Has anyone used this system. I usually use gas buddy and find the least expensive diesel. The other day I found it for $2.59 and bought 96 gallons that I put in my tank in the back of my Silverado. Saved $48 over the average price of diesel in the area. It seems like the discounts they give you are off a expensive price and bottom line is your paying more.

You might verify the readings by using the same voltmeter at each location.

What I did on mine (98 Discovery) was to install open face auto dish for Directv and put a satellite receiver in the living room and the bedroom using the existing coax and an hdmi cable between each receiver and HD tv. Also installed a DVD player at each location with hdmi cable using the input switcher in the tvs.

Herman your always spot on most of the time. I have had TT for some 15 years and have been to 47 of their campgrounds. Almost all of them have been adequate. They are not Outdoor Resorts of America. Last year we stayed in TT 102 nights for the annual fee of $585. We upgraded our membership when they added 2 more campground systems that gave us a lot better coverage in the east. We bought our original membership from a broker for $99 dollars plus $750 transfer fee to TT. The reason so many are for sale is people get old and quite RVing and they don't want to pay the annual fee cause they are not using it. At that time the membership that we got was $8K from TT. It included 14 days in and we could go park to park with no time out and frozen dues. Its not for everyone but its great for us. We are not full time.

The wiring and controller might not work. A 25 watt panel will produce slightly over 1 amp in bright sunlight which is a small part of the 24 hour day. Not hardly enough to make a difference. I have 800 watts with a MPPT controller and that is sometimes not enough.

The lithium batteries are for the house only, don't need 900 CCA. Battle Born lithiums come with a 10 year warranty. You need fewer batteries and the run time is over twice AGMs and the charge time is about half. 6 AGMs weigh 432 lbs and 4 lithiums weigh 120 lbs.

If you can adjust your current charging systems to work with lithiums it will cost you $6K for six 100 amp lithiums and that should run about twice as long on a charge and recharge in much less time.

It was not installed correctly. It needs to be adjusted right to work right. Its pretty straight forward installation so if you mechanic can't install it right it might be time to look for another mechanic.

The way a tank is filled from another tank is it is pumped with an electric pump and is liquid. The motor you hear running when you get you tank filled is the pump and it is pumping liquid.

I just toured the Battle Born lithium battery factory last week. Sure opened my eyes at the differences between the different lithium construction. The type of cells are critical for longevity and how far they can be discharged to. The onboard battery management system is critical for the proper operation of the battery. The top terminal 12 volt 100 amp has a retail price of $949 and the 12 volt 100 amp golf cart size with front terminals is $1049. The warranty is 10 years with replacement up to 8 years. They will hold a charge for a year with no load.

Over charged. That can happen to a brand new battery. If you leave it plugged in the charge needs to be about 13.2 volts no higher. A trickle charger can overcharge if left on too long.

Under the floor by the brake pedal. The switch will have 2 wires, one is 12 v and the other is hot when brake pedal is pushed. You need the coach to be aired up for the brake lights to work.

3 years ago I bought a 98 Discovery 36 with a Cummins ISB 275 6 speed Allison trans. 99,895 miles on it and was is very good condition with the original interior. I've worked on RVs at our shop for some 38 years. I knew that the engine injector pump should be changed and the lift pump replaced. I did modifications to some of the systems, doubled the fuel capacity, installed rack and electric winch to hold a spare tire, upgraded from 30 to 50 amp service, installed 800 watts solar and 4 100 amp lithium batteries. Full body paint with 4 coats of clear all baked on. I tow a Silverado 4x4 with M&G brake system, its a little slow going up hills but I've out grown the need to be the first to the top and I enjoy getting around 10 mpg.

Roger, If you think about it this way, the longer the radius the more rotational leverage you have on the brake mechanism. Like pulling a nail with a longer handle on the hammer. I proved it when I did my conversion, even arguing with the chassis engineers. They finally agreed with me. My original disc brakes were air over hydraulic were too weak thats when I went to air suspension and air brakes on bigger axles.
