  1. You can wait until morning and maybe the weather is better and then you can hook up.
  2. Check wiring. The sensor is in the bell housing, it counts the teeth on the ring gear.
  3. I have the Surge Guard hard wired with the monitor. I use it to monitor my amp usage when in limited amp situations.
  4. I extended the platform and bought a standard queen mattress. I have a Denver queen from Lippert.
  5. They are probably a great company. I had a set of Cooper tires on my Chrysler minivan and they failed. They were replaced under warranty and failed again. The 3rd time they failed the company bought me a set of Michelins to get out of their warranty responsibility. The Michelins worked for years and were on the van when I sold it.
  6. I carry 185 gal of diesel in my coach and 96 gal in my tank in the back of my Silverado toad. What I usually do is when in a campground I search out the cheapest fuel using Gas Buddy and go for it in the truck. I have a transfer pump and meter. I average about 10 mpg so I have long range.
  7. On my way to Gillette I bought a little over 100 gal of diesel for $2.999 at Costco. About 30-50 cents/gal cheaper than others.
  8. Been running Toyos for years, good performance.
  9. When we lost power and as a guest house.
  10. I did a residential conversion last year. 10.2 cu ft bottom freezer 24 in wide. Took out a Dometic that was 32 in wide and had 8 inches for a slide out pantry 5 ft tall. The new one has a larger interior than the old one. I made sure it was approved for RV use, had trouble with one in my last coach, compressor failed in 7 months. I bought this one at Best Buy on sale for $299 and for $100 extended the warranty to 5 years. Used it for 4 months this summer and was one of the better improvements I did to the coach.
  11. You can have Roadmaster install it and any event they attend, like FMCA, Quartzite, some large RV shows.
  12. That was to toad of choice back in the 70s with a tow bar.
  13. If you want to stay away from congested areas stay away from Boston.
  14. A few years ago we stayed at Watchman in the park. Has electric.
  15. in 1988 I built a garage on my vacant lot that is 32ft x 64 ft with a 15ft ceiling. Has a 14 ft rv door and a 7 ft double wide car door. I moved my metal and woodworking shop into it along with the motorhome. I then built my house using the shop equipment. I think the cost was around $30K.
  16. No mess at all, don't spill a drop. Just put the hose in a bucket and have someone start the engine and then when 6 quarts come out yell shut off.
  17. It looks like you can catch 101 around the Port Townsend Wa area. It travels out to the ocean and then south along the coast. You catch 1 in northern Ca. Making it through the bay area on 1 is something I wouldn't like to do. Like going through New York city.
  18. Might be the slave relay on the starter motor circuit.
  19. I used the original wires and mounted the monitor next to the control panel. My original system was not working right.
  20. If you go in the winter you may have to chain up, I did. I've been both in the summer and winter not too bad a drive.
  21. My 98 ISB has a solid mount fan so I don't have to worry if its working or not. I think they started putting clutches on when there were complaints that the fan made noise like a B29 going down the runway to take off.
  22. If you have lights they will never be accurate because of the internal contacts. If you want more accurate you need a system like See Level with external sensors.
  23. I talked with an engineer from Allison and he told me the way to get almost a complete change the first time is to undo the cooler return line at the transmission and put it in a bucket then fill the trans 6 quarts over full. Start the engine and then have someone watching the bucket and when 6 quarts comes out shut off the engine. Monitor the oil level and adjust accordingly. I guess thats not public knowledge because of liability. I have done it this way on 2 of my transmissions with good results. Thats the way they do it at the factory.
