  1. Usually replacement is more cost effective since its 18 years old.
  2. I saw a roof mount set up that had curved rails side to side and the panels would travel in the center and moved either right or left when in use to the correct angle. Be sure to use a MPPT controller, much more efficient.
  3. If it cools ok on electric then there must be something wrong with the propane system. Look to see if flame is present when turned on. Does all the other propane appliances work?
  4. Never use a rear flap. It take the rocks that are picked up by the tires and bounces back to the road and then it bounces back in the air and covers the whole front of the toad. Without the flap the gravel that is picked up by the tires is low enough by the time it gets to the toad it goes underneath it.
  5. I don't know, the only one I have done in the past is help with Tire Minder. I'll see who wants me!
  6. I signed up for handicap and it was stated first come first served. I think I will come on Sun or Mon. I also could park in committee area as I'm on the tech advisory committee.
  7. I put a 40 inch led tv in place of a 19 inch. If you want to see how I did it I will be at Gillette and I can show you.
  8. Changing one battery in a group will work but I always change all of them because I match mfg, dates, models so they are evenly matched. Seem to work better.
  9. We have both Verizon and Sprint. The Verizon will work in about 90% of the places we go and Sprint about 50%. When Verizon doesn't work only about 5% of the time will Sprint work. When Sprint won't work Verizon will in about 95% of the time.
  10. Did it in 2001. Went with one other coach. No particular route or plans. Just drove around. Was in Valdez when the first double hull tanker was on its maiden voyage. Got to go aboard and tour the ship. Covered a lot of miles in 2 months. Began in Vancouver with a cruise up the inland passage. Hit a lot of the attractions.
  11. Its not the switching method used that is the problem. The wire connections are where the heat is generated when they become loose or have too much resistance. This can happen on the cable end plug as well.
  12. I thought Lippert bought Power Gear.
  13. Years ago when Kohler was still in the RV gen business I was a dealer for them. Watching my techs do adjustments, they set the cycles under load to 60 Hertz then it would go higher 1-3 cycles with no load.
  14. We are here in Monroe until the 9th and then La Conner until the 15th then to Seaside until the 29th.
  15. What Thousand trails park are you in? Were in Thunderbird, Monroe.
  16. I would not travel without brakes on a dolly or 4 down. Not worth the risk.
  17. Maybe the slide needs adjusting for more clearance.
  18. One of the main reasons a transfer switch overheats and catches on fire is loose wire connections. This can happen to all switches. Wires should be checked and tightened at least once a year.
  19. Make sure the wheel on the same axle that you are weighing is at the same exact height (level) and the rest of the coach is level otherwise the readings will be off. You need to do each wheel position individually not the corner.
  20. Call Frreightliner and they will send you a wiring diagram. I have a 98 Discovery on a Freightliner and they sent me a wiring diagram.
  21. About 5 years ago I switched to 6 6volt AGMs from flooded and wish I had done it sooner. No corrosion at the terminals and the battery tray. I have 800 watts of solar with a 40 amp MPPT controller.
  22. I've had a Verizon MiFi for several years, I'm on my third different model. I recently upgraded my smart phone and checked to see how much I'm paying for just the MiFi. They told me that it only adds $20 to my bill as I was thinking of switching to FMCA. Didn't change.
