  1. Remove the screen on the faucet and see if it is obstructed with calcium and debris. Clean with brush and see if that helps.
  2. Or raise the front and drain both off to the rear.
  3. Kay is correct. The overflow drain for the fresh water is open and will not only overflow when the water is to high but will be the pressure relief so a vacuum is not created. I like the analogy of water pooled on the slide topper. Running the slide in should let the water roll off the topper, then extend it again and try the fresh water fill again.
  4. Ray, et. al. we have about 10 rigs of the RV Mutants coming in on the 9th for a weeks stay. Come on by and say hello. We are in site 102 at the back of the park. On the 13th we have the club house,
  5. E & S Sales Bulk Foods. Don't forget the Flea Market open only on Tuesday and WednesdayThis is our third or so time to this area. We like it. Laid back, easy going, nice horses and buggies. Our place to go to in the summer time and get out of the Texas heat. Sundays the sidewalks roll up, and also many places on Monday.
  6. Ross, We stayed at Pla-Mor in 2018 for the month of August. Say Hi to Joey and his nice wife, Just down the road from there, in Nappanee, IN, is the Newmar Plant. It was interesting on how they assembled their product. Yes, lots of things to do in this area. We'll most likely take a ride down that way..just don't know the date yet. Oh Carl, ye of little searching capabilities.😇 Just type in "where is shipshewana" and you will get a map. Can you say "Ship she wanna?" Okay now put it all together. SORRY COULDN"T RESIST. Temperature here today at 9 a.m. was 61˚, and at 10:38 it is 64˚. Hi today will be 75˚ and tonight's low will be 52˚.
  7. Welcome y'all, nice to meet you.
  8. We arrived at Shpshewana South RV park today and will be here for the month of August...come on down Temperature today was 76 and no humidity that I noticed.
  9. Had the burning look on my old MH on the prongs, changed it out like you did. Now with my PT-50X I leave the RV line plugged into it instead of unplugging it all the time causing the female prongs on the inside to get week. All I have to do is pick up the PT-50X, make sure the breaker box is switched off, plug in and turn on the breaker. When ready to go I only need to unplug the PT-50X male plug, carry that end over to my reel and push the button. Getting close I stop pick up the PT-50X and put it in the bay still attached to the RV plug. So far so good.
  10. Don't forget to ask Earlene if it was funny...I thought so also and had all I could do to control laughter when it happened. Or were you talking about the movie clip??
  11. So funny. Year 2007. Fifth wheel setting up. My back had acted up and the drain was about 2 feet back under the front of the slide. I asked Earlene to help me. I showed her the black cap, told her to remove it and twist the sewer hose on. She asked, "I'm not going to get dirty, am I?" I told her, "No, it's what I do all the time." She removed the black cap. I had forgotten to close the grey valve. She doesn't get near sewer lines anymore. Wonder why. Could have been worse, could have been the black valve!
  12. What are you striving for, pulled pork??
  13. Joe, isn't talking about heart problems sort of like being in the toilet? Carl, happy to hear not a major problem.
  14. Carl, all the best of prayers for you. Please don't bother the nurses...except as necessary.
  15. Ray, we have two of those Techma Macerator toilets. Knock on wood we have not had any problems with them. They sure do use a lot of water. Somehow Winnebago decided that the grey tank should be 70 gallons and the black tank 55 gallons. My thinking is it should definitely be reversed. As it is now we can go about 3 days before dumping because of all the water that is used. I have the water level adjusted to just about a 1/4 inch above the throat opening. Yep, to much, and especially of the wrong type, TP can botch things up pretty quickly. I have a clear elbow on the end of the sewer line and take a look at it when I dump and so far just a liquid flows out, discolored a lot, but just liquid. You are lucky that you can climb and take care of problems like that. I have to get someone else to do it. I became an octogenarian this month. Bodily ability has changed considerably over the years.
  16. We had no problem on it with a Montana fiver back in 2007, and a MH Towing in 2008 or 9. Others should be on in a little to give newer updates.
  17. Great story to read but sure don't want to have to write about it. Curious, with that small a line I'm assuming you have macerator toilets. Is that right? I have two and wish one were the pedal dump. With that big plug loose and in the tank, did it dump okay? Only TP we will use is Angel Soft. I would have spewed coffee had you had to include that the pressure backed up when using the bladder and sent it into space with the roof and you needing washing. 😇
  18. I would be very difficult for me to make a comparison as the only stabilizers I have ever had were Safe-T-Plus, once on my 2008 and just this past week on my 2015. Unlike the OP I found the Safe-T-Plus reduces wind from natural and 18 wheelers, The biggest aspect is the safety provided if there is a front end blow-out, and remember not to brake but to gently let up on the throttle,
  19. Welcome Cathy and John, enjoy the forum. Small world, just might meet up someday.
  20. BTW, if traveling on I-40 through TN, between Nashville and Knoxville is Monterey, TN, There is about a 4 year old campground called "Belle Ridge Retreat." This RV Park is laid out like RV parks should be considering it is hilly country, Withe even having the hills the pads are level with a few exceptions that TT's and 5'ers will have no problem with the little slope. The sires with the 25 X 50 feet cement pads are very near to level with no problem for big rigs. So if traveling through or just to spend a few nights, give it a try. Very peaceful and rustic.
  21. Oh to be young again. Juy 5th I became an octogenarian
