  1. AGM not the cheapest but the best.
  2. Blue Ox parts are made off shore and assembled in the U S. Roadmaster parts are engineered and manufactured in house (Vancouver, WA).
  3. There are many turbo rebuilders across the country, we even have one in Lk Havasu City, Az.
  4. The major difference is that Blue Ox has its parts made off shore and Roadmaster manufactures its parts in house so its basically made in the U S. I have toured the Roadmaster main plant. Roadmaster inspects all of its bars at the conventions, free of charge and does repairs if needed.
  5. I would check with Haier to see if they will warranty it if it fails like mine did. Not worth the effort to install it if its not going to last.
  6. He was delivering new pleasure boats and rv trailers not commercial trailers.
  7. If the frequency is between 59 and 61 the rpm should be 1800.
  8. Typically the boost solenoid is triggered by the house battery because the assist is for starting the engine. Most generators start off of the house batteries although some have their own separate battery. If you want to be bidirectional install a diode on each of the battery positive wires to the trigger switch. That way either bank can activate the solenoid.
  9. Need to fasten it to the floor. If you can't reach behind, you can screw down brackets that will slip over the base in the rear, similar to a stove that is used the keep the stove from tipping over when a child sits on an open oven door. Take the front grill off and screw to base to the floor.
  10. The old inverter was a SW2000 watt Xantrex, pure sine wave. I haven't used a msw in 20 plus years. I also changed coaches 2 1/2 years ago. I have installed 3k inverters for years.
  11. One note One note of caution. I installed a Haier refrigerator and the compressor failed in 4 months. I was told there is no warranty because it was installed in a motorhome. I would get a written statement from them stating it is ok in a motorhome. I now have a Insignia from Best Buy. I called Insignia factory a was told it is ok to install in a motorhome and they also told me of the 3 year warranty extension for $100. I bought the warranty so now it is good for 5 years. I use a 3000 watt Xantrex with 6 AGMs. 800 watt solar with a MPPT 40 amp charge controller. I am currently at the FMCA Gillette and if anyone wants to see my install call me 702-497-9946.
  12. I am willing to show modifications that I have done to my coach. It is a 98 Fleetwood Discovery. Lot H Street 23, third coach in. My cell is 702-497-9946 Full body paint Double fuel capacity, lift pump Spare tire mount 30 to 50 amp change over with 3 shore cords 800 watt solar system 3000 inverter with Fresh water entry system and sewer dump system 43 inch 4K led tv in living room and 40 tv in bedroom Residential refrigerator and slide out pantry Full size queen bed Silverado with fuel tank and transfer system
  13. I just put it in and really haven't had much of a chance to use it. When sitting in the campground at Seaside Or it worked well. It has a separate volume control so you can have the volume at the level you want and when it goes back to radio its at the level for the radio. I'm in Oregon City Or now and will be leaving tomorrow morning for Gillette.
  14. My iPhone 8 has that feature. When the vehicle is moving it blocks the functions that require pushing buttons. You can over ride that function if the passenger is using the phone. I just changed out my dash radio because it played cassettes! I got one with cd player and blue tooth for 2 phones. It has auto answer so when I get a call all I have to do is talk.
  15. I have MASA, lifetime. Good world wide.
  16. I use a Wilson We Boost with a trucker antenna mounted on the roof. It seems to work, increasing the signal 2x.
  17. I have a MiFi 7730 L Verizon, as long as you have a signal it works pretty good until it hits 15 gig then slows down. I then go to my iPhone and it works pretty good until it hits 15 gig and then it slows down. The MiFi costs me $20 a month.
  18. I was told that my Verizon plan covers Canada and Mexico, no extra charge.
  19. Thats what I found out when troubleshooting mine. I have a 6.5 Onan with two circuits, one 30 amp and one 20 amp. That's why I completely rebuilt my electric system-- converting it to a 50 amp ATS and shore cord. I have the 30 amp side power the Acs and the 20 amp power the rest of the coach when the generator is running. When plugged in to 50 amp each side has 50 amp. My roof airs draw 20-21 amps total with both running. Glad you got yours running finally.
  20. On my 98 Discovery the transfer switch is behind the breakers under the fridge. Its a cheesy looking metal box about 5 inches square. Mine was intermittently working so I rewired my 30 amp system to a 50 amp. Installed a big transfer switch in the bay next to the engine where the 50 amp cord comes in. Ran a 8 gauge stranded 3 wire from the gen to the ATS. Works perfect and is accessible to work on.
  21. I was referring to a check valve as mentioned by the op and clarifying the function of the check valve.

    RVA jacks

Years ago I was a dealer for RVA. Will it retract using the manual valve? The last time I saw Dennis Kay was some 7 years ago and he was just about shut down with only one employee left, from a high of 20.
