Freightliner chassis and I had basically the same problem - would blow hot air. I finally found a Freightliner dealer that added dye and looked for leaks. They found the leaks at the fittings. Replaced and fixed. As Ken stated, be cool, take it to a professional. It is not worth the aggravation you will go through by yourself and possibly never find the cause.
  17. Carl, I made Oyster Stew in the Instant Pot a little while ago. It was delicious. I'll trade recopies with you for the seafood gumbo!
  18. The Teepee has an open top for smoke to escape from the open fire. More modern ones have a flap. Just don't build the open fire next to the edge!!
