  1. Maybe that is why they cost so much, govt contract?
  2. I didn't know about the aircraft info. Good to know when I get my Lear, haha. Thanks Bill.
  3. I would have no problem getting Snap on. I do agree about the Craftsman quality. Even their return policy isn't what it used to be. That said, I'm not wrenching as much as I used to so I'm leaning towards Craftsman. Thanks Richard, good points.
  4. Retired here but I've never had a problem paying for quality. Thanks Jim
  5. Just curious. Had all of our stuff in storage back in PA and it got burglarized. Among other stuff, all my tools were stolen. I was always a big Craftsman guy but I know things aren't how they used to be. Just wanted to get some thoughts from you Pro's. Thanks Guys.
  6. I'd like to see a classified section in here. Great idea
  7. Hi Tom, we will be heading to the RGV after Big Bend Natl Park. Can you suggest any good routes or boondock sites? We have no problem staying at a nice resort either. Maybe a meet up if you both are still there. Our ETA is going to be middle of March or a bit later. Thanks
  8. Yeh, we do want to go see Big Bend so good chance we will head down that way. Thanks Carl. Got a buddy in Lafayette who is a Cajun chef. He loves to cook and we love to eat, hehe.
  9. Thanks Bill. We were at San Antonio in 2016 on our first trip. Not sure if we'll get up that way this time but thanks for the tips.
  10. Any suggestions on RV parks or even BLM sites?
  11. At Davis-Montham Fam camp in Tucson getting Sweetie Pie's leg fixed up. We'll be here till the end of the month while she does her therapy. Then it is east to El Paso for a few days and then down thru the RGV. Got to check out all the hoopla everybody is talking about. After that it will be up along the gulf coast and into Lafayette LA around the middle of April. Will leave there around May 1st and over to Rome GA then TN and KY and up to PA. Anybody want to meet up?
  12. Great tip Herman. That's good to know because we plan on going out to the hot springs at some point. Thanks.
  13. We'll be back in Punxsy June 1st. Going to be in PA for about 3 months then heading west again. Maybe we can do a meet up with a few Keystoners?
  14. That is a great idea Herman. Really like to meet you guys but we will be in PA in June. Best I can do might be Houston around the end of March.
  15. It is the boondocking capital of the world but it's not for us. We had to do it once to see for ourselves. Thanks
  16. Thanks, he's a good boy. I doubt we will come here again but I did see some better spots on the other side of the pass towards Bouse. Supposed to be not as dusty and from what I saw, a little more secluded. Thanks again
  17. We are not planning on being there before June 1st. Thanks
  18. Here we in Quartzsite, boondocking for the first time. Been here 2 weeks now. Solar panel install. You're right Bill Adams, this is one dusty 'Burg. Had to do it at least once. We'll be heading to Tucson soon, not sure if it will be a day, a week or a month. After that, through El Paso and along southern TX to the RGV. Very well could be spending some time there this winter so we want to check it out on our way to Lafayette, LA..
  19. OK, the fuses are good, power is where it's supposed to be, arrow is pointed away from the pump, it's all good. I had one of the valves in bypass instead of normal use so when I installed the check valve and turned the pump on, it did pump and pressure up and turn off. Wasn't until I went in to wash for supper, I noticed no water coming out the spigot. Well, there was enough to wet my hands and soap up and then it died. Tried a few things and couldn't get the pump to come on or get any water. Troubleshot today and found the problem. Put the 3 valves in normal use and away we go. Diagnosis: Loose nut behind the wheel. Thanks guys
  20. Yeh, I made sure about the arrow. Thinking back, it did come on after installing the check valve but I may have bumped the hot wire on the switch to the frame and could be a popped fuse. I'll be fresh at it in the morning. Thanks
  21. Had the same issue with my coach. Fresh water tank filling on shore water. I installed a check valve downstream of the pump but now the pump wont come on at all. I saw a thread in here about having to prime the pump but don't remember where it was. It got dark so I went back on shore water. Tomorrow I will get out and check the fuses and so on. When putting the check valve in I'm sure I got air in the lines. Does the pump need primed and if so, what are the steps? Thanks Guys.
  22. I still got my Mickey Mouse phone.
