  1. I do as Herman! All you need is some water, that you don't see at the camp ground shore power, with CB on...you'll light up like a Xmas tree on arching! DON'T TAKE THE CHANCE !
  2. Herman. Hot water heater/furnace is a closed system that is heated by either gas/elect or diesel...on certain high end coach's the engine will heat the hot water as you travel. Wayne is correct, I have had the same leak at water in & out...also!
  3. hphock. Welcome! MHO, go with Kay S., or Wayne! Both good, sound, advice!
  4. Welcome! Tropi-Cal was made by National, National went Bankrupt in the Sub Prime fiasco of 2008-2010. The VIN# is for chassis, so my suggestion is to take the coach to a paint shop & they can match the colors. Avg cost is $200 per color!
  5. Don C. Good to know, your still alive! The Ball Game has changed this year, most State Parks are open to residents only or closed, NP's are mostly open. We are in West View RV Resort, Cortez, Colorado for 3 weeks! We called to extend our 7 day reservation, a week, before we got here. Everything is open on a 50% capacity, all NP and BLM 4x4 trails are open! We'll be back in Ruidoso Downs, NM, for the Labor Day horse races!
  6. I had that same issue on a 2007 WB Tour 40' with a Cummins 400. My engine cooling tank was half the size it was suppose to be...replaced by WB because their end cap would not fit over the original chassis! I lived with the yellow light coming on in the NM, CO, WY, mountains every year. Downshift to 5 or 4 did help...rear radiator.
  7. Jim S. Does that mean your going to carry a spare TRW ? 😁 Joe, we got a spare pump at home and yes, it's going with us to Alaska in 2021.
  8. Richard, I think they, the OP, got it 18 months ago!
  9. UH, easy way to check furn in high ambient temp, is to place a frozen bag of peas, corn, carrots, etc over thermostat.
  10. Your right...multi plex can be a problem for an older single zone wire...I'm still learning.
  11. I have heard nothing bad about the Outlaw! Thor has improved over the last 4 years. F430040. We don't know what make, model, year you currently own or have owned! I've had 18 Class A's in 53 years, both new and used, gas and diesel, good and bad...Look at my signature for current coach, we bought it used this March.
  12. For the price of a used Essex or King Aire, 2016 - 18, you can buy a new Entegra Cornerston 2021. We have a 2012 King Aire 4584, bought used this past March, have spent about $5,400 to get it perfect, rides and handles like a dream. Before buying this, we drove a 2015 Foretravel and a 2012 Newell...My wife owned 5 coaches in 37 years and this is my 18th in 53 years, we got married in May this year and love our KA!
  13. We have a 18 year old and a 19 year old, that pulled in front of us yesterday. Got to talking to them after set up & gave them a FMCA flyer and last months magazine...they filled out the form, wrote a check & it goes out in today's mail. 42' Fifth wheel...they both work for Goggle and been married for 6 months!!! They are full time.
  14. I used Progressive on my Race Boats, not cheap, when a 1,000 HP Merc blew, they paid the 110k replacement and did not raise my rate. Like Bill, in my coach, I self insure for extended repair's! State Farm for coach & everything else...no boat's anymore!
  15. IMHO. I would go with a soundproof/fireproof material from America!
  16. We like 90 from Houston to Beaumont, I-10 to Vidor and take 12 to 190, drop down from 190 to I-10 in Baton Rouge, then I-10 to I-12 to I-10 again....unless you wan't New Orleans. You can also take hwy 1 before you cross the river and it will take you to 90E in Raceland, LA. Another is I-49 to hwy 67 to NO. Lot's of options and do/see in LA.
  17. White Eagle, I do believe you hit the nail on the head. After 53 years and now 77. I'm still going to be here! So many memories, so many Chapters that are no more, now we are members of two Chapters and Six State rally for South Central Area!
  18. Bill, I think it was Polly. Wilmotte, your right, it was 440...the 1981 had the 454.
  19. Nope! try Provo, Utah for FMCA Discount, or Denver.
  20. Don't know about crystal ball, but we are all trying real hard to come up with a possible solution to your problem. 😃
  21. The wonderful world of having a Wrangler for a toad.
  22. UH, there is an auction in Paris , Fr., coming up and they have one in mint condition. Estimated value is 8,000 to 12,000 EU. No Reserve.
