  1. I got the 8800L Jet Pack last month, paid the $179. 5GB and so far, no slow down at all. No pre paid, my account will be drafted the 27th of this month. *****automatic Microsoft window 10 downloads, take 6+ GB's a month...we have found no way to stop it, so I had to get more GB's than my old Verizon 5GB plug in...$3 per month difference. I'm happy!
  2. Wayne, I'm a member of Galveston Elk Lodge #126! Happy Thanksgiving to all. I'll be in Gladewater, TX. tomorrow! 🦃
  3. Roland. I would look at Kerrville! Lots of retirees in the area, good medical, food, golf and no flooding. Low Humidity. Easy access to San Antonio, Bandera and Fredericksburg ! Byron. Don't matter if your rich or poor, Texans are friendly to all. East Texas, is a blend of Texans & Cajun's...no snobs there! Mike. Sorry about your loss. May they RIP!
  4. X3! Take care of it ASAP...then enjoy the family and Turkey!
  5. BB, all it takes is one bad cell. Load test them...mine go to 14.4 bulk, 13.6 float. I replaced all 10 of mine, with AGM's...best thing I ever did.
  6. I would guess around 9....my engine is broke in now & getting 7.2...my Fiance Linda, has a 40 foot DP, 350 CAT and getting 9.2 now! Don't know what you got?!
  7. Big Rigs ? Talk to Joe, I think he's got several dozen in his care...OTR's!
  8. Don't know about Snow, Bill, coach does not live here in snow...nor do we! 🤣 As for rain, yea...re dust. Should have roof & walls up by Christmas. It's a large Avery for 8 white doves, lost 2 to Rat Snakes, 2 years ago...none since!
  9. Aufgeblassen. I'm no expert on what happens, when my 45 foot "Rolling Earthquake", goes down the road. I do know, that as a retired engineer, all static equations are dysfunctional ! So, with that said, I would appreciate some proof.
  10. Where I live, it's mice in the winter and snakes the rest of the year. Per Linda, a rope covered in Sulfur powder and run around the coach, works for both! I can attest, it does. We dust the out door bird cage with it, no eaten birds in a year now and it also keeps the mites away!
  11. No such thing as no wash, unless you really like dirt...so, the first time you put soap on the wax, you get to re-wax!
  12. Rich, glad to hear, you got a hobby! 😂 You must have some darn good reason to spend winter in Lake affect snow!
  13. Richard, interesting thought to a point. My first cousin, who lives by the Baltic Sea, in Southern Sweden, has been after me to buy a house there. We are thinking about it, but only for May thru September....the winter is brutal. We are first going to rent a place...see what happens! I do agree with you in regards to Texas, May-October!
  14. Frank. Welcome to the Forum! How far South and is this for the Rose Bowl?
  15. Last reply was 3 years ago! All the ones, I have seen in the past 2 years, are siting on trailers! Some things should not be towed, Smart Car, Fiat 300 & 500 come to mind.
  16. Mike, I feel your pain & like Herman said. It's an on going saga!

    2019 Rallies

MatnKate. Welcome back. You can get 50 or 30A. Don't know about water or sewage. Ask FMCA Conventions about that. They will have Trams running, they are good. Bike? By all means, you can take them anywhere! FMCA National will be in Minot, ND for 2019.
  18. Joe S. Unless you winter in AZ...you'll do Tenn. like we keep stopping in NM and CO every Summer! We will be doing the Maritime Providences next Summer, starting from Quebec, Canada, June 19. We will stay away from Appalachia (or get stuck there.lol) on the way up, not down! Bill, I tried sending mail and phone calls to FMCA in 1983, ref Camp Grounds...here we are 35+ years later, it's still falling on deaf ears! We missed the boat on that one!
  19. My only question at this time is, why would both sides of the bus bar be hot? With nothing going into coach? While on generator.
  20. $395 for a portable Progressive Surge Protector is a sound investment. Saved my circuits, many times!
  21. Where in So. Cal. you at & do you get rain?
  22. Hope so! In the meantime, we are getting some useful information, that will be of help!
  23. You have a faulty ATS...I would have it replaced.
  24. Like Brett indicated, there could be a separate CB for the generator, between ATS and main panel. I'm thinking that your ATS is stuck open on the shore power. I had one that did it on Generator & I could not get shore power! I have seen coaches that had a plug for generator & had to unplug to get 120v from shore power! Used mostly in 24VAC coaches, but it can be done on a 12VAC. The plug would be in your ATS compartment.
  25. Now, that's a great idea...most cities also have Muni or Jr. College, don't know if they do body shop anymore.
