  1. First, google Permian Basin, TX. and stay away from any of the towns listed, unless you like sand and gravel trucks, all 18 wheeler's! Thousands of them. Then take any road you want. Just depends on time of year!
  2. I really don't see where any of this part of the post, is helping the OP any...or any other Newbie for that matter!
  3. Last March was the same. Global change in weather pattern, not Global Warming! North Pole is heading for Siberia...that's reality. Antarctica, had it's first real snow storm, in a 100+ years, 2 days ago! It was inland from the Ross Sea. We are now in the "New Norm"! Galveston Island is 41 feels like 32, tonight and the next 2 after, will be in the mid 30's! That's happened before, but never in March!!!
  4. Whats a Boldt Castle? WBill, your an epicurean, just like I am! First thing on our list, is the quality and prep of the food, then service. I very seldom do tourist traps! Joe, if you can eat that 72 oz medium rare steak, all the trimmings and the plate, in 28 seconds...your a Tiger!
  5. RayIN, talk to one of Wayne's DW sisters!
  6. Keep that motor happy...there is no replacement, unless you find one in a junk yard...
  7. Happy wife, is a happy life!!! Now that your both happy, go enjoy your new toy! Carl C.
  8. Dan. Always a pleasure to hear from you! Have you looked at the Hankook chart?
  9. Bob, I have one on the generator and had Cummins put one in my dash, they both read the same...go see Cummins, they own Onan!
  10. Brett. He has a 2000 Monaco Windsor...You'll find him under tires!
  11. I'm surprised that you need new shocks on a 2017! Mine is 9 years old, Spartan K 2 chassis and that thought has not crossed my mind. Why? What's your problem?
  12. Brett, if you have a lay down mast, under 53', call Freightliner for a cradle trailer and haul it up there! Kay, sounds like FL borrow from Hawaii or Cuba! The only thing that I like at the Big Texan, is the Rocky Mountain Oysters! WBill, not all good eat''s are in DFW! Some of the oldest and best BBQ is in New Braunfels, Austin, Lockhart, Gonzales and Zapata, TX.
  13. This is the perfect weather, for soups & stews! Linda made a Pork, carrots and potato Stew last Wed. I'm making a Taco Soup, now! Promised her a Seafood Gumbo for Fat Tuesday! Have not learned how to post a picture, from my Laptop to Forum yet...we are trying!
  14. So much for Mobil Tech and the "Expert"! Geez...
  15. Run, don't walk, get it done. They might change the law. Or close the loop hole!
  16. IMHO. If I, as a consumer, was a expert on tires and all other components of a coach, I would not need the middle man, just go on the internet and order direct. In regards to tires, my concern is load rated and ride, in that order! Since I buy new ones, every 6 years on avg., I know what works for me, so I don't go different brand hunting, I just stay with the same! If I was a newbie, with my first "new to me" coach...when it comes to these charts, I would be very confused, especially when a company, that FMCA promotes, only gives me 60% information! That's pathetic!
  17. Or you can do it the old fashion way....Your bar is mounted on front of toad (collapsible "A" frame), with a 2 foot extender, to the 2" ball, in coach receiver! Made by both Roadmaster & Blue OX. I used that system from 1985 to 2009!
  18. Like Brett, I was down it 2 years ago, nice and slow, since there is so much to look at...Late October for Fall Foliage! Beautiful and had no problems in my 45' + Jeep! The few LEO's I saw waved & I waved!
  19. Jim S. I think Ken, is talking about us!
  20. Interesting...interactive & fun. Forget hotels!
  21. Ian, think that would work for 14? That's way beyond "free egg rolls"!
  22. New/used is 4%. Brought in used, don''t know! Annual tags, around $64. Good Luck!
  23. Ray, for 2019 it does show up to 40' 10"...no tag. Cummins 340 to 360 hp.
  24. My biggest concern is "Peace of mind", not how much can I save! Me and my love rides in this coach, our safety depends on many factors when it comes to tires and not knowing how much weight you carry on each corner or at the very least, each axle, is playing Russian Roulette...with your safety and others! Monaco is a heavy coach to begin with, then load it up and it needs tires tires that will go the distance with safety in mind. Don't go with your friend's advice...he dose not own your coach! Does he even have a Monaco? Does he have a vested interest in your and your family's life? I'll get off the box now!!!
