  1. Kay, probably falling on deaf ears (this case, eye's) and we'll hear from Mike again, in 9 years! By then he'll have electricity...

    Dead Battery

Strange place for a battery, unless it's the starter battery in the rear of coach! Both of my chassis batteries, series 31, are on a tray above the Jack System, in last bay on passenger side!! Only coach that have been that way...out of 17 !
  3. Keep the rubber side down & Happy Travels! 🤗
  4. I watch the Golf ch., Fox News on occasion! Linda looks at stuff, I never heard off and movies, lots of movies! Richard, how do you, " mirror screen to TV?"
  5. Mjarry. I only asked, because you became a member of the Forum, November 3, 2010 and just now started posting! It was not meant to be derogatory, just a innocent question! As for NH, my dead wife, was born & raised in Lebanon, NH...I spent a lot of summers there, in the 1970's & 80's. Now, like Bill & Jim, I too would like to know, "What they say about Texans?"
  6. Mjarry. Where have you been the last 9 years?
  7. If they make a AWD coach, I have never heard of it...Even the "Earth Roamer" is 2 wheel or 6 wheel drive. Your choice!

    Rv satellite

We use Direct at all houses and RV's...works the same as mentioned above in RV for $5 a month for each receiver...$10 total. We are now 297 miles from main house and get all local channels!
  9. Coach make, model, year, would be helpful? Also the 4 house batteries you replaced, 6v or 12v?

    Dead Battery

Scroll back to beginning of post. It has one start (chassis) battery & a new one was installed at time of purchase! Just because it's new, is no guarantee that it's good...I think it has a dead cell.
  11. They do excellent work in Rocky Point, Mexico & it's very cost effective! I was there 4 years ago, with a friend from Buckeye, AZ. 1998 Foretravel, 40 foot DP, 2 color paint job, for $4,000 per color! Still looks great. A lot of competition there!
  12. OlYeller, Joe uses the Demco tow bar & loves it. I have Roadmaster, Bill & Herman have Blue Ox...nothing wrong with any off them!
  13. The OP's should operate the same as Linda's coach did, before she changed the system to HWH hydraulic 2 years ago! Same coaches, yr, make, model, engine! All I did was ask her...
  14. Dale. Atwood was bought by Lipper. I have the Air leveling & Jack system by Power Gear/Lipper! When I first started using the Jacks, I had bucking (not as extreme as you) or as I called it, hopping. The fix. Park coach & set brake, let slides come out, dump air, then lower Jacks manually or auto level. Have had no problems since!!!
  15. Dale. Welcome to the Forum! With the Jacks up... Did you dump the air, before deploying the Jacks? Is yours electrical & manual, riding in a horizontal position when up?
  16. coach888, welcome! Where are you located? Without knowing, nobody from US or CA can be of help!
  17. scpetree. Welcome to the Forum! Being from/in Texas, all I can recommend is, call the FMCA office and ask for Dan, Director of Member Services. He should know!
  18. Welcome. When you installed the new switch, did you take a picture before disconnecting the wires? Sounds like you forgot the ground wire. Or crossed the wires. All my control panel fuses are behind the panel, also some in first bay, under driver seat.
  19. That's what I'm on $51.58 a month. I use it at home and in the coach! All depends on how many are in the area, as to speed. There is a tower a mile from home and about 30 houses, plus what rolls down the country road...our speed never slows down. On the road in RV parks, it does happen!
  20. When you said CB. Are you referring to the one on the Onan or inverter ? Has the ATS changed over from Shore Power?
  21. Point taken. They have their own system, better or worse than ours?
  22. My duramax on a 07...worked the same way as my coach, when my Allison temp shows 205, drop to 5th gear and it will cool off.
  23. Steve, why pay for warranty, you all ready have it?! If you want it, wait until after your warranty runs out...I don't believe in it. They get rich on my $$$. Stick the cost in a mutual fund. Congrats on your new Tiffin!!!
  24. When quantum theory, was proven reality, it opened up an infinite number of possibilities...Go back in time and ask Tesla. He was working on the possibility of using magnetism (we have plenty of that) as a alternative fuel source, to move objects from one place to another!
  25. I'm with Ray. That's not to say, that there is something wrong with all other brands. IMHO, all tires are created equal & have the same 6 years, 11 month average life expectancy, in both mileage, or time. Since they came out with radial/steel belted, I have used Michelin's on all my coaches! When we buy a new coach, as OP did, we expect new tires....that very seldom happens! Chassis are delivered to the builder of your coach and may sit out in the weather, until needed, then pulled on line and your coach, when completed will be driven to a dealership and sit for a X factor of time before purchase! Buyer beware, look at DOT # and if more than 6 months old, insist on a new set (max 3 months)! Same goes for chassis batteries.
