  1. only you..... How long have you had that coach? That is a real beauty! It also looks familiar, my old boss had the same coach, worked on it many times in the early 2000's.
  2. My friends Allegro Bus has Cooper Roadmasters on it, he has maybe 25,000 miles on them and so far no issues. I rode in it, it was quiet
  3. I recently read Samsung was having problems leaking and having problems locating repair vendors in certain areas. There are quite a few of them out there and on here with NO issues, but it is something to consider when deciding what to use. I have the GE15.5 in ours in place of the Norcold 1200 series. It was chosen because it is used in an RV application from the factory on some Fleetwood models and it didn't require cabinet or inverter or battery alterations.
  4. YUP, its is our back up guest house and with Florence bearing down on the east coast i'm filling the fresh tank tonight, just in case of the potential apocalypse the news keeps talking about.
  5. Carl, Normandy Farms will suite you perfectly, I could have left the jeep connected on the pull through we had. We drove the toad into Boston, you could call a cab or park and take the sight seeing bus we did one like this; https://www.trolleytours.com/boston/hop-on-hop-off It was nice, and you can hop on and off all throughout the city. I wanted to drive into the city to show the family the underground highway. That's a neat engineering accomplishment but can be nerve racking depending on the time of day you drive through. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Dig
  6. If replacing a 1200 series you can modify the cabinet or in our case we didn’t. I selected a refrigerator that would fit, and it’s still bigger than the 1200 series NOCOLD. I didn’t feel like reinventing the wheel. Unless you consider a notch on the top right corner of the cabinet opening for the hinge to clear a modification. Closed off the vents trimmed off the excess opening on the sides and that’s it! Option 1 Amish cooling system $1200.00 My doors leaked, $800.00 for new doors (cannot purchase seals separate) Option 2 Residential refrigerator $599.00 Misc wood trim, Angle brackets, screws and wood stain $50.00 MSW Inverter and 4 6volt battery’s, OEM equipment 😎 $0.00 My Labor, 4 hours $0.00
  7. This sounds like a big pain and expense altering a unit with a horrible track record. Besides the fire issues with the NOCOLD product they are prone to door problems. Richard nailed it with his comment, sounds like the doors are not sealing. Is there a reason you are trying to save this unit and not converting to a residential unit and moving on with your life?
  8. Delta P tubes? Very, very common place for carbon to build up and shut you down.
  9. SMH 😡 I saw all that was in that slide, I can tell you it left the factory with more than 400 lbs on it.
  10. Carl, no problem, it was still delicious! Bill, welcome to muggy and hot PA! I wish I could say that in January.... 😭
  11. Anyone heard from WBill? He’s supposed to be here in PA by now.
  12. I had the cobbler, I don’t think I had bread pudding. The cobbler was fantastic 😍 Bread pudding is my favorite, that and those lemon squares with the buttery crust on the bottom. Carl, watch yourself, you keep eating like that you’re likely to have more broken slides 🤣
  13. If you switch out the entire unit depending on what you select in the residential world you will gain space inside for food storage and shave a few hundred pounds off of the coach. That's how it worked out for us anyway, no electric/inverter/battery changes were necessary either.
  14. Carl, I got nothing! Rich's comment makes sense! Can you see all of this from the basement? Anything down there binding it up? Did Linda try her hammer? 😂
  15. Pat, A Cat dealer would be your best option. Most others could do it but only with CAT SIS software. Locating an RV dealer with the software and skill set to do it properly would be a needle in a haystack. Im actually surprised they didn’t complete the programming prior to releasing the coach back to you.
  16. Very close. Unless in the area for a game I’d recommend planning accordingly.
  17. Interesting. I ran Mobile Delvac 15w40 before, switched to Shell Rotella 15w40 blend then onto full synthetic. Absolutely no difference other than the oil viscosity breakdown on my lube analysis wasn’t as bad. I have to say it wasn’t bad to begin with. But...but the terrain of travel changes annually, could that have had something to do with it, you bet ya! My MPG topped out this year with the full synthetic in the crankcase, I owe that to driving habit changes and I’m sure the oil helped some, but how much we will never know. I purchase only top shelf brands, whichever I get the best price at that time.
  18. Obedb, you met my DW, if she liked it, must be good.
  19. JAMES2FMCA, welcome to the Forum! We have always stayed here, loved it! Easily accessible from I-495 and not a bad drive into Boston or Salem from here with the toad. http://www.normandyfarms.com/
  20. Dont forget to stop in Portland Maine and tour the breweries, free beer on the tour, what can I say
  21. Great idea Richard, but do you have a solution in a campground that has terrible or NO WiFi? The WIFI issue has always been a concern of ours and purchasing a hot spot isn't practical.
