Carroll, in addition to ObedB reply, make sure all of you basement doors are shut tight. My first reply....I am trying to figure out if the house batteries are also dead, did you have those checked/replaced?
-
Carroll, do you have any interior lights inside the coach and the roof vent fans are operating?

Interesting topic. We filled out a few of the cards at an RV show a few years back for prizes, we have gotten the calls advising us we won something . 5 free nights in Gettysburg PA but we had to go to claim the prize, right away I said to my DW this is a time share. So we go listen to the speech, picked up the coupon for 5 free days, never used it. It was just like Bill mentioned above, pay a few thousand $$ get a list of campgrounds (funny they were all in less desirable locations around the US, and there wasn't many either). So they tell us "or you can be like the rest of the families here and just park your RV here for the camping season". My wife spouts out, why would I want to sit here and look at the same scenery, our motorhome has wheels under it for a reason". Thanks but no thanks! They explained to us that 95% of RV owners do not think that way, we are the "other 5%". Ill drink to that! I am sure there might be some benefit to these, depending on your lifestyle, how often you travel etc. But its not for us. We want to go to different places, explore and see the USA, not sit at a CG/trailer park and watch the same old same old all the time. I have often thought it might save us a few dollars, but when you add up what I spend per year on CG's vs. what these cost, I am ahead by a few hundred, plus they often are not where we want to go. We also do not like rolling into some dump with washed out roads, no defined sites etc. I prefer to spend a few extra dollars and stay someplace memorable and enjoyable. Its one thing if you stop for a night and just want a place to plug in, dump and fill your tanks. Blake, we also destination camp several times a year, usually at a beach town area. Our one favorite spot has a restaurant and tiki bar on the beach at the CG. Just a great place to unwind, watch the water skiers from your seat and listen to the band play. I will often head into town pick up 2-3 dozen Blue Crabs while we are there also. If you are ever out this way let me know, we have a few great destination CG's not far in DE and MD. One is under construction, I have it booked 2 x this season. I am confident we haven't missed anything by not having a membership.

I tried to change mine, it asked for a password, I entered it, I got an error it was the wrong password. Odd thing is I just logged in with it so ??? I asked Todd to change it last night in an email. That might be your best bet.

See if you get a notification I responded to your post. I will send you a PM also.

We always look for the deals. When they are around we run with them! Glad to help!

I renew my KOA card every year when I make the first reservation at one of their Kampgrounds. I give them my ID number they have all of my information on file and they always ask if I would like to renew. We have always had good luck with KOA. We loved the one in Nashville TN at 2626 Music valley Drive. Probably the nicest one I have been to yet. If its your first time here is the link, the card application is on the right side of the screen. https://koa.com/value-kard-rewards/ Similar with Jellystone campgrounds, just no annual fee, you can accrue points for discounts to be used at a later date. Due to this I always try to locate one of these first when making reservations, once a year I get enough points for a free weekend or several free days. It also applies to any items bought in the camp store to accrue points.

Tom, good luck, maybe you will learn something looking over his shoulder. I do not blame you one bit, if you do not feel comfortable working on it call someone in. Better off safe than sorry.

Todd, I changed the notifications back to what they were before. Should be ok now. Carl, I would gladly take him to lunch if I was even close to the main office. I certainly hope he is not a volunteer.
-
Brett, you are correct, Todd is all over the forum making changes at this time. Poor guy, hopefully someone takes him out to lunch today, he will need a break

Todd, the like button would make more sense, it would certainly cut down on the number of posts. I sometimes comment just to follow a post, if I could "like" it or "follow" would be beneficial. I see you have your hands full. I will pop in a few times through out the next few days to see how it is progressing and to help a fellow member if necessary. I can work around most quirks, the personal email blowing up is aggravating my DW. Thank you, Joe

Herman, I can relate to that. We traveled on I-40 through OK in November 2013 it was so bad the body mounting sheared off the frame on our class C and the microwave broke out of its mounting. I remember crossing a river on I-40 and I thought the coach was going to be totaled when I go to the other side. Next time I will come down I-44 and just deal with the Highway Patrol RV harassment.

Carl, it looked like it worked I have a "heart" to the right of my post. Carl, if I cannot stop flooding my email inbox with every time someone posts on something I commented on I am going to disappear as well.
-
Wow, are you trying to bracket race a DP?
-
Brett, I found them, but you cannot toggle the buttons. it has a message when you hover your mouse over them. something like "these have been blocked by the administrator "

The entire signature section to edit and so on is missing.
-
Carl, I think is to rate a persons comment, love it or not. I pressed it on your post above, now I heart you!
-
I just scrolled threw a few posts, everyone's signatures are missing, it's not just us. Maybe they are still working the bugs out? We had a software update at work November 15th. It's still messed up

Hmm, hadn't noticed that until you mentioned it! mine is gone also.

Cheryl, I second Bills recommendation above. We stayed at Cherry Hill also. We didn't do the Vip tour, just added it to my bucket list, thanks Bill. We rode the Metro (DC area public transportation) they have a bus stop in the campground, the campground will tell you everything you need to know so you can ride public transportation around, we did it and had a great time! We liked that campground so much i wouldn't consider another when we do it again. We also never felt like we were in a bad area for our safety, at the time my kids were 10 and 12. I have a question, why the hotel stay?
-
Bill yes, but oddly it seems to run better. I drove it for the first time tonight, we have a hill not far that I usually pull at 45 with my foot in it, tonight I topped it at 57. Could just be the outside temps are in the 40's so the colder air played a part in it. I wanted to see how loud it was with the engine brake on and to see if my DW was going to have a problem with it, we love the silence while driving, and I didn't want to give that up. It has a deep tone and when your in the throttle if you listen I can hear the throaty sound., but it doesn't catch your attention. Since it's so far behind me it's a faint sound, I can still whisper up front and my wife will be able to hear me. So no saying anything under my breath! With the engine brake on high coming through town between the buildings it sounds like a semi with straight pipes, but with the volume turned down, if that makes any sense, so not annoying but it sounds like it means business. I'm happy with it and the out of pocket was good also. I finished it off with this: http://mbrpexhauststore.com/t5074-mbrp-6-tip-dual-wall-angled-5-inlet-12-length-t304-ss

Carl, lol! My email is blowing up everytime someone posts anything I have commented on before. It's pretty annoying. Especially when I delete them on my phone then up I have to go to a PC and do it all over again.

Concern: certain notifications are blocked from me changing, why?

Not yet, I seasoned it Saturday
