Byron. Your a day late and a buck short. They lived in Arizona from 1993 to 97. Seeing the USA is not the problem! They bought the unit from a farmer in UK...let's call it a Hobby! Works for me.😎 I have run into quite a few people from other countries, that do what you suggested and they love it. Some keep DP's in Storage here, and spend winter in them! Yes, FMCA members! -
RAYIN. That's got to be a let down, for both of you? Wish her speedy recovery! DBenoit. 4 more winters? Ouch! Do you go Ice Fishing?
-
Your right, and if the previous owner (BIG IF) did the 2 hours per month, for the past 14 years, then 350 is about right. However, I don't believe that it's only been used as a non exercise unit for less than 14 hours! I have my 10,000 (10Kw), serviced every 150/200 hours or about 4 times a year! We travel a lot and my coach is all electric! My generator was pulled out to replace bushings, at 4,218 hours, that was 1,183 hours ago!

LEAHROCHE. Welcome to the Forum! Wish I could be of help, there are others who will come on, in the next 4 hours. Carl C.

Jim S. Looks like one to me! I don't remember, if I ever had split rims on a coach? Don't think so. bm. Is that the Law in BC? If so, it's a good one!
-
Don. How long have you had this coach and when was the generator last serviced?
-
RAYIN That's something we can all agree with!!!

I have been to 3 over the years, by invitation, I don't wait to be asked, I voluntarily let them know at the gate. Been asked to check it in, one time! No big deal...I'm not a PC person, but I also have no business, carrying, at a active military base! You can't carry into a lot of places, so what do you do JH if your called to jury duty, or you have to go to a department in a Court House, etc? IMHO, Society has not changed, our instantaneous information, since Desert Storm has changed. There is no longer a laps in time, of days, weeks, before we get information on what is going on in the world. I'll get off my box now and close with, "Thank You for your Service"!

I know it's late for this thread, but the 2004 "New Beetle", manual can be towed 4 down, per Remco & Blue Ox makes a harness/base plate.

Copper RV Park, Tacna, AZ. Big, long spaces, 20 miles east of Yuma on I-8, caters to off roading! No Rail road tracks, noise!
-
At the beginning of this thread, Rich mentioned head gasket or a cracked head.

Is that suppose to be a open road 32BA on a Freightliner chassis?
-
Al. After reading the blog again, I came to the conclusion (I hope it's correct) that it depends on the wheels, not tires. If the inner steel wheel takes a smaller tire size, than the Alcoa, then you need to go with the steel. When you measure center to center, it's static, so you need to take into consideration, expansion. How the coach is loaded, PSI cold/hot, ambient temp. etc, that will all change the measurement between the side walls!

Byron. I personally don't care if their length is 65 or 105, but finding a space or two, in West "Snowbird Land", at this late date, in a nice resort, is going to be difficult. Same here in South Texas or South Florida! Their best chance would probably be around Salton sea, AZ or Colorado river in AZ/CA. When I had to be close to Mother, I stayed at the Blake Rock Ranch RV Park, Kingman, AZ. Used toad back and forth to Santa Monica, CA. Kingman area, offered me some fantastic off roading, in the mountains and out towards Lake Mead & the Ute reservation!

Scowdie. Welcome to the Forum! Is that suppose to be 2002? Scroll to the top of this page and click on blue link!

That's true! Herman, brought up the other thing. A 2006 coach & chassis, may not be engineered to handle the new size wheels of a 2018 same coach! Technology, has really changed a lot, in the past 12 years!
-
My fiance, Linda, has a 2006 Phaeton 40QB with a 350 CAT.
-
Roadmaster chassis is no more! Freightliner has a like roadmaster chassis.

Since it's real late in the season, it's difficult enough to find a good Park with a space. Only place I can think off, is Leaf Verde in Buckeye, AZ. I will just guess that you have a Totter or Koni, Stacker combo. Go to any Chamber of Commerce in ref. of ATV/Jeep trails...there is a book that has listing of most trails in AZ. They don't differentiate between Dirt Bike, ATV or Jeep in AZ. Your Welcome

marysteeves. Welcome to the Forum! What make, model rig and same for trailer, please. 75 foot, is 10 feet more than most States allow!
-
Joe, I would post that to HD Headquarters! They don't take kindly to any miss treatment to Military, Police, Fire Fighters or Shriner's! We all get our bikes at a deep discount.
