  2. Mike, I have towed 3 Jeep Wranglers, well over 150,000 miles, behind 3 DP coaches, in the past 12 years! Never have I had a "Wobble", of any kind! I have also towed Toyota Tundra 4x4, Colorado 4x4, Silverado Duramax 4x4 and Izuzu Troper II 4x4 , over the past 33 years!
  3. The 5000 pound rating is based on your axle...not suspension!
  4. Whether you have one or more house, fresh water filters, you'll find that in your owners manual. I pour in a quart of HP 3% in summer, in my water hose, connect to fresh water & briefly turn on, then off and let it sit for 15 minutes...then turn on water & open my faucets in coach, run for a couple of minutes, let sit for 10 minutes & use! Since you can use HP 3% as a mouth wash, it will not hurt you!
  5. Patrick. Welcome to the FMCA & the Forum! Your tail (Truck), is wagging the dog (RV)! 20 years ago, I was into Blue Water racing (American Power Boat Assoc.), I had a one ton Ford Explorer and had no problem hauling a 32' Scarab. Then I got a 43 foot Skater, 1/2 the weight, but the length made it impossible to tow, at speed. Got a Cummings RAM, one ton, crew cab...no problem! Hated to sell the 1996 Explorer...one of a kind. Your caught between also. Keep your truck & get a used Jeep Wrangler or Colorado 4x4 or Ford ranger 4x4...that's my recommendation!
  6. Looking forward to more photos!
  7. FIVE. IMHO, 650 to 605. The 600 was before the 650!
  8. Don. We have been thru this before...ZF of Germany, owns TRW.
  9. Then there is solid front axle or IFS, having had both, I prefer IFS and tag axle!
  10. Ugh. What are you replacing it with?
  11. What part of the US do you intend on using TT?
  12. It comes with leveling Jacks only. 360 Cumming, Allison, Neway front/rear air bags, air brakes ABS!
  13. Don. It was actually developed in Germany and sold to TRW...Newell does not use it anymore! "Comfort Drive" is a name Newmar uses. They did not develop it and the TRW version is used by several commercial trucks & emergency vehicles around the world, including Tour bus's!
  14. You have a oil sensor problem...I got mine thru REV, $35. Cummings would probably have one. Make, model of coach would help!
  15. Joe S. Welcome! HWH or Lipper? I have Power Gear, works the same way with mine!
  16. Joe. I don't have a rug, but my steps don't look any better! You have been up them.
  17. RV Glass Solution! Too many times to remember!
  18. Gee Bill, I have a whole master bath room in my house & it's real Italian marble, that includes the floor. Same with my fire place surround. Even the Italians clean their bathrooms! Joe. I also, have your problem....ugly entry!
  19. The marble is dirty looking, is what I meant. Can take of the old non skid and put on new, after cleaning!?
  20. Great job! I hope the owner cleans the steps! I would have it replaced, by you!
  21. In Texas, by weight, I pay $773 a year...not happy, but it's where I live! I have no wish to move to Oregon or Montana! Both are great States to visit...but, my home's and heart is here. Would like to know: Where you live & what you drive?

Leo. Escapees in Livingston, TX. or Bushnell, FL. Seems I read, they have/or in process of another one. Ask your local DPS, they love to do it. Tim. Call FMCA, Member Services. Sometimes they do before or after Rally!
  23. Wayne, I know that...had it done in FL. Pre-delivery in Jan. 2013. Since I had oral surgery, 3 weeks before, I was not in the mood to do it myself ! They are still working & bright. Also, had amber rope led's put in ceiling!
