All of you who have DE Villa, chairs, sofas, both dinette or any other furniture...they went out of business in 2009! No parts available and they used Flexsteel. Flexsteel stopped making anything for the RV industry this past April...I have a Co-Pilot seat that has a broken motor and gear box, no parts, or motor with gear box, can be found by the biggest suppliers, in the Country! Newmar, Thor or Rev will sell you the whole seat...Avg cost $3,800 + $1,200 shipping in 6 to 10 weeks!!!

Phoenix to Flagstaff is doable. If your at 112 at home, you'll probably be in high 80's at Mesa and mid 80's in Flagstaff...only problem is getting there, all uphill, so use a lower gear if you have one!

Ray, good job, nice trees, nice house and yard...have the cats been in it yet? Stay safe and enjoy!

Have you told your insurance company? Could be you need to replace the whole unit, that gets expensive!
-
Agree! But, OP has what he has! I only know about triple axle, custom, boat trailers...principal in towing should be the same! Weight, length, drag and what you pull it with.

My last 3 coaches has had an internal water pressure gauge, set at 60 psi, I use an external gauge set at 50 psi...never had a problem on high side. Low park pressure of less than 40 psi and we have to use the fresh tank and pump for a shower! The black water tank will have no problem with 90 psi in regards to back flush! When I lived on Galveston Island, city pressure was 120 psi and now, at Linda's house, it's 90!

Zilpha. Welcome to the Forum! Your 22 feet long, GVWR is 7000#, What is the weight of your GMC? Oversize radiator, do you have a clutch fan? What does your manual on GMC say in regards to max engine temp & do you have a trailer gear on your transmission? Ambient temp of 112 can equal up to 160+ road / pavement heat. You'll have to figure in drag, but your well within weight tolerance. At 22' your very close to having the tail wag the dog. Get some stabilizers for trailer hitch!

I suspect you have a bad oil level probe (sender)).

Joe, that was the main reason to wait and see...same thing with the Jeep Gladiator (besides being over priced)!

We all lost. She wants a 4 x 4 truck and a golf cart...we got a gas cart & an Elect., at home. The gas cart was fixed just before we left, so, that just leaves the truck (Chevy)! 😎

Coleman A/C compressor doesn't kick in
manholt replied to sumrfun45's topic in Systems and Appliances
Sometimes it's also caused by a dirty build up...I had 2 of three units cleaned yesterday by a mobile tech & now my coach is cool when needed. The other unit needs replacing, heat pump is leaking. -
What direction am I looking? year & make of coach would help, along with # of slides! If the others have the same amount of slack in the same place, I would leave them alone.

I would like to know what FMCA is doing to recruit new members?
manholt replied to wildebill308's topic in FMCA
Yes, welcome back...first post in 6 years and it's a "Bullseye!" -
Mine wanted white & then repainted to match coach! I told her, your choice, one color and a cruise next year or match coach & no cruise anytime soon! Now it's a moot point.
-
Yep, me too! Only exception is when I use air only level...as I put slides out or in, it equalizes it's self. Some coaches allow water to come in, on floor both sides of slide there is a drain slit, that allows water to escape back out. On my current coach, I have a different system and nothing comes in!

warrenjo46. Welcome to the Forum! I would be out there enjoying my coach, MHO is that you have a Lic & a 1/2 CDL non commercial. Also IMHO I would not go for a full commercial, don't know about NC, but in TX you'll also need an annual physical & eye test in order to even apply for a CDL.

Jim S. I have been looking at them! Unfortunately the model we wanted is sold out. 🤬 How the F does that happen, since last Monday was the first time you could put a deposit on it? 3,500 being made! I spoke with Ford Tuesday, they said only that it was not a dealership, but one buyer for all of them! BS.

choodie1961. Mine is a 2012 King Aire and I had a loos ground wire 2 weeks ago....everything on my HWH works! Anytime you have an elect problem...look for ground first, we are a rolling earthquake and things that hardly ever happens at home, will haunt you in the coach!
