  1. Well Kev, you may not get an answer from them but I don't think it hurts to post on an old thread. Who knows, it might revive it into a long long discussion.
  2. Way to go Mike. Just remember that being retired is hare work. You never know when you are finished.
  3. Welcome. I also use it on route segments of roads to see how far it might be between any given points.
  4. We are in Shipshewana, IN where the temperature today reached 75˚.
  5. Yes, I always use Google Satellite view to look campgrounds over. I'm only 43 feet but one never knows. Also, on Google Satllite or Map, one can right click and choose "measure" and see how long a site is, and how wide.
  6. I just went back a page. Guess I'm missing something.
  7. The Winegard antennae can be programmed through the receiver to a specific satellite, well the DISH Wally can. As Herman stated, call Winegard or DTV and see what they have to say. Also, a little (big) birdie could have left you a deposit directly on the horn of the antenna. Check it for "stuff."
  8. Lippert. Last MH was Kwikee and it was hydraulic both ways.
  9. My manual says to use Silicone Spray and wipe the shaft down. I don't know about the 2010 Bus but my last MH and this one does not have springs to retract. Each jack has two hydraulic hoses, one for extending and one for the return fluid.
  10. It can also be caused by low hydraulic fluid if the system is hydraulic. Could be a partially clogged solenoid. One test for sediment that can clog solenoid is to take wife's turkey baster (just don't tell her) and stick it in the fluid, stir a little then strain it through a paper towel or cheesecloth. If rust or lots of sediment it is time to flush the system.
  11. Fourth time there. Yoder's Barn, second floor, right hand corner is the best soft pretzels there are. We also go to an Amish house dinner which are grate,
  12. We were on I-40 from Cookeville, TN to Lebanon, TN. I-71 was unvelievable with 3 lanes of traffic stop and stop and go. Eventually, for no known reason, it sped up for a mile, then to 2 lanes and the reason was clearer. On each side of the cement barrier were police cars with lights going. Each sitting in the lane near the barrier. There was absolutely not a thing going on around them on the highway. Once the 2 lane got past them, 1 lane, it opened up until the next Interstate change, then just the normal heavy traffic. From here we head to Indianapolis KOA for 3 nights, then Shipshewana South RV Park for 5 weeks to enjoy moderate day time temps and in the 60's at night. p.s., I spent the first 19 years of my life in Central Mass but it was an accident of birth!
  13. Traveled today through TN and KY. the ratio of trucks to cars on the interstate was about 3 to 1 (trucks 3, cars 1) How did I measure it. 5 or 6 miles in 1-1/2 hours. Rather easy to see the differences. Truckers are on the road, for sure. Had other major slow down's. It took us 9 hours, with a 1/2 lunch hour break to go about 275 miles.
  14. Were you able to secure it to move or did you have to wait for the parts. If you had to secure it, how did you do it.
  15. I already have reservations so don't need the spot, but what spot is it? 😎 Might be a next time!
  16. Kay, you available Tuesday or Wednesday for drinks of water? Joe, state park looks good but we need reservations and it is first come first parked! No reservations. We used to travel that way but after the COVID surge in RV Purchases found manu parks full up. However, with this fuel crunch most of the parks we have reservations in are much less than full. Yesterday, here at Ameristar, Vicksburg, MS., there were two RV's here. Ours and our neighbors. today there are about a Dozen and the price is right.
  17. Presently in Vicksburg, MS. Going to Tuscaloosa, AL, then Sparta, TN, FLorence, IN, Indianapolis, IN, then final stay for 5 weeks in Shipshewana, IN,. Anyone passing by, wave! (or stop and say hello)
  18. Sorry to hear that Ray. The rule of our MH is; drinks for 6, dinner for 4 and sleeps 2 so you will have to get a motel room. There is a nice one right next to the CG. Probably cost as much as the CG so come on down.
