So Don said...anybody re read a post? Or do you go by some kind of photographic (not working) memory? D Benoit. Agree. I use "F" often!

Isaaac1. 6 weeks in storage should not show any ill affects on your coach. Pin hole leak? That's what Gorilla Tape is for!

On my 2011 Allegro Bus, my awning would come out and if I did not stop it, a screen would come down about 6 feet. It was a Girrard Electric Awning!

Jeep Cherokee Flat Towing 2014-2018

Outofourrut. Welcome to the Forum! What part of the welds have failed, is it between the firewall and front of engine? If so, you need a chassis shop, not a Jeep shop!- 74 replies

Ditto! Have been to hundreds of Islands, big & small, still restricted by water. DR is like PR, they both, are big Islands and the inhabitants fly back and forth to America. I lived on Grand Cayman for 6 months a year, between 1978 to 1993...nice part was leaving for work or play and coming back when I wanted. I also retired young (42) in 1985. Spent 4 months a year, 1996 to 2015 cruising Islands all over the world and now I'm quite happy to travel around the US.

WD40 is not a lubricant. Silicon or Lithium is. I use my Jacks for stability, if I'm in a park for more than a couple of days. Tonight I'm on air level since we leave in am!

Bruce. Any problems with Big Rig Camping in BC? Do you have off road trails for Jeeps?

Jim S. If in doubt, PM Ian!

Which is the best flat towing vehicle?
manholt replied to rvhd's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
CRV 2014 or earlier only! Stay away from Wrangler 2009 or you'll need a battery disconnect and an auxilary light set up! PIA. Joe. Hemi....to much dust & you have a problem with the diesel. If you go with a Hemi on a Wrangler, you'll need a DANA 44 front axle $2,200 & that includes the suspension! You also may have to re gear it. I think an old Rubicon would work out better. Give a call to AEV...they did the conversions until 2015! Not anymore. But you can find some used ones on line! Bill E. Just about any year will do. The stick 4 cylinders, are about impossible to find and a good CJ7 will cost $$$. -

FIVE. Glad I'm not alone! -
Your Jeep is a carbon copy of mine, along with 35 X 12.5 X R18? I have NITTO Trail Grabers, 3" Lift.

Your welcome! Still would like to know, what RV has 3 axles and 10 tires? I'm 45 foot and have 8!
-
Yep! Could be they are waiting for parts or maybe got a job at WM. Not all RV owners have enough money, to do what they want, or live in upscale areas like Katy, Texas! Since they are still there & not towed away! They have permission, Mike. One thing that I know about the Katy area, especially Chinco Ranch...folks there, think they breath rarefied air! High dollar homes & incomes, but they still shop at WM in their $80K+ SUV's! Sorry Mike, I've never met a ex LSU graduate, that don't understand, "Down & out"! No matter your age or background, it's no fun being dead broke, I've been there, 2x in my life! I think you should go see them & bring the cheese with you!

Looking for Recommendation for Chasis Work N.E. of San Antonio
manholt replied to eric@babin.com's topic in Chassis
One note on this. Boerne, Kerrville, Bandera and Pipe Creek is West of SA. Not East ! -
Thom. Welcome to the Forum! Where are you now? City and State please!!! Or are you in A/C 210=San Antonio, TX.

I run the XZE and it's holding up well...8 new in August 2014, as of today 42,000+ miles ! Cavet. I'm probably twice your weight.
-
I've had both. Prefer Road Master! Back in the 80's, I used a A frame hitch, mounted on the front of my Trooper II. Only nice thing about it, I could connect it to my truck and drop it off for service & p/u later!

I did not go into all the coaches that was present in Gillette, WY. We did do, Entegra, American Coach, Tiffin, Monaco and Renegad. Most diesel, some gas. What we found, is that all but 2 coaches, was heavy on one side....kitchen, sofa, bed & washer/dryer. All on Driver Side, so that means you also have fresh water & B/G on the same side! Not good on a DP and horrible on a gasser!!! IMHO I feel that the "BLING", makes the buyer over look things that don't make sense! I keep the heavier items on the opposite side in my coach, both under and inside. It does work! OP might try that first.

Agree! Plenty of Canadians in Texas, with Dollys every winter & they got to be Canada legal both ways!

Mine was condensation and a loss ground in high beam. Hair line crack in lens!
-
Just good to have you back!

Stay on 52 to Joliet, then take 30 until your clear of Gary, IN., Traffic & construction is your enemy, tolls = $80+/- depending on how many axles you got. I was there in my Jeep last summer & it was scary on the Toll road. I would avoid it at all cost in my 45' coach! Why 52 all that way?
